  1. She most certainly was. She is booked and busy. She’s the narrator on Hulu’s ‘How I Met Your Father,’ has been filming a recurring role on Peacock’s ‘Queer as Folk’ reboot and she’s just finished shooting the Sebastian Maniscalco comedy ‘About My Father’ starring Robert DeNiro.
  2. The interesting thing is since DAYS Krista has done many things in the industry, including standup comedy, so she's approaching her return with a sense of humour rarely seen in actors. She's hashtagging #PartyCity about the wig. And then she reposted this gem:
  3. Krista has posted the following online: “We know the wig ain’t it. We’re getting rid of it.”
  4. ULTIMATE GIRLS TRIP I loved the theme song too. I think you could tell who the editors liked based on the opening shots, some were far more flattering than others. I ended up watching Ultimate Girls Trip over a few days and loved it. What a fun show. Like you, I was surprised how much Teresa won me over - underneath the tough, ignorant exterior is a very uncomplicated, nice woman. She just doesn't tolerate what she perceives to be any disloyalty or drama. It seems she's really been through the wringer and is just trying to make the best life for herself. I also understand how Kyle can be fun - I'd never seen it on RHOBH but she laughs so easily and sees a lot of fun in situations. However, she and Melissa share an untrustworthy, high school mean girl edge, that I can't get past. Cynthia and Luann being friends IRL now makes sense to me. Cynthia is a worldly person, as is Luann, and both are very measured in their reactions to things. They're overall very reasonable. Like attracts like, I suppose. I don't leave this show with a different opinion of either Kenya or Ramona. Ramona is a bull in a china shop whose got some wild mood swings with a mouth to match. She can be horrible and also vulnerable. Kenya is a strong person, but also cruel with her treatment of Cynthia. MELBOURNE Get into it @Cat it's a 10 episode season that has an arc with a beginning, middle, and end.
  5. RH of Melbourne The season just finished airing. It’s available on Hayu outside of the USA. The season really missed Gin(er) and Lydiot, but Janet cemented herself as a take no prisoners Queen who battled against a few very determined newbies hell bent on trying to gaslight the audience against her. Janet triumphed. Jackie and Gamble were back and totally hilarious in their support of her. If you have access, give this season a watch, it was fun!
  6. They need to write in a scene where Taylor rips off her wig a la Kimberly on Melrose Place.
  7. RHOC This franchise is back. The Dubrows have elevated this franchise, yet again, and thank goodness for them. The way they masterfully handled the Nicole lawsuit issue should be recorded in the PR history books. That was a power move of epic proportions. Shannon looks like a bloated alcoholic who is an emotional black hole. She sucks in anyone who gets too close to her. Noella should be very afraid but she doesn't strike me as a bright enough bulb to see what's going on. Gina - the glow up is real. She is looking fabulous and her joyful attitude in Heather's mansion was lovely. Emily's facelift looks incredible. She did turn into She-Hulk when she felt slighted by Nicole though. Shane should live in fear. I think I like Dr. Jen. She seems smart. RHSLC These ladies understood the assignment for season 2 and are really bringing it. They don't even need Jen Shah's arrest to be compelling...which given the guilty pleas by all of Jen's associates is a good thing, because she's going down, hard. I continue to love Heather. I loved when she decided she was leaving that house and not boarding that plane and Whitney instantly said let's get the hell out of here. Love that solidarity. However, her loyalty to Jen is misplaced. Not asking questions when someone gets a divorce is very different from when someone is facing heavy criminal charges. But that's Heather's heart, I don't think she'd be able to change it. Lisa is a mess. She is no one's friend. Meredith's loyalty to Mary seems odd to me. Mary is insane and that soul of hers is very dark. That comment she made about Mexican people was outrageous and totally racist. Jenny's daughter is so adorable.
  8. Somewhere, I know Kim Cattrall is sipping a beautiful glass of wine, safe in the knowledge that not returning was the wise choice. The way they wrote out Samantha wreaked of a veiled dig at Cattrall by Parker.
  9. That’s fair. Merkerson is a wonderful actress and I’m glad she’s with the Chicago franchise and enjoying herself. The Mannheim casting is excellent. She will be wonderful in that role.
  10. She was always fun when she appeared on Larry King Live dishing about old Hollywood. She was a good friend of Dame Joan Collins, who posted this tribute. 96 is quite a fabulous run.
  11. I am one of those people. I find Dr. Ding's tone unhelpful.
  12. I don't believe Mamie returned when John Abbott died either - a big missed opportunity to have the rightful Mrs. Abbott (Mamie) plot to take down the new Mrs. Abbott (Gloria) with the help of her nemesis, the former Mrs. Abbott (Jill). Dru's death, Olivia and Malcolm's exit, Neil's death. Several Abbott family weddings. That is one character that could have had multiple return opportunities, but for whatever reason, did not, to the absolute detriment of the show.
  13. It must be so awkward for Shannon to be in Heather's palatial home when, last time they tangled, Shannon had one of her own. Shannon must feel like poor white trash living in her rented house in Newport by comparison... She looks exhausted.
