  1. Jess Walton's husband, grief recovery expert John James, passed away August 10 after a terminal diagnosis of liver cancer a few months ago. The tribute to him is below: https://www.griefrecoverymethod.com/blog/2021/08/tribute-grief-recovery-method-founder-john-w-james?WickedSource=Twitter&WickedID=Twitter
  2. In Erika Is Legally Fu*ked News...
  3. RHOP Ashley showed up and understood the assignment, as the kids say. She stirred up that episode like a churn through butter. And as quick as she appeared she was gone. The episode itself was just a slow burn until the last 10 minutes and then it exploded. Wendy ripped Gizelle to shreds - she was boiling with anger. Drawing on the past, stating what everyone had said about her was true, saying that she doesn't even have a relationship to speak of...To say that the life Gizelle is living now is God's way of getting her back for all her bull$hit was an epic putdown of biblical proportions. Gizelle sat bewildered, failing to realize that she'd done a bad thing and of course Robyn has to inject herself into the conversation, a bit buzzed on all that whiskey. Candy-Ass was there with her folded napkin at the ready to scold Ashley, but I enjoyed that Ashley basically shrugged it off. Karen wisely sat this one out. Her facial expressions and eyes widening as Wendy unloaded on Gizelle was perfect. She knew Wendy was going there. I look forward to next week when Mia gets in the mix and throws Gizelle under the bus by exposing some more lies.
  4. Yep. Can you imagine spending $14,000,000.00 on American Express? And her lawyers are now trying to say that Erika isn't personally responsible for what EJ Global LLC did...except the law of unjust enrichment exists for this very reason. If Erika received any benefit from having those American Express bills paid, without a juristic reason for receiving that benefit, she owes that money back. Also, Tom has been disbarred: https://people.com/tv/tom-girardi-officially-disbarred-by-california-federal-court-state-disbarment-still-pending/
  5. Not sure if this has already been posted and I've just missed it...but the bankruptcy trustee's lawyer has determine how EJ Global LLC spent $25 million: $14,259,012.84 was charged to an American Express card. Her company also spent $1,532,774.88 at the McDonald Selznick Associates Agency — which describes itself as “the first agency dedicated to represent dancers and choreographers exclusively” — and another $1,417,587.50 on unknown purchases. Jayne’s company also allegedly gave Stephanie Shepherd — formerly Kim Kardashian’s executive assistant — $102,596.77 and Opus Beauty — an agency that represents “best and most influential and sought after artists in the business” $17,415 from her LLC. Mario Dedivanoic, better known as Makeup by Mario, received $1,000. E5 Global Media — who publishes Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter — received $8,480, while the Los Angeles Times Magazine was paid $10,400. Jayne, 50, through her company, also appears to have paid various public relations groups high sums of money from the account among other charges. 6. Bill Bell was EP on the creative side in that he approved absolutely everything. But there was always another EP who was in the studio on the floor dealing with direction, how scenes were going (back when they did multiple takes and rehearsals), sets, actors etc. That is the role that Morina has been in, and that David Shaughnessy and Ed Scott were both in for many years.
  7. That's my impression as well - is there any indication how many episodes are left in this awful season?
  8. Linda Dano, Ryan Paevy, and Jen Lilley star in the Hallmark movie 'A Little Daytime Drama' which airs this Saturday August 21: https://www.hallmarkchannel.com/a-little-daytime-drama
  9. RHONY Ramona was unbearable last night. It's interesting that Eboni said "Sonja gets it, Luann gets it, how does Ramona not get it?" - I wonder if reports about Eboni vs Lu are true or whether it's all a red herring? When Sonja exploded at Ramona I heard an edge to her voice that I had not heard before. She was absolutely furious with Ramona. Sitting silently was, again, a very good look on Luann. WTF is the point of Leah? Did we really need to see any scenes of her talking about spending $60,000.00 on school for her kid?
  10. Yes, that is the consensus with everyone I know who is informed, including a family member who did 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan.
  11. Per Variety, Bravo had filmed some test footage and then decided to step away: Though Bravo had filmed some test footage with Moon, cast member D’Andra Simmons, and three other women whose names have been reported by the various “Real Houswives” fan accounts, the network has decided to step away for now. 12. BREAKING RHOD News... Real Housewives of Dallas is *NOT* returning to Bravo in 2022: https://www.eonline.com/ca/news/1299227/the-real-housewives-of-dallas-is-not-returning-to-bravo-in-2022
  13. Dominic West isn't the best physical casting for the part, but the man certainly knows how to have an affair (allegedly!) so his method acting will come in handy. Elizabeth Debicki is excellent physical casting, just as Emma Corrin was. No production has ever succeeded in casting Diana, but The Crown has managed it.
