  1. The way they were acting in the OC was beyond cavalier. Of course, it’s terrible for Shannon and her daughters and I wish them all a speedy recovery, but with the behaviour the OC women were flaunting, they had it coming. These shows should not be filming. If it is not safe enough to film a reunion in a studio they should not be proceeding in the middle of a pandemic in states like California and Texas that are Covid-19 hotspots.
  2. That's why Corday sued Sony - in an attempt to force their hand and actually do something to benefit DAYS. I agree with you wholeheartedly, I think DAYS would do well on Peacock. Sony has no role in B&B. That show is 100% owned by Bell-Phillip Television Productions Inc. It isn't NBC that controls the distribution of DAYS. Sony is the distributor, they market the show to all broadcasters - so it is ultimately Sony who negotiates with NBC for the broadcast rights to the show. Either Sony and NBC have got a deal with streaming, or the rights for streaming remain in limbo. If I were NBC, I'd be insisting on the DAYS episodes for Peacock. It really is a no-brainer.
  3. She did. That house, at the top of Cabrillo Drive in Beverly Hills, was once owned by Joan's friend Laurence Harvey, then Joan owned it for about 10 years, selling it in 1994 right before the Northridge Earthquake (the segment aired after she'd sold it, obviously taped months before), the house was later bought by one of the creators of Will & Grace, then Ellen DeGeneres, and it's current owner is Ryan Seacrest. Joan hasn't owned an actual house in LA since then. She rented in Sierra Towers from 1997 when she started on Pacific Palisades till 2002 when she married Percy and moved to New York. She later purchased in Sierra Towers in 2007 for $2.7 million, sold in Sierra Towers in 2017 for $4.5 million, and purchased her current Wilshire Corridor condo the same year for $2.1 million. This is a recent photo of Joan in said Wilshire Corridor condo to coincide with her appearance in The Originals Podcast for LA Magazine:
  4. Rinna wants to sue Bravo because of a Vanderpump Dogs spinoff? Wants to quit? Wants to burn her bridges? Call her bluff. She is all hat and no cattle.
  5. Agreed on both fronts - I will always resent the last few years of Jeanne's run on the show when they made Katherine this sage font of wisdom interested in business. Jill's mega-hat was everything.
  6. "Don't tempt me, Sheila. Please. Don't...tempt me." Darlene was one in a million and the heart and soul of B&B. The way Sally was written up till about 2004, by which point she'd endured a zillion losses and was just about exhausted from it all, was so complex. Sally Spectra had seen some sh*t in her day. When Sally told Sheila not to tempt her, for once, I believed someone could beat Sheila and was simply not afraid of her.
  7. Indeed - Jeanne definitely fits that description. It's her bone structure and complexion. The lucky thing for all of those who looked older, even when young, is that they also don't hit the same wall, or at least as hard, as those who age rapidly after a certain age.
  8. Jeanne would have turned 56 in 1984 (she was born in 1928). Jeanne looked far beyond her years and could have passed for 70+ when this was filmed. Lots of factors going on. Styling is a huge issue (think of how Jane Wyman looked in Falcon Crest) and it influences our perception, visually. There is also the cultural perception. In the 1980s, people in their 50s were considered 'old.' You figure the Golden Girls were all supposed to be in their 50s throughout the run of the series but would any of us think that Elizabeth Hurley was Golden Girls when she was in The Royals? Our perception of age has changed over time and much of the negative thinking around it has moved on to a more positive position. Nevertheless, Jeanne looked very rough for her age (only 5 years older than Joan Collins) and so much of that comes down to her sun damage, smoking, and alcohol. The facelift can only do so much when the skin is as damaged as hers was. You can see in the facelift footage that the lines around her mouth were intense. I also wouldn't say Jeanne got great mileage out of the facelift. Jeanne ended up having a deep chemical peel years later, which really did improve her skin. She did tweaks over the years and had a lower facelift right around 2007. As an aside, the doctor who actually did Jeanne's facelift was Victoria Principal's former husband, Dr. Harry Glassman. It's his hands that undid the bandages while the actor playing her doctor spoke.
  9. The way she looked in her Covid-19 isolation interviews was just too flattering to be anything other than First Class, A+, Top of the Line, Best in Class, good old fashioned plastic surgery.
