  1. Yup. I mean that's the kind of gist of it isn't it? There doesn't seem to be any conflict here, which is Soap 101. Now I worry about what you said - both will become pregnant.
  2. Considering the third season bible supposedly contained zombies it seems like they were going all in on the supernatural, perhaps hoping to attract Dark Shadows viewers since it was finding a renewed popularity in syndication at that time.
  3. They need to hurry up Chad/Stephanie so that Abby can show up with a baby in tow to their wedding.
  4. It's just DAYS continuing to be screwy about ages - how old is Jennifer supposed to be? 50+ at least? And Mike is older than that... so yeah, she would've had Mike at 18. And I think they kept the 1992 birthdate for Abigail, so she was in her early 40s when Abigail was born.
  5. I always thought Steve Wilder looked a bit "too" perfect and like a human Ken Doll.
  6. Sorry, I saw it posted on a ratings website and while the name looked vaguely familiar I actually didn't connect with where I'd heard it from until @Errol's post. I wasn't on here during the time that person was a subject on this website, so I've only heard things about it third hand, which is why I didn't connect the dots.
  7. So disappointed that Ron couldn't even squeeze in a reference about Mike visiting the grave of the love of his life - Margo! 😂
  8. It should be noted that since Drew Barrymore's show is divided in two in a lot of markets these days, her ratings are combined from two airings; so it's hard to gauge how well she's truly doing.
  9. Twenty-four hours never seemed so far away Feels like a lifetime ago Twenty-four hours, so little did I know Twenty-four hours ago
  10. It hasn't been announced - Corday just commented that being on Peacock they don't have to worry about episode length. But at the same time, they still sell the show to syndication in other countries. So they'll still have to take that into consideration when cutting the episodes.
  11. I'll admit I first dismissed it as a former teen pop star trying to get "cool" house/dance cred with the popular gays, but the album just keeps gathering momentum for me. I might have to go down and buy the vinyl at this point! Here Comes the Night live at the Swedish Grammy's is something special: This is currently gathering airplay on my local radio station:
  12. Moonlighting definitively had its own audience when you look at its ratings - it's just that it fell apart backstage and then came Roseanne and eclipsed it. http://tvtango.com/series/moonlighting/episodes Click on the links during the first few seasons and you can see it clearly grew out of its lead-ins during the first few seasons... then Roseanne happened, but it doesn't mean Moonlighting didn't have any hype at the start.
  13. I like how Stephanie is a SERIOUS BUSINESS WOMAN doing SERIOUS BUSINESS WOMAN STUFF hence she doesn't have time for Alex because she's stuck doing SERIOUS BUSINESS WOMAN THINGS like riffling through a bunch of papers and looking busy. DAYS is really good at writing business stories and defining careers.
  14. Abby was just very respectful not to misgender her murderer! Very polite lady, she was.
  15. I'm so behind on my DAYS watching that I'm just after Sami's disaster wedding #342 and the introduction of Jada - of course, it's a bit stilted that female black lead cop character leaves and in comes another female black cop lead, but she's alright so far.
  16. Weird that Cady of all people would be the one to drop this though - I wonder if it means that they're indeed taking inventory of the episodes they do have? Why else would she of all people suddenly know this if there's no talk about it backstage?
  17. Maybe I just know too many based gays who love Nina van Horn.
  18. Don't get me wrong - both Mad About You and Just Shoot Me were never huge hits on their own and ended up crashing hard when they tried to "revamp" the shows (because they didn't have a large enough following to sustain a backlash in the first place), but I get the feeling when people talk about those shows online they had their own specific followings unlike Caroline in the City and Suddenly Susan.
  19. Just Shoot Me mostly aired on Tuesdays in seasons 1-4 until it was moved to Thursdays in seasons 5-6. So it had survived on its own before it had its audience amplified by Friends - by the time it was moved back to Tuesdays the steam had just run out on the show. Agreed on Suddenly Susan and Caroline in the City though.
  20. There was definitively a reason why the Coach revival from a few years ago was scratched. I think there's also shows that did OK on their own and had a following, but whose audience were amplified by airing in certain time slots. Mad About You and Just Shoot Me I feel were two of those comedies that technically had their own followings, but also were kind of middling on their own. Maybe Coach fits more into that category.
  21. Apparently, being an underwear model is the main requirement to play Ben Weston.
  22. Not sure why anyone's looking at broadcast ratings when it was never what kept it alive in the first place... Meanwhile, it's #2 worldwide on Netflix, two days after release of season 5: https://flixpatrol.com/title/dynasty-2017/
  23. They should've re-cast him with a 35 year old hot hunk actor. It just doesn't feel like the Mike Horton we know when he's played by a guy in his 50s.
  24. Not surprised. No one in my (gay) circle seemed to watch this. Just reading the description it seems utterly unrelateable to me.
