I get why they do it. There’s probably not a lot of infrastructure or money to be made outside of Asia or Europe/North America/Australia. But it would nice to have investment somewhere outside of the usual.

STL kid here, and I indeed watched Y&R when I got home from school, which is probably one of the big reasons why it’s my favorite soap to this day. I also loved Oprah, so it was always a dilemma for me to decide what to watch at 4 pm. Santa Barbara used to air at 10 am in STL when I was growing up.
