Ever since JER left DAYS, its been really good, slow but good. DAYS has return into a soap opera, not a cheesy low buget carton! Beth has done a really good job in having people interacting with each other, the music is good, and the acting has gottin alot of better! I loved how thing are also being resolved much more faster to, things aren't being dragged out!

I completely agree. DAYS has been on fire for the past month and even more so this past week.

I just love DAYS now! :D

I definitely agree. Days has seemed more like the star soap it was in the past and seeing the vets at their best is a huge plus. So far the writing has been moving the storylines in a forward path with a definite resolution at the end and that is a tremendous plus. I'm so happy and excited and thankful for the new changes.

To add something besides what you guys mentioned... less flashbacks. Wohoo!

IA.

I don't think we can use the word "less" anymore. It should be more like no flashbacks. Y&R is having more flashbacks then DAYS these days! :o:)

DAYS is leaps and bounds better now and I loved the conversation Marlena & Sami had yesterday, the one where Sami mentions how men always have fought for Marlena, Carrie, and Belle, but never Sami. Good stuff. Goodbye and good riddance, Reilly. Your second tenure sucked donkey balls :)

You can put me on the Days is awesome bandwagon too. I always have loved the show but now it is justified. I never thought it could be this good. IT IS AMAZING RIGHT NOW!!!

Just everything about it is worlds better. I am so proud of them for what they are doing. Keep it up Days!!!

Seeing how great the show is now, really makes myself and i'm sure others realize just how bad JER had the made the show..Storylines are actually moving forward, the dialouge is no longer repeative, different characters are interacting, family members are finally sharing scenes together (Marlena/Sami, Marlena/Carrie), the writing has just been incredible, the actors are finally waking up and giving great performances (i'm sure they are loving the writing as well)..there are no flashbacks...

and now with Hogan coming on there is so much to look forward to. I'm loving that fans are generally very happy with the show now..Its great seeing the writing, actors, and show getting so much praise..And i'm sure that will continue with Hogan..and i love that old fans are returning to the show they used to love...Also seeing Days in the #3 spot in the ratings for 7 consecutive weeks (a record they just tied from 2002) is awesome..

Happy Days are here again..

HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! :D

The show is just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G right now!

I agree with everything you said, Kev.

So far, it's been an almost legendary turn-around.

I can actually sense fans yelling at their television screens "Get the hell away from him, Samantha! Pick up the damn note!" :D And, what is most refreshing, is that every single actor and actress have responded to the changes. They now seem to really enjoy coming to work and doing the job. Their performances are off the scale. The constant conversations about the DiMeras, and the destruction they have caused, has revitalized that family with only one of them, Alexandra, actually living in Salem. You can feel the tension and danger in every scene. It's salmost like a pall has been cast over Salem, and no one knows what to do to stop it.

And.....it's much more fun praising a show that you love than it was bashing it. It killed me to turn away from this once fine drama, because JER decided that his garbage was more important than writing great stories. His work this second was few and far between. All the damn flasbacks. What was all that about? How can you have a damn flashback two minutes after the scene aired. Everyone talking to themselves at every turn, like the were nuts. Bad production values, and the music? Horrible. All this has changed in a short three weeks. The best thing is that both the quads have gotten their airtime cut so the vets can really shine and do their thing. Which is what many fans have wanted to see happen for years. A shame it took near cancellation for it to happen.

Let's all of us jump on that huge Days Of Our Lives Cloud and fly that thing to the Number One spot in the ratings! This is going to be one hell of a fall season! :D

I don't think I've been enjoying Days this much in...oh...say 15 years.

I have to agree that DAYS is the best its been in years. And what's most exciting is that things are really going to get better in October when Hogan's material begins to air.

Could it even get better? The stuff we're seeing right now and are about to see is top-notch. I can't believe it'll be even better.

I'm glad Hogan is on the way to our show DAYS.I saw Hogan's work on Atwt and it was impressive to me.With the ideas Sheffer has for the show I'm loving it so far and that stuff hasn't aired yet.We can be rest assured the cast is taping his material as we speak. In the September 12 issue of SOD,Hogan doesn't plan on bringing new families and he's planning on using the families that are in place.Introducing a new family is not always a hit.Look what happened with the Rappaport invasion on One Life to Live leaving Lindsay as the sole member and reminder of that era.Maybe Hogan she bring on Catherine Hickland as the new Kimberly Brady Donovan if Patsy Pease is unable to return to the role.Hogan brought back old characters even though they were recasts.Example:Mary Beth Evans was dynamic on ATWT as Sierra Estaban we appeared as a recurring player.I expect DAYS to be the comeback kid like ATWT was when Hogan help breathe life back into the show.Hogan also said he would tell a story but yet keep it at the emotional core.I'm glad Sheffer said that because I think DAYs viewers have had enough of the very slow pace and very reptitive dialogue that Reilly overdos for almost every occasion. At least with Hogan we won't have days that last from 25 to 30 episodes.Maybe the episodes will only last 3 episodes and change days.
