BTG: History, Behind the Scenes Articles & Photos
First of all, thank you for your lovely message. I think that we are all adults here. It is more or less easy to understand what a poster is refering to, when we read the past few messages. If we don't, their comment probably had nothing to do with us. I think this is the first time that someone wants some kind of clarification. And I have seen several people post -not-very-specific- things. Sometimes I could understand what they were refering to, other times not so much. We are allowed to communicate our thoughts in different ways, right? This board is about soap operas, it is not soap opera lol. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me.

Is there a reason everyone is so rude to you? Are you a known troll or something? I would rather see RC on Y&R than spend several more years with JG's horrible stories. I am not a DAYS fan, but I expected to like his work. I felt that he didn't take the show seriously (I don't know if I should blame him) and the horrible production values and the bad acting made things even worse.

Y&R: Old Articles
Back in the day I felt that Ellen Winters was Y&R's answer to Santa Barbara's Mary Duvall. Over the years several viewers have suspected that Dru would show up as Amy's sister. With Amy gone, Bill Bell created Olivia and the rest is history. This is one of the things I love about soaps. The show must always go on, one way or another. VP feels like a completely different character.

It's good to have you back Tessa. The Laura Wright-Carly situation is when an iconic character ends up being played the longest by a capable actor who doesn't really suit it and eventually transforms it into something new they are comfortable with. But something always feels off. Many examples on other shows as well.

Perhaps the show really wanted a specific name actor on the show and they had to give him some connections to the canvas? Someone older than Nate could have some teenaged kids right? I would love to see Hilary return with Damien. But in my mind Dru returns as an amnesiac homeless woman and Victoria Rowell is given a chance to act the way she can.

Does anyone remember how Bob Guza was as a team with Millie Taggart on Loving? I like the idea of him in the writing team. He knows how to make things interesting. And I am happy that Ron Carlivati has joined the BTG team. He will always be the one who brought One Life back to life for me. And he made me care for GH. I don't think that he will get crazy here, because this doesn't sound like this type of show. And Days has been a joke for decades, I can't really blame him. Unpopular opinion: A part of me wanted Ron to take over from Josh Griffith.
