Y&R Discussion for the Week of October 9

Dru isn' t the only person on Y&R to pay for her crimes. Victor stood trial and was humiliated by his own son. John went to prison and all but died there. Dru was foolish to put her hands on Carmen after she'd already been warned to stay away. Personally, I thought it was out of character for Dru to attack someone physically like that.

I don't know how Victoria could legally refuse Dru. That's a huge liability. If I went to work and assaulted one of my co-workers there's really no question that I'd be let go. I just don't see how Victoria is going to get around the fact that Dru has created an unsafe work environment for Carman. It really doesn't matter what Dru's reasons were for what she did.

I wonder if Dru will end up back at Jabott or running Neil's Jazz club?

I was referencing the crimes in current storylines.

I hear you. I think other people will end up paying even if not in a criminal court. Michael is kind of facing the consequences of betraying Lauren. The stress of what he did has sent her into premature labour. I think Jack might wish he was in jail after Victor gets done with him (Don't let me down TGVN!)

I love Dru. I'm ready to see her in a new environment. I guess all the action is at Newman, but working at the jazz club or Jabott could be good. I really liked her in the Jabbot job more. Her competitive side came out there.

So do I. The only thing I don't like about her working at Neil's new club is the fact that it will be them staying in this marriage <_< with Neil never having to account for HIS actions from the day he found out Lily wasn't his. My fear is that things will go off well with the club and then all the nastiness he showered Dru with for MONTHS will just be swept under the rug. Now I can understand his anger about the paternity, but all this mess with Carmen and the both of them acting like Dru is the a-hole and making things up when they know damn well they were both trying to hook up, just ticks me off.

One more thing, now that Dru has been fined, sent to therapy and the whole shebang, we know we are NEVER going to see her assault anyone again, especially Phyllis, who I also like, but needs a good smackdown as of late.

Can someone shoot Carmen, and have the bullet go right into Victoria as well.

First off if Carmen is sooooo fearful for her life as she says, then why can't her sorry butt look for another job? I mean, REALLY! Who made her Queen Victim of the Day? "I can't work under these conditions, fearing for my life." Whatever....No sympathy from me. Victoria is the biggest wuss. I would have been like, "Maybe you wouldn't have gotten Jacked up for messing with another woman's man. Sorry, can't help you." Now I bet it would be a whole other story if Carmen was drooling over her man too; I mean, she didn't waste time firing Sharon after she found out about her "kiss" with Brad.

I do think that Neil is realizing the mess he made. I'm beginning to see some of that in the way he responds to Miss 1796.gif

Ok? While I'd understand her so-called concerns, (if they were legit) she has what? A whole 3 or 4 months invested at Newman??? With her excellent resume, what's keeping her at a job that's she so fearful for her well being? What gets me is that she is SO demanding and cocky about this whole matter. She doesn't look, sound, or ACT the least bit scared. She's trying to get the wife of the company owner's right hand man fired. Morally, yes, Dru should be fired, but we all know someone with 4 months on the job wouldn't really get the pendulum to swing their way like that. Has Carmen even met her probationary period? If she was so scared, you'd think she'd keep a low profile or better yet, just quit. Knowing she'll still be seeing Neil, Lily and Daniel almost daily at the job and it won't be pleasant.

Furthermore, who does she think she is barging into the CEO's office to DEMAND someone be terminated? Shouldn't she have gone to HR?

ETA: Oh boy, and now she's threatening a LAWSUIT? I'm sorry, but this has gone beyond Dru. This is nothing but her wounded pride that she couldn't get her hooks into Neil. She's sooooo scared but she is doing everything she can to hurt the Winters' family.

I'm just saying this right now....I expect a Victoria/Adrian Korbel/Brad/Colleen/JT thing to happen...I just know that Colleen and Victoria will once again compete for a man's affection..... When I saw Professor Korbel looking at Vicky, I was like "Uh oh."

