  1. They really going to have her race in on a bike? That's just comedic.
  2. Seems like poor editing. There was a loud bump and Li screamed just before her car caught fire so maybe we are supposed to assume Sheila rammed her. With car accidents on soaps you should always expect something that doesn't make sense. That would have made too much sense and you can't have that on a soap, lol. But at least Li got to beat Sheila down at least a little bit.
  3. Calm down and don't come at me disrespectful. Nobody said anything about gay panic and in this context you aren't even using the term correctly because that was a bogus legal defense. Second I was mostly joking so don't take it too seriously. It is odd to hire someone over a text though.
  4. I'll say it. He probably was a hoe and sent a D pic. The job market isn't easy out there and sometimes you got to stoop down to secure you a bag. Even if he didn't send no nasty picture he knew exactly what he was doing when he texted that man.
  5. Carter being more visible is likely because of how more shows are pushing for more diversity these past couple of years. As for the storyline it seems predictable that the truth about Eric being with Donna will come out and push Quinn back into Carter's orbit therefore uprooting any relationship Carter has with Paris. Paris' mother warning her about Carter was clear foreshadowing. Donna seems far more into Eric emotionally than he is into her. He is all about fun and making himself feel better.
  6. Bell loves writing for shock factor and cliffhangers but doesn't often back it up with substance. Sheila is too much of a useful villain for random drama for him to write her into too much of a corner.
  7. Suzanne Rogers' Myastheina Gravis was written into Days of Our Lives.
  8. I suspected that this was coming.
  9. Seems like yesterday when she first joined the show. I always liked how well she fit in onscreen with Masters and Menighan Hensley.
  10. As evil as Sheila is she did have Brooke's number when she called out Brooke as being pathetic. Throughout the entire situation Brooke has brought everything back to herself and Ridge. She took several digs at Taylor while Steffy was in the hospital. This story would have been more effective had Steffy been the one to keep the secret as opposed to Thomas. That would have made for awkward conflict between her and Ridge while she is on the mend as well as her feeling some guilt over keeping the secret just to keep her parents together. Steffy could have eventually felt wrong about keeping the secret and then confronted Sheila leading to the same outcome.
  11. That darkness was what made the scene. Kimberlin is able to make Sheila more scary than other soap opera psychos who come back repeatedly because she plays her as fearful a real deranged person would be. And I did notice that Krista was able to get into the character in away that makes it seem like she's been on the show much longer.
  12. "I WILL BE BACK!" lol. Despite some the over the top lines, Sheila's manic breakdown was entertaining to watch.
  13. I almost hollered out loud when stupid Eric answered the phone on Facetime. It's dumb for Steffy to want to bait Sheila to call her out instead of just calling the police. But of course it is a soap opera so there has to be some suspense.
  14. The votes would have been there in 2009 despite the Democratic caucus being more conservative. A compromise would have been doable. But at the end of the day it was the failure to secure the 2016 election that lead to this. Those three appointments Trump made were a coup that Republicans had been waiting for. Those appointments were more valuable to them than anything else because they can have some power for a long time even if they fail to win the Presidency or Congress for many cycles. Democrats play a short term game, Republican play a long term game.
  15. Maybe I'm tripping, but am I the only one who thought Sheila and Taylor's scenes after Taylor almost fell came off as a little romantic? That hug was almost couple-ish.
  16. Catching up after missing a few episode. Sheila is a plumb fool for saying "I'm coming, Finn!". I know melodramatic is what soaps do, but that was almost comedic.
  17. Bell once again went for shock value and one off dramatic scenes with actually having a solid point to the story. If Sheila was going to shoot her own child by accident then it needed to backed up my something more substantial.
  18. Kimberlin Brown is one of the best actresses in daytime period. She was able to nail how disturbed Sheila is and make it very frightening (that mirror scene scared me more than any horror movie scene has).
  19. Wait a minute, that is the guy from that commercial? I didn't even realize it.
  20. Steffy was dialing 911 way too slow, lol. I know it's a soap, but sometimes the way things are dragged out is just ridiculous. That could have been written better.
  21. With all the criticism they take over not having enough nominees and winners of color there was no way they were going to keep Will from accepting his award on stage and having him escorted out was even less likely. The Academy would prefer dealing with complaints over ones of him being thrown out.
  22. Leo would be verse at the most. When he tried to blackmail Xander into sleeping with him it was giving the energy that he wanted bottom action.
  23. Having mental health issues isn't really the same thing as mental illness. I'm not saying he has a chronic condition, but he did give off the vibe of someone in a state of distress and in need of help.
  24. No need to be condescending, Toups. What I saw is that he has some issues that were underlying before anything that happened tonight because his emotion seemed more than just for the moment. He needs some mental health services and immediately.
