Great to finally see the actual numbers, thanks!

The last I heard were from 2004 when B&B supposedly constantly broke the 6 million viewer barrier in the midst of the European soccer championship putting the expensively bought distribution rights for the soccer games to shame.

Those are interesting numbers, glad they're doing so well over there. B&B is in other countries too, right? Anyone have ratings for any where else? DAYS is in Holland I know, I watched it some this summer when I was there. Anyone have any other soap ratings from other countries?

In italy there is " the young and restless", low rate, because in air in morning and i can watch only 1/2 episode USA

Well good to know I was right about that Nina/Brennan pivot and I am not the only one to notice. Perhaps not Dead Man Walking...well not yet anyway.

Tbf, DT was checked in during his spats with Drew, but the uneven writing when they would go at it from CVE, not Korte didn't help. That said...I agree. I've gone from indifference on Curtis most days to disliking him as much as I did when Drew was making his dark turn.

BTG: June 2026 Discussion Thread

Playing catch-up on last week and a few notes...

I am at the flashback episode. I know some people would have liked it from the beginning, but I disagree. I said before my trip that it does seem with the cotillion done that the show appears to be pivoting off to an Impaler reveal and at least building momentum back into the Hayley storyline. Since the show also seems to want an event a month (cotillion in May, the current Y&R crossover-hey, Victor, hey!!) and it still has a build with Hayley...could we get a story turn/reveal in July for Ms. Kristen Dimera???

Them showing the flashbacks now reinstates the stakes/dynamic within the Hayley storyline which has stalled. And some of the audience would need a reminder since it does seem the Dani/Andre story angle is coming back around. Not to mention the Bill/Dani/Andre triangle that is a gold mine sitting in front of the writers.

I'm finding the episode extremely good. And I very much love that they are writing Dani and Andre how they SHOULD be written. They felt like them and not the slanted writing for them that I've complained about. They communicate EVERYTHING even when they don't like it. And that has been on display and that's part of the reason I love them as a couple.

So Stephanie missed? And I gotta say, what a letdown (again)
I didn't need Joy to be shot so badly that she almost dies, but a shot in the leg or the arm would've been something at least. And also could've really strengthened her determination, and given her better motivation to (possibly) keep Stephanie away from Kelsey. Despite this letdown, I'm still interested in seeing what happens though, and whether or not it leads Stephanie into the arms of another man lol. Abigail Klein continued to do a good job. And compared to RSW, and AlexAnn Hopkins, she really did carry those scenes, IMO. But yeah, Paula/Jeanne really need to stop with the 'good cliffhanger but piss poor resolution' thing that they've done too many times now.
I'm glad that we got to see Shawn and Jada again though, and that they were included in Stephanie's situation. I wouldn't mind the two of them having a bigger part in this somehow. Stephanie needs to have more scenes with her best friend, and we need to see Shawn and Jada a lot more than we do. They were sweet together in the beginning.
Tate and Holly were sweet together as well. I'm not really sure how Tate was able to sign a lease on a gym so quickly lol but at least we have a new set for characters to interact in, and to see Tate, and other people working out in 😉😂
Too bad that they didn't have him look hot though lol. To me, the sex appeal was pretty strong today 😍😂😂
And yep, still don't care about Leo and Gwen
Honestly, I think that's as much on Dan Feuerriegel as it is on the writers.
I would too lol but it still feels like a missed opportunity to not have something happen between them. Or to get over his feelings for Gabi, Theo starts dating Arianna, while she's still pining for Liam.