My goodness, Carmen STFU! Who does she think she is to demand that Victoria fire Dru and threaten to sue if she doesnt. Um last time I checked homegirl isnt even a Newman employee. Isnt she an independent freelancer. IA that granted what happened, that the best alternative is for Dru to be let go but I dindt like how Carmen went about with it. She's not a Newman employee, Dru is so if she's so scared, then she needs to go looking for another assignment. I was LOL at Neil not being on her side anymore.

Wow. Victoria didn't even consult anyone before just calling Dru in to fire her. She just let a new employee bully her into firing a long term employee. Just wow. "I'll sue!" are the magic words I guess. No suspension while they review their options, nothing.

ETA: Holy sheeyit! Neil got a clue! He finally figured out that Carmen is just looking for payback because she didn't get what she wanted.

0671.gif Neil FINALLY SEEN THE LIGHT... I think they are truly gearing up for a "Whodunnit" in regards to Miss Carmen "I"ll Sue" Mesta.

Neil called it right out...She wanted Dru out of the way, so she could have Neil. Now that Neil ain't interested, she's a woman scorned, so she set her sights on ruining a family just because she couldn't have the main prize.

Speaking of Carmen...Would she have done that mess if she were interested in Jack and Jack suddenly turned his sights on Sharon. Would she found ways to destroy Sharon too? Most likely she would have, because I can see now that this skanky gal has done this type of stuff before.

Carmen's not a real employee...she's a CONTRACTOR at that.

The writing for this ENTIRE storyline is crap. Pure Dee Crap.

I'm also a member of the school that believes that Carmen wanted Neil for sex or love or whatever, but only wanted Jack to enhance her career.

:lol:These little animated gifs you post have me rollin!

I agree with what you said. I was editing my last post the same time you were posting. It's all about her not managing to get Neil. She got Jack with ease, but Neil was the challenge becuase he was married and for the most part, has a high moral fiber. She had some nerve saying he led HER on then goes and defends his WIFE. WTF? Heffa, she is HIS WIFE! He's supposed to defend her. I can't stand this whore.

 @ Pure Dee crap. I haven't heard that saying is years, but it sure as hell fits.

I have to say I am loving the Lauren scenes today. It's so real. No insta-baby with just a few puffs. She's really suffering emotionally and physically. These scenes gave me goosebumps. Somehow though, it doesn't seem fair that Lauren has become such a peach the last few years and has to suffer YET AGAIN, while Phyllis has been effing up people's lives recently and she's bouncing around happy and getting married. Just ain't right. I dont; want Phyllis to lose her baby either, but she's the one that should be suffering.

Saw the Y&R Promotion for next week....

0710.gif at the thought that there truly was a Truce between Jack Abbott and Victor Newman.....that truce went out the window once Victor got on the right medications. It's going to be a 1236.gif moment for Jack and Victor...and sorry to say, looks like Jack once again will fall on his face.

Looks like there's going to be a whole lot of threats being made to Carmen's face.....Ooooh, don't look too good for Miss Carmen "Fatal Attraction" Mesta. That woman brings on a whole new meaning of Fatal Attraction; all she needs is to find a rabbit to throw in a pot of boiling water.

When Neil pointed his finger at Carmen and said "I told you, you better back off," and the look on Carmen's face told me, Miss Thang is going to go out of her way to keep stirring up trouble...For someone to be sooo scared and fearful of her life, she's doing a poor job acting like it.

Did Dru get fired by Pod Victoria? Who is Carmen to even demand her head?

Yeah, Carmen busted up in there telling Victoria..."How can I work under these conditions? Always looking over my shoulder, seeing if Dru is going to push me down the stair. Either you remove Dru, or else I'll have to call my attorney."

And of course, Pod Victoria, doing like she always does, cowered, and gave in, and tried to sugarcoat it all around Dru with some lame "I can give you some side projects that you can work on for me, while you are at home." Woman please! If anyone should have been told to get packing within an hour, it should have been Carmen...She's only been there four months and she's throwing her weight around like she owns stuff.

Carmen thought that if she kept pushing Dru's buttons and running to Neil, she would have some success in removing her from Neil's life...but her actions eventually backfired on her butt. And you could tell that Neil hit the truth on her hard, and she had to come up with that pathetic "You and Dru deserve each other."
