Ok, EricaKane4life...(a.k.a. BIG ASS HAM) :D...here.

I just found out that Jill is not Kay's daughter on Young and the Restless.

That's a major story that's coming up.

B) Yeah, I know. You gives worship me. But listen.

Maybe now that Y&R is about to undo what was a silly plot beat in the first

place--then maybe AMC will undo that idiotic abortion on Erica Kane?

SIGH.

I wasn't watching Y&R when this story happened but didn't it do well with the audience and the ratings? I thought people loved it. It should be an interesting story no matter what! Two vets who can actually act carrying an important storyline. Other soaps could learn from this...hint...hint...AMC (cough).

OH!!!

People loved it?

Well that shows you how much I now.

I wasn't watching the show, but I thought it was stupid to have Jill turn out to be Kay's child

after all those years of watching Jill as a Foster. I loved Jill's mama!

Anyway, does anybody know about Chris Goutman leaving ATWT??? I hear they're all

reporting to Carol Shure now and they're getting a new HW.

Could that be Kay Alden who's been consulting "under the table"?

HEY WAIT! This part about ATWT is totally gossip and speculation. I'm just trying to see if

anybody else has heard any good juice on these bits of info?

To my knowledge, everyone hated it. The initial scenes were great, but it turned into a Jump the Shark moment as it developed.

BTW, I'm believing Latham as well. I don't know why she'd tell the mags that she 100% wasn't going to do that, if she was. But if she did do this it would be a popular twist with fans. People have been begging someone to change it back.

I accidentally rolled over and saw a SCRIPT that's going to be filmed THIS WEEK (air in Dec.).

But I guess I misunderstood Kay finding out that Jill isn't really her daughter.

Very confused now as I was 100% sure.

ATWT might get a new HW?? Isn't the show doing really well right now? Why would they make any changes? This makes me so mad. Here is a network that is pushing for change and they don't really need it while ABC continues to kill it's soaps. When in the world is McTavish and Frons going to be replaced????

    • I think Bill covered for Martin's crime..
    • It's so jarring seeing the changeover from Sherry Mathis to Louan Gideon.  The vibe, mannerisms, and overall personality of Liza changes instantly. The chemistry Sherry has with both David F and Joe Lambie is gone the second the recast happens.  I wonder how viewers took the news of the recast since you didn't have time in between airings before the change happened. Quinn/Sarah... One overacts (Quinn) and one under acts (Sarah). Wendy of 1985 is a good mix of the 1982 sweet Wendy and the 1983/84 vixenish Wendy.
    • Oups!! I guess when i was doing the editing, i left a part of 3169, too (RTL Lounge airs 2 episodes per day back to back). Sorry about that ! Tonight i ll try to record 3171-3172. If i m not mistaken 3172 is missing from YouTube.

    • I would put Felicia in the 'small dose' auntie category because she means well, but comes on too strongly at times.  In small doses, she would be a blast to hang out with.. but in anything larger than a small... she would be exhausting. I tend to prefer lower key people than people that are always 'on' all the time.  Those people can veer off into energy vampire status pretty quickly.
    • I didn't like the Harry story, but Nazar did have a great introduction. He was probably the highlight of last year.  Now that you mention it, I guess the truly dire stories (Nicole, Harper/Drew/Phil, Nicole) didn't start until summer.
    • thank you all for contributing to the Vault. I am slowly getting towards watching the 1998 episodes

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
