  1. RHONY Ramona was unbearable last night. It's interesting that Eboni said "Sonja gets it, Luann gets it, how does Ramona not get it?" - I wonder if reports about Eboni vs Lu are true or whether it's all a red herring? When Sonja exploded at Ramona I heard an edge to her voice that I had not heard before. She was absolutely furious with Ramona. Sitting silently was, again, a very good look on Luann. WTF is the point of Leah? Did we really need to see any scenes of her talking about spending $60,000.00 on school for her kid?
  2. Yes, that is the consensus with everyone I know who is informed, including a family member who did 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan.
  3. Per Variety, Bravo had filmed some test footage and then decided to step away: Though Bravo had filmed some test footage with Moon, cast member D’Andra Simmons, and three other women whose names have been reported by the various “Real Houswives” fan accounts, the network has decided to step away for now. 4. BREAKING RHOD News... Real Housewives of Dallas is *NOT* returning to Bravo in 2022: https://www.eonline.com/ca/news/1299227/the-real-housewives-of-dallas-is-not-returning-to-bravo-in-2022
  5. Dominic West isn't the best physical casting for the part, but the man certainly knows how to have an affair (allegedly!) so his method acting will come in handy. Elizabeth Debicki is excellent physical casting, just as Emma Corrin was. No production has ever succeeded in casting Diana, but The Crown has managed it.
  6. That was the genius of Joan. She played Alexis so menacingly. She was dangerous. And yet, she had such charisma, audiences loved to watch her. This is one of my favourite scenes of hers. I've always wondered what episode Joan submitted when she was nominated for the Emmy. I only wish she'd submitted this one, it shows her at her best:
  7. Carrie Ann Inaba is not returning and CBS wants to replace her with another male host: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-9898577/Carrie-Ann-Iniba-not-returning-host-Talk-producers-want-replace-man.html
  8. It would be a tragedy to lose Luann. An absolute tragedy. Bravo should think long and hard about that if it's being contemplated. I totally agree with you that next season of RHONY doesn't need any subtractions, aside from Leah, it needs additions of the old guard. That last scene with Wendy and Karen was moving. Karen was so uplifting, gentle, and wise with Wendy. And she was hilarious. And most importantly, real. I am enjoying how Askale got the ball rolling against Gizelle and her hypocritical ass at the dinner table as she sat in judgment of every one of their lives while refusing to provide any information about her own. And Robyn, sweetie, focus on your son's 48% in English instead of Wendy's rack.
  9. RHONY Obviously, this season really sucks and this particular episode felt like a rock bottom of sorts. Ramona was just insane at that dinner and I felt for the three guests who sat there in disbelief. I really felt for the woman who was pregnant because she didn't have the ability to throw one back like the gentleman did. Leah is not much better than Ramona though. She was so obnoxious being on Zoom and asking to be moved around. She's lucky her singing that prayer moved Sonja, it was her sole redeeming moment. Sonja shined at both the dinner, "She's converting, we're learning," and the blind date where she was calm and charming and looked a million bucks. Luann sat there silently. That was the absolute smartest thing she's done all season. Eboni is a chore to watch and this storyline with her father bores me and feels like it was plucked out of thin air for TV. She's in her late 30s...if finding her father was of high importance wouldn't she have done it years ago? THE FUTURE OF RHONY I agree that between her appearance on WWHL and Danny Pellegrino's podcast that it feels like Dorinda is well on her way to returning. That is a very good thing. They need her warmth and charisma and emotion badly. They need to fire Leah so fast her head will spin. She rings so rehearsed and produced and she doesn't have chemistry with anyone, including Eboni who I feel turns to Leah because she's closest in age, but they are only allies, not friends. Leah has nothing going on either professionally or with the rest of the cast, which is why she films with her family. Bethenny has crashed and burned at HBOMax and I would like to hope she'd return a little humbled...wishful thinking I'm sure but she would bring a lot to a new season of RHONY and I think with returns from Ramona, Sonja, Luann, Dorinda, Eboni, and Bershan...it would be a great season.
  10. I am solidly Team Marge. It isn't that I don't enjoy Jennifer, but I enjoy Marge more and to me she's let it all hang out in a way that Jennifer has not. Few housewives admit to getting sued and losing for nearly a million dollars - Marge made it part of her storyline. Looking on Instagram, there's a post floating around saying Bill has had a longstanding affair with his Skinceuticals representative and that Jennifer has looked the other way. They've also questioned why Bill would be gone at such weird hours - like how he can manage to schedule elective surgical time to the point he doesn't see his wife for a few days in a row?
  11. Perfect response. I want Cady McClain back.
  12. Love Garcelle and Sutton!
  13. The Daily Mail has written a thorough takedown piece on Eboni K. Williams: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9856249/RHONY-Eboni-Williamss-rift-stars-deepens-filming-postponed-indefinitely.html
  14. [!@#$%^&*] Erika! What a nasty bitch. How dare she speak to Garcelle like that when Erika made that admission about Tom contacting her on camera in the same episode on the same day of filming.
