Thank you so much. The Whitmore estate story reminds me of Lovers and Friends (also set in Chicago) and the Pat-Laura/Vivian-Ruth dynamic has an Imitation of Life vibe.

I feel that it was better than the 80s theme. I couldn't stand the visuals (still, better than the 80s visuals) but I prefered Paul Rauch's shortened version. The late 70s theme was just fine.

Lulu is the modern day Sarah Webber/Sarah Horton/Jennifer Foster, right? I'd choose Marci Miller as others have said before. She has this old-school-soap look and could be Laura's daughter. What is Bree Williamson doing these days? Her GH role is long forgotten.

Maxie and Spinelli were the highlight of the episode. I like John Cates a lot. So many good scenes! Sonny always bores me to death. I could not care less.

I was happy to see all these extras in the hospital and liked the way Gary Tomlin directed the episode. I had no idea that Spinelli lives in a closet.

I also had to check the date after reading the news! Who would have thought... 🤩

At least soaps were still trying to keep up with the times. It is an upgrade from the two previous openings. Of course I would never have changed the late 70s intro and music. So classy and sophisticated. The other day I was watching the 1981 episode that was posted a few days ago and the 1981 intro felt so out of place with the elegant vibe of the show.

This feels like a porn film with the sex scenes cut for some reason.

Thank you for the 1987 episode! Shana could have been the show's Iris Carrington or Tracy Q. They turned her into a very boring character once she was domesticated with Father Jim. And Gwyneth became the Alden b*tch.

Friday's episode was good. (Even KM wasn't sleepwalking during her scenes.) Why do you keep calling the platform UglyX Contessa Donatella? PS: I am also one of FV's supporters. He is doing A LOT of things right and GH is the only soap that doesn't feel like a zombie.

I haven't watched season 1, it was considered a failure. Miami became Miami in Season 2's reboot and has been delivering eversince.

Another amazing MIAMI season. This show is on FIRE. Best looking RH show and the only one where everybody looks great. Everyone has something to offer, the stories are real-life-soap and the dynamics are fascinating. I want more of Kiki, less of the vulgar sex jokes. I am not sure she wants to share much of her real life though. Bring everybody back!
