  1. Agreed. They're punishing vs. protecting the wrong ones. What a mess.
  2. Speaking of bad lighting, the random blue lighting in the back of the courtroom made the poor judge's face look green!
  3. Yeah, that line made no sense. Add to that, the devil isn't horny for men or women. The devil has no desire for mortals. Also, has Johnny already been fully taken over? It seems he's the devil 100% of the time. The devil can sure take over quickly, as opposed to slowly worming his way into control. Ugh. They break their own rules of this dumb game. Wait. No love for Melissa Archer's elephant statue?
  4. Agreed. And even in the midst of it all, she was still touting GL as the greatest thing since sliced bread (there was a brief creative high, so to speak, in the first half of 2005 when the negotiation drama was unfolding). She wasn't acting all bitter and airing out grievances like some other veteran actors from other soaps had done...
  5. Ya know, I was about to post the same thing about Meredith. After being tied with Heather as my SLC favorite last year, Meredith is coming off as hypocritical when it comes to defending one person and not defending another. Plus, the fact that she actually thinks her request that she and Jen not be invited to the same events is something that would actually stick when they're filming a reality show together, well that's just ridiculous. It could maybe work back in the day (i.e. "Don't film with Bethenny" / "Don't film with Kelly") when there were more individual one-on-one scenes on Housewives, but nowadays it's all about the group dinners in hopes of creating another Dinner Party from Hell moment. Love her or hate her, you still gotta be in the same room as her if you want to remain on the show.
  6. Agreed. I feel like some of the flashback scenes would be beneficial for getting to know new girl Jen, too, who otherwise is a pretty forgettable newbie so far.
  7. GL's Holly was my first thought, too. Though I suppose I'm influenced by Maureen Garrett's real-life coming out.
  8. Yikes. Heather is the best by default because everyone else looks tacky. I'm not going to be able to take anyone seriously when they're fighting, with obnoxious feathers coming out of their arms and shoulders.
  9. Wha?!? Legit excited to see this. I barely watch Y&R anymore and don't tune in for that story, but totally will now to see "Joshua Lewis" back on our screens!
  10. Satan in 2022 has no subtlety. If only they could emulate the way the possession story was originally introduced in Dec. '94 through Feb. '95, when Marlena wasn't aware of anything that was happening to her.
  11. This woman has learned nothing from the Season 5 altercation. Much like Nene, Porsha fell on her own sword and her falling out of favor with the audience and Bravo production was her own doing. After disliking her for her first few seasons, she actually became one of my favorites. But now, oof, last night was ugly and ratchet. We stopped watching and switched over to SLC instead. How long does this Porsha's Family Matters arc last anyhow? It seems it's a long played out mess that isn't going to really lead anywhere.
  12. You know I love you and completely appreciate your perspective. I honestly forgot about the cartel comment, and has for the 7/11 comment, it was definitely a classist remark rather than racist. My issue with the slanted eyes comment was more with Meredith; she was tip-toeing and trying to play both sides because she didn't want to anger Mary by calling her out on it. Oh and yes, please give me my wonderfully messy spring chicken that is Miss Ashley Darby ANY day over "Little Girl." Little Miss Ashley plays the game like a pro. 😘 @Taoboi Ugh. Jacqueline Laurita. Easily one of my least favorites of all time. Yeah, depending on how things go down, I could see them welcoming Mary back, if she wants to return. If Jacqueline got to come back, and Adrienne Maloof has appeared many times since ditching the S3 reunion, anything is possible. Ah, thanks for the clarification on the Lydias, lol. Yeah, Handmaid's Lydia is someone I continuously want to see killed off, but dammit if the actress isn't incredible!
  13. All I know is, if/when the time comes that Johnny Devil (as opposed to Johnny Angel. See what I did there? lol) needs a good exorcism, you know that dude is gonna be tied to the bed without a shirt on. And the exorcism is sure to last a few days to fill up RC's spank bank for the year.
  14. I see the two clumps of spaghetti they're always throwing at people, hoping something will stick, have been lumped together... i.e. Carter & Paris. They should've at least played up the sexual chemistry between Carter and Quinn at the Christmas gathering.
