  1. Yeah... with Priestley, I kinda cringe sometimes. Some fillers under his eyes would do wonders. I know firsthand that it really improves your overall look, appearing more awake, refreshed, healthy, etc. And it's not expensive. I know we should "just age gracefully" (yada yada yada, no one buys that baloney), but if I were on television being filmed in high-definition, I'd be hitting up the fillers and botox. Nothing crazy fun-house mirror like Tori, but just some subtle improvements.
  2. @Cheap21 Yup! And I think the particular comment Ramona made was saying "I never pre-judge anyone" or something to that effect.
  3. Wow, Y&R hit No. 1 as early as 1980?
  4. I'd have to disagree about Shannon and Jennie. Jennie Garth looks amazing, whereas Shannon has such a bad case of smoker's mouth/teeth that it looks like she's rotting inside.
  5. Interesting quote from Ramona: “When she left in season 4, we found out through the press she was doing her spinoff, Bethenny Getting Married. She was upset we never congratulated her, but we were upset she never told us! And that’s how we feel now. There is a camaraderie among us as a cast. Love us, hate us, not like us — we are a team. To hear this from the press and not through her is upsetting,” she explained. Singer added, “I really wish her well, though. The show’s a machine and it will continue on. We’re all just a cog in the wheel. No one is irreplaceable.” One, I like the fact that Ramona sees the cast as an ensemble. Two, it is jenky that Bethenny failed to inform her co-stars about her news, not once but twice.
  6. Agreed. I'm loving this ride. Only 6 episodes, with 3 already done, but it's been fun. It's not reality, it's not a revival, but it's fun.
  7. Damn. As polarizing as she can be, she’s good for the show overall and makes good press for the show. Luckily, I definitely think RHONY is in a better state than it was the last time around (and as mentioned recently, Season 4 wasn’t bad - it was the 5th season with half the originals axed that it really lost its organic feeling) that they can continue their momentum with Luann, Ramona, Dorinda, Sonja and even Tinsley. I’m thinking try two new women and whoever works best keep them as a full-time wife? I guess Barbara can stick around as a friend. Ooh, maybe fiiiinally commit to bringing Jill back full time. Who knows, maybe without Bethenny’s influence, the possibilities can open. She filmed last year and was cut; she’s always attending events and get-together with Ramona; put a camera back on her and the promise of an apple, and let the fur fly again! All itll take is a tennis match or step ‘n repeat sign to get Jill and Ramona at odds again 😂 Typos by iPhone.
  8. Also, is it just the angle of the photo or does Joey skip leg day?
  9. OMG yes, that made the rounds all over my fellow queens' social media And you're right about the question about Damon. I loved the finale with its touching and bittersweet moments. And with the two introduced at the end, I could foresee them being aged up to Blanca's new ballroom children when they eventually fast-forward to 1996.
  10. I will love that Jill gif forever Especially since I remember what she was reacting to. Karen's expressions were priceless. Another fantastic Potomac episode. I'll dive into that link later about the reunion because at first glance there was about 80 million pop-ups and other garbage when I clicked. I just hope Gizelle finally gets a good roasting.
  11. There's a lot of good moments in the 4th season. I'd check it out. Like @Cat said, it's the end of an era, with Jill and Alex and cray-cray Kelly still there. The Morocco trip is awesome and the aftermath with Luann/Jill targeting Alex & hubby Simon is good. You'll also hear the phrase, "Not the right time, not the right place" about a million times, lol. It's the reunion that gets really ugly.
  12. Wow, I guess now I can see why people might want Katie at the reunion. But Ashley isn't wrong. Katie looks as stable as Britney Spears circa 2007, ready to knock a window out with an umbrella...
  13. Re: RHONY. I've always enjoyed Dorinda until her fourth season (S10). Up until she got ugly with LuAnn, she was always a breath of fresh air. I don't really remember the Heather saga of Season 7 other than when Dorinda got drunk on vacation and started slurring her words at the dinner table and then had that "I wanna go home" meltdown. This season with Dorinda & Luann, they both had their right and wrong moments, but the only time Dorinda looked really bad in my eyes was coming after Tinsley and her source of income for no reason.
  14. Agreed. And Jennie Garth is definitely one I wish had had a second huge hit. Yeah, she's done other things post-90210 but I'd love to see her as the lead in a mainstream sitcom, drama, etc. Also, Gabrielle would be perfect as a "cool grandma" or later-in-life cougar, if she were to pursue those types of roles.
  15. I have no issue with the age difference. That's not the issue. Pray Tell isn't that old nor is he gross; no one's saying Ricky is hitting up the nursing home looking for a sugar daddy on a respirator.
  16. It would be fun to have an actual legitimate 90210 reboot, but I like this strange new concept of a scripted faux reality of the actors. Not to quote a James Harmon Brown / Barbara Esensten pitch, but it's a "Never Been Done Before!" concept and I enjoyed it for what it is. I wasn't expecting a reboot so I wasn't disappointed by what I was getting into. And YES, a true reboot of Melrose Place would be awesome. I wish they had done that 7 years ago when the original cast got together for their Entertainment Weekly cover. The cast (at the time) had all aged liked fine wine. Poor Heather... I'm rootin' for ya, girl... Yeah, but "Roseanne".... Everyone's hoping all these reboots and revivals will get the same kinda reaction.
