OLTL

I haven't seen a One Life thread in awhile. I'm interested in hearing what is working and not working for people right now. I know the ratings for this show are horrible right now, but there are somethings I'm enjoying. I only watch a couple of times a week, but I'm interested in the Tessica/Atonio/Nash triangle. I'm rooting for Nash and Jess.

I'm also interested in Michael/Marcy and Tommy. I can't wait to see what happens with Todd.

I feel like they dropped the ball a little with the John reveal. I wanted to see more of Michael's reaction.

I'm not that interested in the Starr/Cole situation, so that's not working for me. I think the kid who plays Cole is out of his depth.

That makes me sad. The show must really suck cuz you tend to see the bright side.

I've been watching but sometimes it's really hard not to turn off for good.

Of the storylines you mentioned, I think I'm most invested in Marcie/Michael/Tommy but I'd like to see more of a storyline for them. They seemed to somewhat have dropped Marcie working.

I'd also like see more Buchanan men interacting and get Paige out of the picture since she's seriously dull.

IMO, OLTL is the worst soap I've ever seen as of now. I quit watching during the day to watch Days. The little bit I catch on SoapNet is awful at best.

Nothing at all, and it's about to take AMC's place in the show I'm not watching right now category, I only watch for Viki, Todd, and Blair anyway. <_<

Check out what soap critic Marlena DeLacroix has to say about OLTL!

I know! I usually always do...I really liked the whole idea of 2 people being in a horrible wreck and 1 dying, but everyone thinks it's the wrong person - this actually happened in real life with 2 girls about a year or so again in Tennessee maybe or somewhere - anyway I would have loved this story if it were with 2 people I actually cared about. I'm not a John fan at all - and I didn't care about Hugh - and I don't like Natalie that much - and Paige is BORING. Soooo, I wish I could get into this story - but I just don't care. lol

I was sorta enjoying the Tommy thing - but now I don't. I just don't like the direction.

I can't stand Forbes March and don't really like the Antonio character - so any of that I could care less.

The kid playing Cole is laughable - I would enjoy the Starr/Cole thing more if there was a better actor playing Cole I think. Then Marty used to be one of my favorite characters, but I can't get into a storyline that will rehash popular history with 2 new actors playing the popular roles in a different way then what used to be (if that makes sense).

I think the major problem is that all of my favorite OLTL characters are being backburnered or fired :(

Nothing sums it up best for me too.

I tried to watch more often during sweeps because their last sweeps was so good. But the show was a big mess all month long.

I do still like some of the actors, but for many of them their characters have been ruined to such an extent that it is even hard to watch some of them.

Nothing. I stopped watching.

The vets are not used.

Evangeline has been changed to put her with the most boring ill matched person they could find for her on the show. She is my favorite so the fact that she doesnt have a story and is in an awful pairing I find nothing of interest to watch.

Todd should have gone after Spencer long ago. Now I have no interest to watch him play catch up.

Cannot stand Natalie. I dont know why the show thinks we would care or root for her. She has been frontburner every sweeps since last year and I got sick of watching an actress who cannot act and that plays an awful character ruin every boring sweeps the inept DH could pen.

They ruined John to force him into a pairing with a character most do not root for (Natalie). So I could care less that he died or is back from the dead.

Stupid dragged out stories featuring characters with no rooting value and every couple on the show are terrible. Everyone is with the wrong person. So basically the show sucks lemon.

I stopped watching OLTL and started watching AMC since it seems to be improving. I have never seen such a horrible soap-- I saw DAYS through Melaswen, but I refuse to see OLTL through the crap that's going on right now.

The only thing that was holding my attention was the Tommy thing, but I'm getting tired of it being all about Rex here (one week of him struggling to tell the truth is getting boring, and I'm not understanding why Adriana has to be apart of it all too).

I'm ready for the fallout, and some Marcie vs Todd screaming/arguing matches. It also seems to have a predicable ending: Todd gets Tommy and Marcie and Michael go off to have a child of their own (with it all coming out poosibly when Tommy gets sick like Starr and Jack). Friday's episode with Rex's dream was a bit dumb, but I did enjoying Todd Jr killing Blair and Marcie in a cardboard box was kinda funny.

This John being alive and Jolie crap is as nausating as always. Vincent discovers the truth, and yet it's all about Natalie being the hero? What-the hell-ever... It just makes all the reaction to John's death and funeral, look even more stupid. They are all celebrating John being alive, and barely anything about Hugh. I wouldn't be surprised if they treat him as even more of an afterthought... if Hugh was alive too, they I could be interested, but he isn't and I'm not.

Marty/Todd/Blair is beyond annoying. I had to roll my eyes at Blair when Marty walking into the police station... her calling Marty a lair, that Todd didn't rape her; pretty much showed how they are going to be treating this mess of a storyline. Starr and Cole would be interesting, if Cole could act a little better.

The only time I find Nash/Jessica/Antonio interesting, is when they aren't on screen.

^^Those are pretty much my feelings on the Tommy thing.

LMFAO! I love it - and that's how I feel too.

If they have Viki her own storyline I would watch, but as it stands Viki has been complete marginalized with no story, no love interest, essentially nothing. How they could do that to Erika freaking Slezak is reprehensible, Higley should be fired for her not writing for Viki alone, let alone what they have done to Nora, no RJ, no Lindsay, Clint a complete moron idiot in love with a woman who killed his grandchild? David is gone, Kevin is gone, Kelly will be. Don't care about the rest, and with Viki hardly ever on, and with no story and none to come, impossible to watch. Did anyone read the tv guide interview Slezak did? She said Higley has her own agenda in who to write for and it isn't Viki, so screw Higley and OL, they can't write for Viki, screw them.

I just got around to watching Friday's episode and when it went off, I was just disgusted. I hadn't taped it in about two weeks and after watching Friday's episode I remember why. I can't believe that just six months ago I was racing to my television every day at 2 o'clock to see this. I'd rather watch a cardboard box than this sorry excuse for a once great soap.
