Oh it GAVE THIS was the Leslie I fell in love with. Humor was there but so was what like you said the grit and edge that initially won us all over. I haven’t commented much but they started turning or TMG did, Leslie into more of a cartoon annoyance at some point and it wasn’t working as well for me especially as she was my breakout fav from jump. I wasn’t moved by June at all today. She showed up completely unannounced and made a scene but I guess we should be moved because her non crazy person personality emerged for a second? And honestly screw Naomi. This was a closed adoption she blew right open because I guess her law firm doesn’t keep her busy enough.

I’ve loved having Tony back as Thao has always been one of my favorite Days actors, but it’s crazy I believe in my catching up he’s only had one scene with a long time scene partner and that’s Anna his wife and was literally one episode. Weren’t Tony and Marlena actually good friends?

I’m finally officially caught up to present watching as of last night and I couldn’t agree with this post more. Sure the Johnny trial is absurd in that his dad is the one defending him on trial of shooting him and his aunt is prosecuting him, but it was never played for laughs. I love court drama on soaps and I thoroughly enjoyed this trial. Rachel twist totally caught me off guard and I loved it. Though it was infinitely more believable that previous and my preferred Demon Spawn Rachel would’ve shot EJ over this current version but I guess I can explain away the change in character on dealing with shooting your uncle point blank lol. She really is a DiMera and I love that. Rachel genuinely wasn’t on my bingo card. Another fabulous set of scenes between Julie and Marlena. SSH continues to make Julie’s grief palpable and I’m sure it’s because she’s truly mourning the loss on and offscreen. I continue to find all of her work post Doug’s death scenes better than the initial Doug death scenes. She’s had some really great scenes with both Chad and Marlena about grief. It’s just fantastic,

I know nuSophia has been on for months now, but my god she has TANKED this character with her portrayal. The old Sofia actress had such a spunk about her you could see her carrying on for a while but alas. Nu-Sophia is just my god D3 levels I don’t want to see you anymore. Also unpopular opinion, but demon Spawn Rachel was so much better than this weeping sad mess. I haaaaate Adriennas hair so much. So happy the show created a court room and outside of court room set in our new age of redressing everything.

Drew seems to think Sonny won’t just kill him if he targets Michael like this. It’s actually been funny how little worry about Sonny or Jason just killing him Drew seems to have. I hate that this show even has me thinking this is even an acceptable way to handle a rival. I’ve officially become the problem.

Not only did she get off, the writing was so slanted they actually tried to paint Christine in the wrong for even daring to pursue this.

The Y&R cast and crew has the easiest job in the business. The pandemic truly showed them they don’t have to do [!@#$%^&*] and people will still watch. Empty restaurants, zero movement and all.

I’ve finally made it to last week 🙌🏽🙌🏽. I’m really enjoying the show especially in comparison to the garbage that is Y&R of today

Tamra now trying to get ahead of naked wasted with Gretchen and reframe it was something else. She definitely got Gretchen plastered and sent her son after her. This new story doesn’t work for me.

Finally got to AS returning as Sami. The scenes with DH were great. I do wish it could’ve happened during the actual death. Days just feels like Days when Sami is around even though I hated her when they turned her into a heroine. Loved the flashbacks with Sami and John as well. Still surreal John Black is gone.

Are any of the other soaps even close to this with partner sharing? I know it’s inevitable on a soap if you’re in town for a few years but the characters on Y&R genuinely seem to love sleeping with the same partners. Even still, you should be able to make out in peace with your ex wife without your Brother who is your ex wife’s ex husband and other ex wife coming up 😂

Oh gosh what a disaster it would be to lose multiples of the main cast in a short period.
