  1. Ryder was just another in the revolving door of characters in those years. Why Carl, would you think killing him off made a difference? What is it with the name Ryder? SFT,ATWT and Y&R have all used it ,but I have yet to come across anyone with that name. It doesn't hold any appeal to me,at least.
  2. Doug and Edy's wedding.
  3. Charles and Diana Lamont
  4. Pat,John and Lee Randolph.Susan Trustaman and Gaye Huston were the first to play Pat and Lee. They were replaced by Beverly Penberthy and Barabara Rodell.
  5. Looks like this poster on YouTube is going to be sharing some rare stuff. Chris & Snapper never divorced and Bill Bell managed to keep them in story for several years without resorting to the usual affair story.I always thought the Sheila story could have played with Snapper & Chris years before it actually happened but psycho type stories weren't a part of Y&R in those days, In the 80's Bell started telling different storie than previously.
  6. John Larkin looks like a cartoon come to life! Those granite features and sharp contours of his face. He died young (only 52) in 1965 .After leaving EON he had some primetime success before his death. The TV Radio Mirror seemed to report a lot on daytime and treat it seriously.
  7. Some cast and credits from 73 and 75. 8. Re flashbacks. i always wondered about that ie flashbacks when shows were live. Did they know ahead of time what scenes they would want to use and put them on tape ?(seems unlikely)
  9. I think that is Ronnie Talbot,Liz's brother= hence the faux British accent. The actor is Peter Stuart.
  10. No this was live. ATWT didn't go live to tape until 75.
  11. This would be late Nov/early Dec 72. Dan was shot by the distraught brother of a woman who died in surgery performed by Dan.
  12. Makes me think there is a lot of undiscovered stuff out there. ATWT,Secret Storm,AW and several others was shown in Australia in the 70's so those tapes might still exist.
  13. Ellen Barrett later went to SFT as producer. Was Michael still on at that time? Michael Corbett is now very successful in real estate and has written books etc. He was buying and renovating properties with his soap income back then.Smart guy.