  10. RHONY Sonja has proclaimed that she's had a (fabulous) facelift: https://people.com/style/sonja-morgan-reveals-she-got-a-lower-face-lift-and-neck-lift-i-needed-a-pick-me-up/
  11. Like a cadaver of a dictator preserved in wax...
  12. The bold is exactly what's happened. Brandi lied and Denise would not allow Brandi's lies to be broadcast so she threatened Bravo citing the fact that what Brandi said on camera as truth is, in fact, a lie. I hope Garcelle and Denise dragged Rinna, Erika and The Boring One for filth. Especially Rinna. She has been a despicable 'friend'.
  13. So satisfying that LVP has yet another spinoff in the NBC/Universal family. Now I definitely see that the break was not Covid-19 related and that they needed to film new pickups to account for the change in story direction. But I'd like to point out that Cease and Desist letters don't always work...but when they do work, can anyone guess why? It's likely because there is a serious issue with an allegation that makes it impossible or difficult to prove as fact, which means from a legal standpoint you don't have a defense...which means that if Denise were to sue, she'd win. And it seems Bravo realizes that she's "F--king Denise Richards, Kyle" and that means she was not going to get someone's gossip or lies take her down. It's very rich of Rinna to take such exception to all of this and her anger at not being able to run her mouth without impunity is satisfying.
  14. I'm looking forward to Katherine's facelift - that's a legendary one.
  15. Such a great episode!
  16. LVP has given free meals to the homeless in Los Angeles for 13 years every Monday when Villa Blanca would prepare food that was delivered to a local church for distribution. That photo appears to be of LVP at a food bank. That is who she is. Meanwhile, Kyle, the miserable bitch who needs to throw a 6 figure party to bask in the "love" of people who think of her as Kathy Hilton's sister who lives in The Valley to raise money for the hospital that treated her husband whose apparently cheating on her left and right, like a dog who needs a lamp post to piss on.
  17. +1 to all of this. Camille's talking head interview looked SO superior to any other Covid-19 era talking head shot at home. It was startling how much more it looked like a properly produced interview. People forget that Camille helped run Kelsey Grammer's production company - she's a smart lady and probably knows a lot about the technical side of the business that an airhead like Kyle wouldn't have picked up on set while worrying about her bangs. I am so glad Camille came out swinging and didn't let Rinna get away with that crap about Twitter. Rinna is a typical bully - she crumbles when people fight back hard against her. She also came across terribly at the dinner with Denise. Denise was being dead serious when she was talking about Rinna not having her kids' back. That was a real moment and Rinna blew it for cheap ratings. Way to throw away a 20+ year friendship.
  18. Hopefully, it is. The issue is that they now need to determine how long the antibody response lasts thanks to the vaccine. What is troubling is that in people who have had Covid-19, the antibodies their body generates do not appear to last long based on current studies to date.
  19. WHOA! Shots fired by Leah and Elyse! Watch out, Ramona, these two are not going to cower to her.
  20. LVP confirms Villa Blanca is closing its doors, but cites the fact that her $80,000 a month lease on the property is ending imminently and the landlord and the Vanderpump-Todds couldn't come to an agreement about its renewal: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-8511675/Lisa-Vanderpump-announces-beloved-Villa-Blanca-restaurant-closing-12-years.html
  21. I'm Team Denise all the way and if that means I'm Team Aaron, then so be it. Erika, Teddi, and Kyle are all so insufferable that I don't really care how much of a mansplainer Aaron is. Someone has to defend Denise from those harpies. I was hoping that the photo was of Victoria...but I've analyzed it carefully and it's 100% Lu and is therefore hilarious.
  22. The Glo by Jabot storyline was the best teen storyline I've seen on a soap because it was multi-generational. Jill, Jack, Phyllis, and Katherine all had good roles - it proved that shows could chase the 'youth demo' but involve everyone. I just loved Jill during this period of time. She was always on a tear about Mac and it was entertaining as hell. You could see that Jill was totally insecure as a mother but she was totally secure in her hatred of Mac. The chemistry that was struck between Jess Walton and Ashley Bashioum was just excellent. I want a Best of Jill or Best of Kay vs. Jill week so badly.
  23. Agree with all of this - especially Vyle. I absolutely loathed the way she behaved at the doctor's office - that whiny illogical behaviour is textbook "Family Member From Hell" in the medical world. +1 to ALL of this. It means nothing. It's a throwaway line that the ladies say to try and sound reasonable when they are being utterly ridiculous.
  24. Kym Douglas is correct. I always felt there was something so sadistic about killing John Abbott a year after Bill Bell died - it was like Bill's avatar, Bill's link to the show, had to go. And then she went and killed off Brad and Colleen too...
