AMC: New theory on Emma/Kate

It occurred to me while watching today's show that there is only one way Annie could have given birth to Emma, but still not be biologically related to her. It's total sci-fi like the unabortion, but I suspect that Dr. Madden took some of Kate's amniotic fluid and/or stem cells and used them to clone another embryo, which he implanted into Annie. So, Tad & Dixie are Emma's biological parents, but she's not Kate after all. This way, Annie can keep her daughter and McT can prolong the search for Kate in one of the dumbest, most unrealistic storylines she's ever done. What does everyone else think?

Its definately right up McTavish's alley that is for sure.

But I personally do believe Emma is Kate, but she probably won't be in Dixie and Tad's arms until like May sweeps of next year LOL. Unless McT is given the boot before hand.

I think Megan will go the predictable route.... Annie just happend to be at the same hospital in Switzerland as Dixie, gave birth to a baby..... but Madden switched the baby with Kate and Annie's child perhaps is out there with other parents or the child died. One or the other. I still think Annie is not 100% telling the truth.

Interesting scenario. And, as others have said, it fits Megan to a (Mc)T.

A little birdie told me the real deal with Emma, or at least the general answer as to who she is. But I still don't know how all these DNA tests are going to be explained. There's so much to reconcile. David's DNA test, Annie's DNA test, Annie definitely giving birth to her (probably), more DNA tests to come I'm sure lol. It better all be explained.

This fits Megan to a T. Please don't let it be true, ha

Like I said, I think Annie is still lying. She is not being 100% truthful.

Oh gosh - please don't go that route McT!

I agree, I don't think Annie is telling the 100% truth.

I just hope Emma is actually Kate, bc I don't want to wait another couple months of them trying to find a NEW girl and going through the whole scenario again....just end this please. Kill off Annie (it'd be sad...but we could handle it...lol) - and then give Emma to Tixie - and then bring back Greenlee! Then all bases are covered and we can MOVE THE HELL ON! lol

I think Madden took Kate prematurely and then implanted Kate into Annie, throw in some sort of mind erasing drug and some "reprograming"of Annie and all is explained in some sick twisted McTavish kind of way.

I think Terry somehow got someone to fix Emma's DNA results so that they don't match Annie's, to get back at her for trying to take Emma away from him.

I still think David fixed Tad's DNA results to match Emma's, as revenge, when it comes out Emma isn't Kate, it will hurt Tad, which David will love.

Some people have talked about something called "Chimerism" which has happened in real life, where the mother's DNA doesn't match the childs, but they are biologically mother and daughter.
