I started trying to get back into the show to see Mishael’s return and it’s been challenging. Especially with Days, GH, and BTG all being so entertaining at the same time. Squeezing in something as boring and anti soap opera as current Y&R just isn’t a fun chore.

Off camera so we could be surprised today.

Loved the courtroom stuff. I despise Willow and Drew but love Ric, so it pained me to see him being so good at his job because I absolutely do NOT want Willow and Drew to get custody. I guess Nina changed her mind about betraying Sasha, yikes. I ignored pretty much everything else in the episode.

And you just KNOW she eats there since everyone in the damn town does.

Can’t believe we’re not getting Sami at all for John’s passing. That’s wild to me. We couldn’t even get a Sami video call? I know Sami was needed for the rape story, but I’d prefer her here for John’s death over the rape stuff. She still never even explained why or how she fell in love with her rapist when she was in Salem. So Bo doesn’t know his daughter married a serial killer. You could really feel Paul’s grief today. Bo finding out about Victor and that wave of grief hitting him was so real. And then to find out about Doug right after. PR was great. This is already a better Bo/Hope story than whatever the hell RC wrote. I say it every day it seems but Deidre again is pitch perfect. Hope being so excited to hear about John only to hear he didn’t make it 😭 Bo is going to be destroyed.

I think it’s high time we get Shanice out of just being at the hospital.

Shanice was SO good with Leslie today omg!!

Yeah I’m glad Anita put a stop to that. What Anita did was wrong and it’s okay for her to admit and feel what she did was wrong. The Duprees have to be wrong at some time.

Honestly Mona shouldn’t even matter. Shanice freaking talked to Leslie. But no one seems to think to show her the footage or picture of Leslie? It’s such a stupid glaring hole.

Excellent Roman and Kayla scenes. Best work I’ve seen from Josh Taylor. That was real emotion there. Awesome comments to wrap up Roman and John. Deidre Hall was once again perfect. When she slightly snapped at Abe and Paulina for asking about the funeral. Just perfect. Hope we get a lot more of Julie with Marlena. As rude as it is, I wish they would’ve done another Eileen/Stacy switch for this story. Stacy’s Kristen is completely defined by Brady and we don’t get flashbacks. The balls on EJ to show up at Marlena and John’s home. It was so perfect and sad.

GH has to be the only soap that still has a courtroom set and I appreciate that as I love courtroom drama on soaps.

Wow. What an episode. Deidre truly broke my heart today. Not much else to say. Just an incredible love story ending. I’m amazed they couldn’t or didn’t try go get either Claire actress while both of her grandfathers are on death’s door. Hope sensing John had passed was a nice heartbreaking touch. The rest of the week is going to be so hard.

I’m watching it tonight. I’ve been watching the new episodes simultaneously as I catch up in May 😂 I had to see John’s send off in real time.

People really forget the show started at the end of Feb.

Sharon clearly has Anita’s number and I love it! Really can’t wait to find out what the secret is.

You know I loved TSJ as Tucker, but I also liked him as Todd. He had real chemistry with Eileen considering I don’t think they ever worked together. Same with the actress that played Audra. But the writing was awful.

As always loved seeing Ric with Liz. I hope the show forever keeps them in each others orbit even if it’s just platonic. I’m sure she’s going to cut him out when she finds out he’s blackmailing Alexis though. So darn.

My god the smirking was back in full force today. He almost started smiling after Johnny mentioned he wouldn’t be there if EJ hadn’t raped Sami. I will say I did like seeing him with Dee as they’ve always had great chemistry. They really are giving a lot of false hope with John getting better. I wish they hadn’t done that. Monday is going to be devastating. I really liked all the characters mixing and mingling today. Nu-Rachel is still too sweet for me. Loved all the flashbacks. Everyone looked so young. Really enjoyed Brady’s scenes with John today.

I actually seemed to lose interest in the show when the twist was no longer Damian as the head.