  17. I agree. When I got into Housewives way back when in 2011, OC was the one that took me the longest to warm up to because, as you said of the current cast, there weren't many endearing castmembers to root for. This was the days of Vicki, Tamra, Gretchen, Jesus Jugs, and Peggy 1.0. Once they brought on Heather and then Shannon (and Lizzie!) and got rid of Gretchen and JJ, I finally gave a damn about the ensemble.
  18. That was a pretty ho-hum OC premiere for me. First of all, YES, Vicki is needed. Love her or hate her, she is an integral part of this franchise. To me, she centers the show and without her, it was just a bunch of fluff, especially with Emily, Gina, Braunwyn, etc. Braunwyn definitely shows promise and seems fun. I'm not here for the Brady Kids + Cousin Oliver's antics, but I hate kids in general, and when you have newbies, the kids are turnt up for the cameras so everything is hyped. Give 'em a couple years and they'll be so disinterested like Joe & Melissa's kids on NJ Good for Shannon for dropping the weight and having a positive attitude! Much, much improved over her sorry pessimistic ass these past few years. Sadly, all that extra weight really aged her (just look at her first season!) but she's getting it back together. Kudos. Emily. Meh. Gina. Yikes. What is happening with this one? She seems to have taken on Shannon's weight gain and we're watching it as it happens. Her various talking heads show her getting larger. The peroxide hair is all sorts of wrong. She actually looks like a different person with the weight gain and hair. Almost like Meghan McCain... not a look I'd aspire to replicate. Overall, Gina seems like a wreck both on and off screen. I guess she's this season's basket case. Kelly. Ugh. I've never been a huge fan of hers or her personality. Too much Kelly on this episode. She cannot carry this show. But if she gets white girl wasted in front of Vicki next week, at least that'll be good trainwreck TV. I don't know what the Twitter feud is, re: Kelly vs. Tamra. What's the Cliffs Notes on that? Tamra is fine I guess. I always thought of her son as white trash, and seeing him as a Fox News-watchin' Trumpeter is all the confirmation I needed on that. I wonder how Eddie is doing, health-wise? He doesn't seem as muscular as he used to be. Overall, it was a very soft premiere and my interest only piqued when I saw next week's episode with Kelly being her sloppy self towards Vicki.
  19. That was pretty epic. They left one lingering question about Damon unless there was a brief mention that I missed....? Next week's episode looks like a trans Sex And the City vacation! Side Note: LOL at Lil Papi always shirtless and flexing now. We get it dude, you've been working out in between seasons.
  20. Braunwyn Windham-Burke. That is just too much name for one person.
  21. Agreed. There's chunks of story/explanation missing these days. And one thing that bothers me: Why on earth would Blanca own an entire store front boutique for ONE single hairdresser, herself? Don't stylists usually rent booths at existing salons? Realistically, she would be spending A LOT in upkeep of that place (the products she uses; the products she sells, electricity, heat, etc. etc.) that she simply could not afford as one single stylist unless she works morning, noon, and night every single day. I'm still enjoying this season, but definitely agree that the first season had a clear vision and story arc to be told over the course of the season. No "agenda" or Emmy-baiting episodes. Just solid story. Yeah, I'm not liking what they're hinting at... the "daddy" jokes are one thing, but Ricky was showing lust in his eyes. The preview for this week had Pray Tell saying he's taken on a new lover, and the body shown looked young, firm, and taut much like Ricky....
  22. Dear God that was painful and cringeworthy. Reeked of damage control. "Ooh you look so toned in that dress after your work out." Whatevs Mikey, you're thinking of Juan's booty. Ashley's quest to reunite with her father would serve her better next year or some other season. This half-assed attempt right now is just diverting attention to something else, like a presidential tweet. No one who is 100% genuine would put their estranged parent on the spot with cameras ready to film and 1 million viewers ready to cast judgment.
  23. Looks like Robyn is finally ticked that Gizelle is stirring up ish at her event (are they trying to unload that house she's been working on forever?) Yeah, but what did Katie DO? Besides looking bewildered, confused, and mixing medications? The chick didn't even know what last night's event was for! That girl is a MESS!!
  24. I know a spot that has DAYS complete episodes from 1993 through August 1995... I just need that to expand through somewhere in '97 when it started going downhill. The Aremid era is my all-time fave.
  25. Yeah. The whole vibe of this episode was off. And the end, those heifers pretending they've forged some special friendships out of this series. Puh-lease. We know how many f-cks Erika gives ("None, not one, zero, zero, zero, done!"), and Denise could easily be a one-and-done if Bravo decided to, and the other 5 wouldn't keep in touch with her. Rinna seated next to Andy is baffling, too. What DID she do all season except ponder how on earth her daughter could develop an eating disorder, while basically admitting she herself goes through periods of not eating much? Duh... Camille's breakdown was strange, but mostly understandable given what she's gone through (I hope her mom is doing better... any word on her health?), but yet she was all smiles a couple weeks back on WWHL, after the reunion was taped, so who knows about next season....? Anyhoo, even though RHOBH started this year's season in February, it felt like it was on forever. The only thing I have to say is I look forward to seeing what casting news develops in the coming months because Bravo execs surely can see the toxicity of this clan.
