OMG that was better than I expected. I don't think Felicia is dead. She will be back!

I knew someone would kill Gabby's stepfather but I thought it would be Bree and Carlos would forgive her. So weird seeing Tony Plana play a bad guy.

I missed the Felicia part but have it on DVD. I didnt know about Gabby's stepfather. I must have missed it when she mentioned him in previous episodes. I thought the cliffhanger/ending was rather lame. I was expecting more.

I do like Bree and her new guy.

Tom and Lynette...gawd...just shoot them now....lol

The ending...LAME! This was almost a rehash of the season 4 ending where Katherine killed someone and the housewives rallied together to help her cover it up. It was highlypredictable too.

Putting 2 episodes on tonight was a big mistake. Usually when they've done that for finales, the 2 episodes were actualyl connected and flowed into each other well but it was so disjoined today. The first episode ended and had nothing to do with the next one. The Dinner Party could have and should have stood on its own.

And WTF to Renee not being in the first episode? I didnt even notice she was missing till the dinner party and it just highlighted how wasted she is.

Lynette and Tom, well its about time he left her ass. Would have served her right had he been cheating on her.

Love Bree and her new guy. That must have been some hot sex...lol. I have to say his ex wife was pretty

I liked that Susan and Paul were able to make up. I enjoyed their friendship in teh last several episodes.

Karma's a bitch. Thank god Felicia is finally dead and of her own doing

Doug Savant was the epitome of boring on MP. Tom Scavo >>>>> Matt Fielding

I LOVED the ending. It was nothing like Katherine's incident to me because this was about the core women. It reminded me a ton of the Mary Alice secret from the first season, except now these four are the ones with the secret. Great play with that idea. Also, it resolved Bree and Carlos' issues.

I, too, am enjoying Chuck a lot.

The four leads ARE the center of the mystery for next year. That's a really fresh concept for once. The Katherine subplot was forgotten about after it happened, and like I said, this is about Gabby and her relationships with the women. Katherine, pardon me saying, is irrelevant to the overall show in comparison.

Same difference. The thing was a rehash. Was it an exact one, piece by piece? No but a rehash nonetheless. To say they are absolutely nothing alike is ignoring the basic premise of both. The main difference is one was a conclusion of a season long major storyline (not merely a subplot) which tied into the history of the women (not only Katherine) and the other is a springboard (presumably), but the premise of the setup and how things went down was still very much similar

    • I'm curious the motivation for keeping Bela on beyond the circus story arc.  Did he play a character like his character on EON, or was he more of a good guy? I know he ended up with Sunny at the end of the series, but I always thought that Sunny/Hogan could have been revived once the lack of chemistry between him and the NuLiza became apparent.   Actually... the NuLiza (Louan Gideon) reminded me more of Sunny than she did Liza as played by Sherry... and she just threw off the whole vibe of the show. I see Estelle has just arrived in the late October 1985 episodes, which only means that Wendy and Stephanie are soon on their way out.   It also appears that the Sarah/Quinn/Wendy triangle was set up by Mayer.. and it looks as though Tomlin is going to deactivate it by the introduction of Colleen Dion's character.   I don't understand why no one on the show thought to look at Quinn and realize that he was the problem and write him out.

    • I kind of assume they're toning down Rachel's bad seed tendencies a bit to make it less obvious if they're going for her as the shooter. At least that's what I hope they're doing - I've really enjoyed Rachel being a bratty evil DiMera princess and Marlena finally getting a grandchild she deserves.

. This show is so stupid. Sonny killed an FBI agent less than a year ago by shooting him at point blank range. But the new short bald man is much much worse cause he was a bad guy in some part of Africa and managed to not kill Lucky, Isaiah, Jason, or Anna. This show is crippled by the mob all these years after Guza has been long gone.    Laura is literally saying oooo but Sonny is a good mobster for Port Charles. Give me a [!@#$%^&*].ing break. Sometimes I don’t know why I watch this joke of a show.
    • With all the changes Sunny was one of the longest running characters by that time.  She had never been married and had heaps of story potential. I can see America getting with SFT -you know 'the circus soap'. Smart move because circuses were all the rage with the kids in the 80's. Maybe Stu and Jo could have bought the circus.
    • It is actually pathetic, that Victor’s 50 year old children are still written as scared of this man that has to sit in every scene. I get it, EB has been on the show for almost 50 years, but I don’t care. He’s a man in his 80’s and should not be the damn lead and driving force because you don’t want to upset Eric Braeden ‘s fragile ego that only exists because the writers have cowtowed to this man for so long.
    • PREACH Victor being written as he was 20 years ago to support EB's ego or some misguided belief that what worked decades ago is still relevant is destroying the show. Victor comes off as a rambling old fool holding on to vendettas and a desperate need for perceived power. His children still cow-towing to him makes them look equally foolish. If the writing portrayed Victor as  more of an irritant to them then maybe it would work.
    • They desperately need another meeting spot that isn’t Orphy Genes or the Country club. Y&R is awful now but there’s at least GCAC, Crimson Lights, Society, and the Jazz room at GCAC to meet at. 4 places is definitely better than 2 and I can’t imagine these rich folks literally only eat at their damn country club.
    • I support all of this. 80 year old Victor reading lines off the table or teleprompter until it’s time to yell at someone and still being the main man driving story on the show is absolutely ridiculous to me and one of the biggest issues with the show. I respect Braeden for wanting to keep working in his old age is great and all, but WHY IS HE THE LEAD?
