  1. I love the idea of Rick and Bridget! Rick adopts Peter and Hart wants to be a part of his son's life, not to mention that nosy Aunt Nola gets to remains part of the Bauer family forever.
  2. My problem with Rick and Phillip was that they were sort of the same person. Rick being more like AMC Tad or Phillip being more like Loving's Curtis would make them more interesting. I never cared for the casting either, although it was Grant Aleksander whom I didn't like very much.
  3. What do you know. A person is called a troll for expressing a different opinion on this board. Again.
  4. How many Genoa City are having serious mental issues right now? I guess the ones who are not involved in business stories.
  5. Sonny's last scene should be dying a hero and saving Port Charles from a bomb or something. At this point I don't see his purpose on the show. I don't buy him as a patriarch and I don't care about his love life at all. He would be ok as part of umbrella storylines involving the community.
  6. We must admit that Brad Bell knows his audience very well.
  7. I can understand why they wanted to bring Lily back, but she returned as Lauren Fenmore. It was like Amanda Spaulding's return on GL. Stacey should have been a reporter. I think her biggest problem was... Jack. He was rather bland and marrying into the Alden family didn't do her any favours storywise. She needed a different type of leading man. Roya was my Ava. Not only did I like the actress, but her stories as well. The Clay/Alex story didn't belong to the show and it didn't suit the Alden family.
  8. Modern people refuse to age. Taylor was a divorced doctor when we were introduced to her 35 years ago. At this point she should look and act as old as Ruth Martin in the 90s? Lucinda Walsh in the late 90s? Holly Norris in the 00s? Brooke English in AMC 2.0? Now everyone looks like a Real Housewife whether they are 35, 45 or 65. That's why the shows don't have any decent matriarchs. The actresses want to look 35 and the characters act 25. The writers refuse to treat their veterans as older people. Look at Nick and Sharon on Y&R. Come to think about it, this crazy recast makes sense in a rather sad way.
  9. Now is a great time to bring Steffy's daughter Kelly as a pregnant teenager.
  10. Rylan played the same ditzy blonde on every show. I never bought her as a Spaulding, an Abbott-Newman or a Spencer. I think she would be much better in a different kind of role.
  11. Lets hope that Sheila leaves the show for good now. This is a half-hour soap, no room for many characters. I don't think that Taylor will be crazy. This was Brad's idea of a dramatic entrance.
  12. Crazy but interesting. B&B reunites Zach and Greenlee and hires a name actress as Taylor, because of THE GATES?
  13. Why is Taylor dressed like Ben Hur's mother?
  14. Since it is not Chloe or Nicole like every other time I opened a similar thread...
  15. I hated that story and Stephanie Gashet looked exactly like every other blonde girl in the 00s soap world.
  16. Marci Miller has the classic soap look. Farah Fath would make Lulu more fun and vibrant. And Alexa would make Lulu more dynamic. @BetterForgotten's idea is the most interesting. How about searching for an actress whom we don't know and who combines all of the above?
  17. I am sure GH can do fine without any new babies for a year or two. Or three.
  18. I want Carrington Garland on a soap. She still looks amazing.
  19. Wow. Thanks you so much. Only the people on this board! 🙂 Sounds like a lot of story could take place there, especially in the 90s and give the show a more urban vibe.
  20. Thank you, that is what I talking about. Now I want to watch episodes edited by you lol.
  21. The scenes look very flat, too bright, they are never atmospheric, the actors don't move around the set in a realistic way, not too mention that the sets like IKEA rooms with no diversity or any personal items around. I have noticed that Gary Tomlin episodes look better and I was never a fan of his work. BTW I like this Molly a lot.
  22. I can't wait to see how the other soaps will try to compete with the newcomer. Well, mostly GH, since the Bell soaps are on CBS and Days is on Peacock and will react to the Gates in 2034. I expect a stronger black presence, perhaps a name actor joining?
  23. Don't say that, your posts are very interesting. Not to mention that we love your name. The problem with all the writer changes is that some details get lost. From what I understand Company and the Reardon House were supposed to be near Cedars. These details fascinate me and help the viewer see the soap town as a character itself.
