Just watched Strangers When We Meet (1960) with Kirk Douglas and Kim Novak. Was very impressed with this story of adultery. Although dated in some ways,it still packed a punch. Barbara Rush was terrific as Kirk's wife.She imbued the character with a lot of strength in a role that could have come off as pathetic or needy.

Interesting. I have never heard of them.A quick look at Jason 47's page doesn't shed much light as none of them are listed in the 1971 cast. Elaine had 2 eps in 1970 and Howard got 4 but there is no mention of the parents. They look like a forerunner to the Grant family. I wonder what the story is here? Did Bill Bell have plans that changed due to network feedback? Hope someone can shed light on this mystery...

Michael Lipton,who played Neil Wade,Penny Hughes second husband and son of Doug Cassen (Claire Lowells second husband) has died aged 86. He is on the right in this classic ATWT pic Michael Lipton, 86, of Englewood, died on Feb. 10 at The Lillian Booth Actors Home of The Actors Fund in Englewood. Born in in Queens, N.Y., before retiring, he was an actor and is survived by nephews and nieces. Arrangements were by Eden Memorial Chapels, Fort Lee.