  14. That was the genius of Joan. She played Alexis so menacingly. She was dangerous. And yet, she had such charisma, audiences loved to watch her. This is one of my favourite scenes of hers. I've always wondered what episode Joan submitted when she was nominated for the Emmy. I only wish she'd submitted this one, it shows her at her best:
  15. Carrie Ann Inaba is not returning and CBS wants to replace her with another male host: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-9898577/Carrie-Ann-Iniba-not-returning-host-Talk-producers-want-replace-man.html
  16. It would be a tragedy to lose Luann. An absolute tragedy. Bravo should think long and hard about that if it's being contemplated. I totally agree with you that next season of RHONY doesn't need any subtractions, aside from Leah, it needs additions of the old guard. That last scene with Wendy and Karen was moving. Karen was so uplifting, gentle, and wise with Wendy. And she was hilarious. And most importantly, real. I am enjoying how Askale got the ball rolling against Gizelle and her hypocritical ass at the dinner table as she sat in judgment of every one of their lives while refusing to provide any information about her own. And Robyn, sweetie, focus on your son's 48% in English instead of Wendy's rack.
  17. RHONY Obviously, this season really sucks and this particular episode felt like a rock bottom of sorts. Ramona was just insane at that dinner and I felt for the three guests who sat there in disbelief. I really felt for the woman who was pregnant because she didn't have the ability to throw one back like the gentleman did. Leah is not much better than Ramona though. She was so obnoxious being on Zoom and asking to be moved around. She's lucky her singing that prayer moved Sonja, it was her sole redeeming moment. Sonja shined at both the dinner, "She's converting, we're learning," and the blind date where she was calm and charming and looked a million bucks. Luann sat there silently. That was the absolute smartest thing she's done all season. Eboni is a chore to watch and this storyline with her father bores me and feels like it was plucked out of thin air for TV. She's in her late 30s...if finding her father was of high importance wouldn't she have done it years ago? THE FUTURE OF RHONY I agree that between her appearance on WWHL and Danny Pellegrino's podcast that it feels like Dorinda is well on her way to returning. That is a very good thing. They need her warmth and charisma and emotion badly. They need to fire Leah so fast her head will spin. She rings so rehearsed and produced and she doesn't have chemistry with anyone, including Eboni who I feel turns to Leah because she's closest in age, but they are only allies, not friends. Leah has nothing going on either professionally or with the rest of the cast, which is why she films with her family. Bethenny has crashed and burned at HBOMax and I would like to hope she'd return a little humbled...wishful thinking I'm sure but she would bring a lot to a new season of RHONY and I think with returns from Ramona, Sonja, Luann, Dorinda, Eboni, and Bershan...it would be a great season.
  18. I am solidly Team Marge. It isn't that I don't enjoy Jennifer, but I enjoy Marge more and to me she's let it all hang out in a way that Jennifer has not. Few housewives admit to getting sued and losing for nearly a million dollars - Marge made it part of her storyline. Looking on Instagram, there's a post floating around saying Bill has had a longstanding affair with his Skinceuticals representative and that Jennifer has looked the other way. They've also questioned why Bill would be gone at such weird hours - like how he can manage to schedule elective surgical time to the point he doesn't see his wife for a few days in a row?
  19. Perfect response. I want Cady McClain back.
  20. Love Garcelle and Sutton!
  21. The Daily Mail has written a thorough takedown piece on Eboni K. Williams: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9856249/RHONY-Eboni-Williamss-rift-stars-deepens-filming-postponed-indefinitely.html
  22. [!@#$%^&*] Erika! What a nasty bitch. How dare she speak to Garcelle like that when Erika made that admission about Tom contacting her on camera in the same episode on the same day of filming.
  23. Absolute perfection in a post, @Cat and I love every word. But the part I have bolded, italicized, and underlined, is what I must applaud you for the loudest. Ramona grilled Gaurav without breaking a sweat. She was running circles around his bullsh*t and Sonja was very wise to seek her out. Ramona is not a slouch when it comes to business and she can spot a bad deal a mile off. Sonja really needs to end this venture unless she starts seeing a regular income. Like Ramona said, even $5,000 a month would be something. Leah's brother is a fashion model, btw. A legit Givenchy runway model.
  24. For sure. I think it's clear Gizelle's daughter's are her priority in terms of monetary issues. This as well. This will be quite embarrassing for her because she aligned herself with Jamal too strongly. The problem with Gizelle's storyline is that it doesn't ring true. I'd have way more respect for her if she called a spade a spade with her romantic relationships rather than trying to justify them.
