  1. What I love about Marland's work is that even "boring" scenes, where never boring to me.
  2. I love this idea. Reminds me of the Lana Turner scandal and the Rae/Michael/Kimberly drama on RYAN'S HOPE.
  3. I have no idea. It might have to do with Bobbie's death, I don't know. Or the Mama Bear thing, which suits her very well. When I look at her now I see someone with Carly's life experiences and not Princess Cassie's. She looks like someone you should be afraid of, not in a psychotic way, but like you wouldn't want to mess with her of her loved ones. She might shoot you.
  4. I was never crazy about Laura Wright's Carly. She never felt Carly to me, more like an aging ingenue. These days I love her. She looks older, tougher and... like a Carly. If they plan to continue this thing with Drew, they must recast Willow. He looks like a pervert with a 14-year old. The actress acts like she is on Swans Crossing.
  5. Sascha and Jason? When will TPTB realize that nobody cares about her? Pia Zadora she is not.
  6. Everything is a classic these days. People don't remember what they had for breakfast this morning because of the obsession with social media and random info, images etc. People who remember all of Erica Kane's last names and are dreaming of watching at leaste one LOVERS & FRIENDS and WHERE THE HEART IS episode have a different idea about "classics". Episodes from ten years ago feel almost new to me. The fact that soaps haven't invested in fascinating new characters and the same people are always front and center makes it much easier.
  7. So many mistakes in the 00s... The show had six different openings in less than ten years. Stories with princes and kingdoms in 2000? Because it did wonders for Dynasty? Kissing cousins? Well, at least they weren't brother and sister. Ruining the timeline by making Susan Lemay and Leah Bauer the same age? Losing Ross? Because they had so many veterans? The obsession with random couples because some crazy people threatened to kill themselves outside the studio? 1990's Springfield was a big city. By the end of the show it was a village. This is sad. NY had the best talent.
  8. I adored LOL's last intro. The music and the images.. amazing.
  9. What about Sonny the Lover? I agree with you. I can't stand watching him.
  10. No song for me. Just a beautiful intro with no faces that can last for years and years. This is what tv shows have been doing (since LOST?) and it is what soaps were doing until the time they started obsessing with DALLAS and DYNASTY. Everyone says that they want the show to be modern. Which modern show features the cast in the opening?
  11. Perhaps Harley's story could have been given to Nola's daughter Stacey Reardon. She was the same age as Alan-Michael. A troublemaker who has been staying with Tony and Anabelle for a while and has ran away. But I understand a writer's need to bring brand new characters. Otherwise the show becomes a Forrester/Horton-Brady-Dimera/Abbott-Newman mess.
  12. Always great to see him. Liz is the heart and soul of GH and it is nice to have her kids around.
  13. Yes to everything. But Gio is not even worth killing. He should return home before Brook Lynn becomes a grown man's mother and Tracy becomes 100 years old in order for the story to make sense.
  14. I started watching AW when Philece was playing the part and I thought that Donna was supposed to be acting ike that. Like Emma Samms playing Fallon on the Colbys. I later watched 1983 episodes and was shocked when I saw Anna Stuart. A totally different character.
  15. If you ask me, YES. Long turned GL into a brand new show overnight and I didn't care for it at all. I'd say that something started changed under Long/Calhoun, but the show started becoming more flat and generic under JFP.
  16. Oh yes. And I loved that opening and the theme as well.
  17. I am still getting bad tv vibes. It is kind of adorable. In a sad way. Lovely talking to you 🌻
  18. I think that we will get a real trailer at some point. I like the idea of the posed shots for promos better. Openings work better without characters. But I wouldn't mind an intro with faces for the first year. Sounds like a bad line from B&B, but ok 🌻
  19. I hope you feel better after this. It was amazing.
  20. I think that GH looks better. Not perfect, but better. And the Y&R stories are boring. Nothing happens and the show is afraid to invest in something/someone new.
  21. I am glad that you agree with me. People should feel free to express their opinions.
