  1. It's always great to see my long-standing crush, Philip Brown (Steve Kendall).
  2. Well, that's what happens when you come for the Queen. Oh, for real? Well, color ME surprised!
  3. Ben Sasse: "Please, oh please, let there be tapes." Khan: "Please, oh please, kiss my ass."
  4. Meanwhile, from the White House.... *crickets*
  5. I can see that movie poster now... "All hail the Queen. RESPECT Thanksgiving 2020"
  6. Wow, that's mine as well! Here's another great one (in a catalog that is simply unstoppable): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywKNWhxUkco
  7. TRUTH. It surprised me as well. I'm not even entirely sure if he MEANT it. But I'm glad someone said it. It's like what I was telling someone not too long ago: I'd rather run for office and lose on the truth, then run and win on a lie. And that the reason why I WON'T run for office EVER is because I just can't compromise what I believe in for the sake of a few, lousy votes. As Katie told Hubbell in "The Way We Were," people ARE their principles. My principles and my beliefs are not for sale.
  8. Three months in four years? Even PASSIONS wasn't that slow!
  9. I always remember what @marceline said on here a long time ago: "Well, [Bernie needs to stop 'working for me'] before someone burns a cross on my lawn!"
  10. From what I understand, Mr. Peepers' wedding was like the equivalent of Joe and Rhoda's wedding. It was a HUGE event that people stayed home to watch. I had no idea she appeared on ATWT, though. RIP.
  11. LOL! He sure does LOOK like John Gibson. And I know his IMDb profile says he was on OLTL in '83. But I can't be sure.
  12. "Guess who's getting married, Madge?" "Somebody asked for this hand?" Why, you catty b***h!
  13. What else can you say? Hate breeds only more hate. I wonder how involved the right and far right are in these allegations against Keith Ellison. It seems like they've been working hard lately -- practically since the beginning of the #MeToo movement -- to target those on the left for bad behavior. Unfortunately, the left isn't finished yet with playing the victim to realize what the other side is actually doing.
  14. Wasn't Hal Short part of some drug-smuggling plot? Something to do with drugs being passed off as laundry soap, I think? I always thought the "laundry soap twist" was fiendishly clever, lol.
  15. And that's really sad when you think about how she was when she first arrived. But I guess that was an issue for TD: no matter who was HW'ing at the moment, they never seemed to know what to do with a character who wasn't nucking futs.
  16. Khan replied to YRBB's topic in Music & Movies
Is that a music video or a screen saver set to music? I wish Cher would release an all-new album of pop standards someday. Just her royal Cherness and an orchestra, or maybe a small jazz combo, singing a bunch of tried-and-true songs about love lost, love found, and love denied. Call me crazy, but I think she would kill it.
  17. I think DHP was asked awhile ago about the possibility of reprising Niles, either for a "Frasier" revival or a series of his own, and he said no. But does that mean he wouldn't be up for a guest appearance or two? We'll have to wait and see. I agree that it will have to come down to the supporting cast, and whether the premise is something that can sustain itself for more than a few episodes. I also agreed with Grammer when he said he didn't want to go back to Frasier's old apartment in Seattle and pretend like nothing has changed. It's been, what, fourteen years since we've seen him? He shouldn't be in the same place he was at the end of "Frasier," either geographically or psychologically, or else it'll be really depressing to watch. I still think having him teach at a university -- perhaps, the University of Chicago? -- would be the next, logical step for Frasier. Continuing with his radio show, even in podcast form, would feel redundant to me.
  18. I think even "white supremacy" is too nice of a term. It's racism. Pure and simple.
  19. Oh, no. James Wolk.
  20. Agree. Agree with THIS as well.
  21. I remember (vaguely) rumors about Gus being Alan and Rita's son. Thank GOD they never went THERE. (Although, making him the product of Alan's affair with some random nun was just as bad.)
  22. Agree.
  23. Let's just thank God for Will Munson's poisoned mouthwash. Looking at the list of "actors" who played Chris, I struggle to name one whom I liked even a little bit. That role was never cast properly, or written properly. Holroyd was let go for two reasons: they wanted Roger Howarth, and they wanted to take Paul in a different, darker direction (which they didn't believe Holroyd could do convincingly). And as for the ATWT/Y&R crossover, I'm convinced the network came up with that idea strictly as a way to cross-promote the two shows (a move borrowed from the Angela Shapiro era of ABC Daytime) and to shake up their stodgy, conservative images. There's really no explanation for getting Alison and Amber involved in drugs, prostitution and online sex tapes.
