Steve & Kayla's scenes were so powerful. It's Stephen & Mary Beth's best performance since they came back six months ago.

I really think Hogan might submit Monday's episode for Emmy submition.

I have to wait until tomorrow, so I can tape and keep these episodes. :D

That's a really huge file (over 100 mb). There's a much more manageble-sized file up now at http://www.ohlookabird.com/dool/2006/121106.wmv (right-click and save)

I'll have a lot more to say on the Monday Days thread, but those scenes are some of the most powerful acting I've seen on Days ever. Amazing stuff. I cried like a baby, and I refuse to say how many times I've watched it *g*

I'm tempted to watch, but I'm going to wait and watch it live.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!

It will be so great to see the whole show. This is sounding like Hogan's best episode yet.

I think this is where we see Days kick into high gear now.

Oh my God! Those scenes are intense, romantic, high-stakes human drama! Not because of special effects, not because of some big-budget shootout. But because of the writing, the human emotion, and the acting.

I didn't "get" Steve and Kayla's magic all this summer. Some moments were cute... some moments were even great. But I never saw "that" magic... until Monday's scenes.

Yowza.

I hope they get a great story! With chemistry and raw emotion like that, it'd be a huge shame if they didn't. What passion!

That's why I never posted one word about Steve and Kayla. I knew, having seen him when he was nothing but a thug, and her nothing but a recast, that once the material started getting good and they got something to really do, they would shine like the sun in their scenes.

One of the best couple pairing in soap hostory, bar none. Ane now, everyone sees why. I'm glad everyone is now enjoying the TRUE Steve & Kalya. :)

You said it Roman.

All they needed was movement and a story. Now we will see the real Steve and Kayla and those that didn't see them will see what the fuss is about.

Monday is a major turning point I beleive for them and for the show.
