GH: Actress Confirms Exit Following Last Scenes
I am quite familiar with "these people" Contessa, thank you very much for your concern. And I think you are getting way too "passionate" every time someone expresses a different opinion. Not passionate like the times you posted 100 25-page posts every single day, but in a different way. PS: Who are the unrelated individuals?

GH: Actress Confirms Exit Following Last Scenes
The man is gay himself, he brought all these queer characters to the show and I am supposed to call him a homophobe? I didn't mind Blaze/Ally, despite the fact that her acting was horrible during the fall. But I can't call the poor man names because he let the actress go. Did SON posters really like her that much? I hadn't realized that. All I know is that she was written out very abruptly.

ICAM. I think the early 00s were the last time soaps invested in young people. I guess the cancellations scared them and now they are too scared to turn beloved 80s and 90s characters into "old people" or even let them go. There is no room for young people because the veterans play their stories. Of course I wouldn't want soaps to go crazy and fire everyone who is getting older like they did in the 80s, but they should at least give them suitable material. Another problem is casting. The young actors who get cast are not always very charismatic. I think TPTB do it on purpose because the stars are the veterans.

They should have cast a character actress as Natalia. They keep hiring name actor/actresses whom they don't want to lose and they eventually become a problem. If this is the end of the lesbians, I see no reason for the mother to stay on the show. BTW what are they trying to do with Ava? Every character who accuses her of killing that baby seems crazy and/or evil. They do remember that we show Kristina's fall, right? It was not even shown in a did she/didn't she way.

I like him too. He is Rick. Sure, I can think of several other actors (from Michael E. Knight, Vincent Irizarry, Ricky Paull Goldin, Robert Bogue, hey even Michael Park) playing the part through the years, but I think that he could be very valuable to the show with the right kind of writing. Mel was his last chance, I would have kept them together and would have given them the go-to-couple role.

My question is... who could/should have played Blake? The woman was raised as a Bauer, is the daughter of Roger and Holly, had all this drama with the Spaulding boys, is the mother to Ross Marler's kids, she is even Dinah's stepmom. She should have been as important as the Carlys on GH and ATWT. After Ross was killed, it was the right time to bring a stronger, sexier, more dynamic Blake. After the coma. Jamie Luner? Stacy Haiduk? Sarah Joy Brown? Tamara Braun? Sandra Nelson? Cady McClain? I know the show was a mess by still.

YR: Sharon's new storyline + Return
How many Genoa City are having serious mental issues right now? I guess the ones who are not involved in business stories.

Sonny's last scene should be dying a hero and saving Port Charles from a bomb or something. At this point I don't see his purpose on the show. I don't buy him as a patriarch and I don't care about his love life at all. He would be ok as part of umbrella storylines involving the community.

We must admit that Brad Bell knows his audience very well.

I can understand why they wanted to bring Lily back, but she returned as Lauren Fenmore. It was like Amanda Spaulding's return on GL. Stacey should have been a reporter. I think her biggest problem was... Jack. He was rather bland and marrying into the Alden family didn't do her any favours storywise. She needed a different type of leading man. Roya was my Ava. Not only did I like the actress, but her stories as well. The Clay/Alex story didn't belong to the show and it didn't suit the Alden family.
