  1. I am very interested in the show's connection to Ryan's Hope. Michael Corbett, Louise Shaffer and Peter Haskell all moved to Henderson. An Irish family showed up. Was it all Ellen Barrett and Paul Avila-Mayer? Was RH even considered that successful?
  2. Nobody will notice Sam's absence. She has been a character who reacts to other people's drama for some time, her story has more or less been told -more than once- and she seems bored in most of her scenes. The character should have been written out years ago. I'd rather have Laura's kids back and Alexis is all good with two daughters on the show. One of the problems with today's soaps is that TPTB are too scared to write out people who were popular decades ago and have no longer something to offer. Now if it was Liz or Maxie in Sam's place, I wouldn't be saying these things. So I understand who like her and will hate to see her go.
  3. Τhanks for clarifying. We are good.
  4. Him not being Greek or Russian has nothing to do with it. I am Greek lol, but I think that a German or an English actor with dark hair would be a better fit for the part. Someone like Rudolf Martin who played Anton on All My Children for example. I understand perfectly what you say though.
  5. Thanks. By the way I like your Tom Hardy Jr idea. Tom has the potential to become the Sarah Webber/Sarah Horton/Jennifer Foster of the decade lol.
  6. Thank you @Antoyne and @detroitpiston 🙂 It has nothing to do with hating the actor, or anything. I just don't see him as Nikolas lol. Brook Lynn's secret also had me thinking. Did she have sex with Dante back then?
  7. I am so happy that you had a good laugh when someone was rude to me. I guess that makes you feel good after being ridiculed by everyone here for years.
  8. You guessed wrong and I guess there is no need to be ironic to someone who was nothing but polite to you in this thread. Unless you have other issues and this forum is the place where you let yourself run wild. This is not the impression I had though 🙂 Perhaps my english is not good enough for you to understand Contessa.
  9. FF through Brennan, Carly, Jason, Anna, Robert, Lois and Gio. I am intrigued by Lucky's return, liked what I saw from Isaiah, loved the hospital scenes, Chase and Brooklyn and of course... Tracy ❤️
  10. The crazy recasting game gave us the ideal Molly. New Lulu is good news, because I didn't care for the previous one. I wouldn't mind another recast for Nik if the new actor fits the part. But I get that some people can't deal with constant recasts. I am not in a position to do so, I am currently watching Ryan's Hope, so....
  11. The problem (for me) is that he doesn't look like a prince. Not that he is not one. He doesn't look like a Cassadine. He doesn't look like a Greek Russian prince. He doesn't look like someone who has met Helena Cassadine once in his life. Isn't this who this character is supposed to be?
  12. I will never buy Adam Huss as a prince.
  13. You are right about that. A show in constant change, with only a few veterans cannot afford to lose classic locales as well.
  14. As far as I am concerned, the last time GL could have been saved, was early 2007. Jonathan was gone, Tammy was dead and the show had some air to breathe and try some other things. I'd bring back Rick Hearst as Alan-Michael, Amelia Marshall as Gilly, Petronia Paley as Vivian, John Wesley Shipp as Kelly and Lisa Brown as Nola. Nola would be staying with Michelle and the kids in Bert's home and serve as the nosy Bauer aunt. Kelly would be a successful doctor, obsessed with the late Morgan and would blame Josh for her death. I'd bring back Trudy Bauer for occasional visits (probably Helen Gallagher) and Barbara Norris (Rosemary Prinz) as well. I'd have Ed and Holly remarry and a recast Blake would be treated as a Bauer daughter. I'd burn Company down and have Reva run a bar. With Buzz. I'd bring Cynthia Watros as Annie who is now a psychiatrist after her doctor ex-husband changed her life. And I'd pair her with Josh. Hope would be back with a crazy story that would explain her absence. I'd have Alan-Michael marry Blake and take over Spaulding Enterprises and be Springfield's power couple. I'd bring a Detroit Grant as a niece for Gilly and I'd play with All About Eve for a while. Oh and a recast Shayne would be gay in the army.
  15. Jeff darling, you have no idea how right those people were.
  16. Wow. The show is on fire. The cemetery scenes, TJ's family, Rick and Molly, Laura and Liz, Maxie and Lulu, Lucky, Dante and Chase, Kristina and Alexis, Jordan of all people! A classic soap would invest in TJ and Molly as a couple. Not with the same old stories, WTD, divorce after divorce etc. With The Gates coming out, this is the time to write some modern day drama for them. The problematic bi sister from hell would bring an interesting aspect to them. The only weak spot... Lois and the Deception stupidity. I am not sure I am interested in watching Lois doing anything, but those scenes were too much. FF material, but I guess the show is making money by partnering with a cosmetics company or something. I know this has been addressed before, but in some scenes the direction is way too static. People don't talk standing opposite each other without moving at all. This is Days of Our Lives bad soap. Have one person sit, bring some coffee, play with their phone, eat, do something.
  17. That's how women in their 60s used to look back in the day. Like older ladies. These days soap opera stars in their 60s look like Real Housewives.
  18. Ι love Hartley's Sam! Had no idea that she was coming back.
  19. Dr Mary Warwick showing up in town as a new Taylor but ending up a new Sheila, causing havoc in Rick and Maya's life, is a story I really wanted to see on B&B back in the day. EOB would be great.
  20. Oh God. I don't see the Deception part of the show going anywhere or fitting with the rest of GH. I am sure Maxie can get another job somewhere else, make her a reporter or something. Tracy is Tracy. Lucy and Natalia can go. Natalia is a mistake and Lucy was important to the show several decades ago. If they want familiar characters, they can always bring back Simone Hardy and (her son).
  21. A part of me is afraid that she will (try to) seduce TJ.
  22. A LOT worse. The show becomes good again when Robert Calhoun arrives in late 1989. He was the show's last good producer.
  23. Another great episode. And of course it has to do with CVE's return. The show is on fire right now. Another day of Anna crying at work because she misses Valentino's penis. This woman is pathetic. Great scenes for Trina. Josslyn was laughable when she threatened Ava. Even Ava laughed. Girl, go back to Swans Crossing. The family scenes with TJ and Molly are very beautiful. Molly is becoming my favorite character for some reason. Once again, very interesting dynamics between the Davis women. NLG plays a modern day matriarch prety well. Sonny is fine as a short, old, grumpy mobster. I am not interested in his love life and I cannot see him as a patriarch. Jason is a cartoon. Kristina is the kind of problematic character that could drive story for years. Every scene with Mansi is interesting.
  24. I can't tell someone to stop posting the BDW, the SW and the Director every single day Contessa. Not that I have seen many discussions about them all this time. As you have said, it would make more sense if that post featured some comments about the episode, but that's ok. Seeing every single day the names of the creators, the EP and the HW in a post without any actual content, can be annoying. Perhaps it is only me, that's ok.