  14. I cannot imagine what Jen Shah's lawyers were thinking allowing her to be filmed in their office and then to continue with the show and post on social media. She appears guilty as sin and if so has targeted vulnerable and elderly people and defrauded them out of money they could ill afford to lose. The difference between the alleged crime of Jen Shah and the convicted crime of Teresa Giudice is 1) Teresa didn't mastermind anything, she can hardly pronounce the word; and 2) it had the appearance of a 'victimless crime' because it was a tax and a fraudulent mortgage issue that the banks and the government, eventually, got fully compensated for. The alleged victims of Jen Shah are not going to be made whole - there is a reason she does not own any real estate: it could all be seized and sold. No, you can bet Jen Shah has sent that money bouncing between so many foreign jurisdictions nobody will be able to find it. She would be very unwise to proceed to trial. She should be instructing her lawyers to negotiate a plea bargain, if the prosecution is even interested in doing so.
  15. I’m hoping 9-12. The fraud she committed against vulnerable people is so mean and evil, the book needs to be thrown at her.
  16. She sure is and she deserves every moment of jail time she gets.
  17. There she is! Yes, that’s the other side of Kathy that we’ve seen glimpses of in the early seasons when she’d be in a scene with Kim, barely tolerating Kyle.
  18. POTOMAC Team Wendy. Gizelle and Robyn could not defend how they spoke about her plastic surgery and marriage and she did not let them get away with it. Ashley is a formidable opponent and Candy-Ass is a fool for tangling with her. Ashley stays very focused in an argument and doesn't deflect. I really do need Candy-Ass to go. She is a perpetual victim, crying and wailing about colourism and whatever other sh*t she can throw at a wall to deflect from her own abhorrent behaviour. Andy tried to make a conflict happen with Wendy, Karen, and/or Mia with the candle, but none of them took that bait and stayed classy with the 'there is room at the table for everyone' line. He really does want to tear these women down. SALT LAKE CITY I wasn't prepared for how good this episode was. This cracks the Top 10 Best Housewives episodes for me. I could not miss a second of it. Whitney was Legally Blond. She explained everything so clearly and had a firm grasp of what was unfolding and what Jen Shah may have done. She really impressed me. She was able to comfort others, deploy logic, and keep her finger on the pulse of what was happening. Jennie was kind of hilarious sitting in the back of the limo bus swigging her drink with nary a care in the world, coldly saying that the Feds would be 'taking everything' from Jen Shah's house. And BOOM, it happened. Lisa Barlow was very interesting to watch. The moment the sh*t hit the fan her conflicts with Whitney and Heather disappeared. As @Cat said prophetically last week, it's like once the real drama emerged, she gave up on her scripted conflict with Weather. Mary reminds me of Wendy Williams sometimes. She is an oddball. Her reaction to Jen Shah being flagged at Louis Vuitton was incredible. Heather was going through an avalanche of emotions this episode. When she started to cry when the news story broke, it was clear just how devastated she was. Her heart was broken as her worst fears were confirmed. And then she was hilarious explaining her knowledge of money laundering from watching Ozark ("construction is a black hole, and strip joints are a real humdinger!") and entering the ski house "It's the Feds!" Meredith is a smooth operator. She luxuriated in that bathtub and I think she had a tiny inkling of what was to come for Jen Shah. Then that shop lifting information and the video? Good lord. Meredith is coming in hot with the receipts and we haven't even scratched the surface.
  19. Lauren Koslow reliably generates chemistry with everyone she shares a scene with. DAYS, B&B, and Y&R have all utilized that - she can be dropped into any storyline, or any pairing, and make it work. Michael Nader - tremendous chemistry on AMC and Dynasty.
  20. I would love that season for All-Stars. The Grande Dame with LVP, Camille, and Bethenny?! I couldn't care less about Lisa Barlow and Kelly Dodd...but the first four? Perfection. @Cat I want to see Dorinda return and I think the show needs her. I heard the same as @alwaysAMC about the show taking a full year off with a return in 2023...honestly they'd be smart to do that. Covid-19 hurt RHONY the most because it is the only show set in an area where the cast live in apartments and rarely entertain in their homes: restaurants are relied upon way more than the other franchises.
  21. Lying came so easy to Jen - that’s the real her. Very calm and cold and controlled. OMG Lu. That is so embarrassingly terrible and her singing voice is comically atrocious. Sonja sounded the best. Leah’s invented scenes about wanting a contract in case the song makes money…she has nothing to worry about. This song is a bomb.
  22. Yes, on another show a character like Maggie wouldn’t have survived the mid 80s…but Ken Corday’s show isn’t quite like the rest and the canvas has the vets to prove it. By all accounts Suzanne is a very nice person and totally professional. It’s easier to keep a kind person on the canvas.
  23. I always felt that John Abbott and Bill Bell were two sides of the same coin: strong family patriarchs beloved by their children. Jerry exuded a warmth and class that was special. His onscreen chemistry with all the actors who played his children, Jeanne Cooper, and of course Jess Walton was tremendous.
  24. The most thrilling moment of the 'Chance is Dead' storyline is in the Canadian November 8 / American November 9 episode there is a scene between Mariah, Devon, and Nina behind the Chancellor living room - finally I get to see what's behind the reconfigured doors. Spoiler alert: it's a hallway.