  15. Absolute perfection in a post, @Cat and I love every word. But the part I have bolded, italicized, and underlined, is what I must applaud you for the loudest. Ramona grilled Gaurav without breaking a sweat. She was running circles around his bullsh*t and Sonja was very wise to seek her out. Ramona is not a slouch when it comes to business and she can spot a bad deal a mile off. Sonja really needs to end this venture unless she starts seeing a regular income. Like Ramona said, even $5,000 a month would be something. Leah's brother is a fashion model, btw. A legit Givenchy runway model.
  16. For sure. I think it's clear Gizelle's daughter's are her priority in terms of monetary issues. This as well. This will be quite embarrassing for her because she aligned herself with Jamal too strongly. The problem with Gizelle's storyline is that it doesn't ring true. I'd have way more respect for her if she called a spade a spade with her romantic relationships rather than trying to justify them.
  17. Eileen appearing, Austin Peck and Christie Clark appearing, and now this inspired recast with Zach Tinker? This show has so much potential. Tinker, in particular, was done so wrong at Y&R. He is talented and is going to succeed with this role. He comes from real Hollywood pedigree - his step-grandmother was Mary Tyler Moore for goodness sake!
  18. As if we all didn't think that his purchase of that "Rest-Ah-Rhant" Arizona's wasn't some kind of dubious tax dodge that he'd hope to sell for a loss to balance out his tax debts? Gizelle will *not* be happy about this. Hopefully whatever divorce settlement she got from him was upfront and lump sum. RHONJ is such a brilliant franchise. That is some serious juicy scoop (copyright Heather McDonald). Here's the thing, is it terrible that Marge brought this up? Yes. But is it also terrible that Jennifer slammed Marge over and over and over again about having an affair when, it appears, her own husband did the same thing and she forgave him and moved past it? Yes. This is an argument rooted in reality and shades of grey - it has the makings of another epic season.
  19. I’ve talked about this with several friends who watch Selling Sunset. They look super loved up - I think we will see them get married. Whether it lasts is anyone’s guess but last lesson he leaped to her defence when that awful Davina made her cry.
  20. Family Karma was SO good this season. Well worth a watch and the season flies by.
  21. LOL For God and the Empire...
  22. That is really encouraging news and goes to show that there is someone at DAYS/NBC who has some vision for how the business model can evolve.
  23. I got psycho ex-girlfriend vibes - it’s been a year and a half and he’s only starting to accept it now by proclaiming that he’s already decided he doesn’t want them back even though they haven’t asked him…
  24. POTOMAC Wendy is making an ass of herself this season. Where did her Doctor Wendy persona go? This Zen Wen is an unfortunate caricature... Gizelle is bitter and it's not wearing well on her. The way she bolted from the spa party spoke volumes. Candiace also remains bitter and her inability to move on with Karen is going to hurt her in the long run when Gizelle turns on her. And trust, that moment is coming. That Candiace cannot appreciate the difficulty of Karen being caught in the middle between her and Monique shows how immature she is. Robyn = snoreworthy. I wish her well with the hats though, the lining is a good idea. Ashley glows with pregnancy and she is fit to burst! Mia I still don't have a solid read on but I'm glad she admitted to being a stripper because denying it would have dogged her all season long so she was smart to nip it in the bud. Karen remains an easy, breezy person to watch. I loved the lines about Gizelle not being a good wig wearer and that Satan was hosting the spa party. BEVERLY HILLS This season is firing on all cylinders for me and it's all down to watching the implosion of Erika. The preposterous story of Tom rolling down a hill after driving off a cliff behind their house (their house is on Los Altos Drive in Pasadena and there is no street with multiple switchbacks behind their house...) had everyone confused because it made absolutely no sense. As we've said several times, there is a possibility that Erika didn't know (I don't believe that, given the $20 million transfer to her company by Tom)...but even if that's the case, the callousness and the way she has resisted every attempt to provide frank disclosure and hand over assets that appear to be funded off of ill gotten gains is appalling. It's also Lisa Rinna's best season in years. We see much of the Rinna that we found enjoyable. Kathy, of course, remains so odd and hilarious. Sweeping up broken glass with a BBQ brush? It's like performance art. Dorit and PK are back into mega debt, owing $1.3 million in taxes: https://pagesix.com/2021/07/22/dorit-and-pk-kemsley-owe-1-3-million-in-unpaid-taxes-report/ NEW YORK CITY Yes, this is easily RHONY's worst season and most of that comes down to Covid and the inability to film the show as it normally would be. This episode was the best of the season as the seance continued and we got a glimpse into Sonja's family life. I do believe that recasting this season by dumping Ramona and/or Luann would be a big, huge, fatal mistake. Neither of them is the problem with this season. The cast is too small and there is too much of a divide with Leah and the rest of the cast - she sticks out like a sore thumb. I think they should keep Eboni and Bershan. I think with a season under their belts, and Sonja's burgeoning friendship with Eboni, there will be more of a natural relationship. They also desperately need to bring back Dorinda and Bethenny.
  25. The angry defiance of these gentleman is indicative of how Americans have become politicized about vaccination, when the truth it is he least political issue there could be: it is a public health and safety crisis. Trump's devotees are the strangest to me. Trump and Melania got the vaccine themselves before they left the White House.