  15. Yup, Mary was a no-show. Lame. In other SLC news I just read... Jen & Lisa are seated closest to Andy at the reunion. SLC filming resumes this month and Jen's trial is currently set to begin March 7th. Yeah, that's OC in a nutshell. What we can enjoy is viewing who's better at it versus others. Right now, Emily & Gina (and Heather, as a reactionary pot-stirrer) are the best at it. Noella is going too hard too soon, but at least it's setting up situations for the rest of the season. After the first episode where she had a decent debut, she comes off as too thirsty and erratic now. In the weird Jen vs. Noella "feud," I guess I'll be Team Jean because Noella is doing too much. ADDED: I can't help but marvel at the spectacle that is Terry Dubrow's face. It's a fascinating combination of a facelift, fillers, and botox in an effort to combat the dreaded middle aged spread. I suspect a nose job is on the horizon for him. SLC: Looks like I have differing opinions compared to others here, but here's the thing: Season Two, they are ALL being strategic. I don't know what the buzz is in Housewives Twitterland, but for all the poking and prodding of trying to stir the pot, Heather and Whitney (yes, Whitney) are the best at it. After having a solid freshman season and fantastic Season 2 launch, I don't know who likes who now or where this is all headed. I don't know why Mary is the hill Meredith wants to die on. After her kooky but harmless first season, mainly staying put in her pre-Covid bubble known as her hoarder house, she can't keep two thoughts straight and goes after who's ever in her headlights, aside from Meredith, her randomass ride-or-die, who couldn't even call out Mary's racist remarks. Meredith, do better. Especially after the meltdown(s) you've had regarding Jen and your son Brooks. I haven't read up on the backstory of Whitney (Ponzi Scheme 3.0 for Season 3?), but did she really say she spend some $300,000 on that relaunch party, a party that only consisted of her brand ambassadors, some close friends, and her Bravo crowd of "friends." I'd like to know where what 300K was spent, because you know Sheree Whitfield wouldn't be impressed if she came to that. LOL. Heather is still my favorite. Is she working the game to be a viewer favorite? Um, sure? And there are 6 other castmembers doing the exact same. Honestly, I love seeing her family call out the Mormon Church. As someone who grew up in a similar situation (Lutheran; aka watered down Catholic), I love them discussing the hypocrisy and the ridiculousness of the religion. Lisa's entertaining because her scheming and two-facedness is SO apparent and she keeps falling on both those faces. But she's mainly harmless and isn't ripping people off like other people on the show, so I can't hate her for being a lousy TV villain.
  16. Ugh, I am SO behind on this thread (Christmas vacation and now the dreaded return to work!) but I love that you resurrected The B&W for this year! I'm on board with everything you said. I'm still playing catch-up on this thread, but I 100% agree that RHOSLC has become SO alliance-based so quickly, and Aunt Lydia (I forget Lisa's nickname, so I'm going with a Handmaid's Tale reference, ha) is the sloppiest puppeteer master I have ever seen. It's actually hilarious how bad she is at covering her tracks. You know I cannot stand Terri DeMarco, and a huge EYE ROLL to all her efforts to remain relevant to get back on TV. #Gurlbye. It really does seem to be a big clusterfu*k on how to repair RHONY. There's many directions they could go, in terms of axing some and bringing back ex-housewives, or trying with a brand new crop. Precarious situation indeed. RHOBH is indeed the most entertaining but also the one you love to hate since the Coven Crowd is so despicable. Thank the Bravo heavens for Garcelle and Sutton! RHOC has improved from last season for sure, but the jury is still out for me. Much like RHOSLC, it started out strong, but now I'm sitting back wondering how all these newbies and fractured "friendships" (i.e. Shannon and Heather are on the same show again, so let's pretend we randomly want to repair this old friendship... right....) are going to mesh together. The plastic surgeon woman with her perpetually shirtless hubby seems to be on her own island. Okay, back to playing catch-up. I have thoughts about Miss Meredith over in Salt Lake City and this past week's show....
  17. Along that same line, a DAYS episode from June 1996, billed as "Sami's Secrets Revealed" when Kate exposed Sami's drugging of Austin and scheming to keep Carrie & Austin apart. Meanwhile, across town on the Fancy Face, you have Bo & Hope reconciling and him proposing marriage. The episode was a perfect blend of bombshell drama and schmaltzy romance.
  18. Yeah. The whole aspect of it falls flat. When it's a punchline, not a grave concern, it's a fail.
  19. GL: Dinah Marler in 2004 Alan-Michael Spaulding in 2004 (with a ho-hum forgettable recast) AC Mallet in 2005
  20. When Bo & Hope finally reunited in the winter of 2000 after he and the Salem gang rescued her and Stefano from the French castle turret. Or perhaps spring of 2002 after the baby switch was over and Bo & Hope had baby Zack.
  21. I'm in agreement. It looks GOOD.
  22. It's like they're ALL vying for a spinoff of their own. I do love watching Aunt Liz's reactions though.
  23. Love the MP references, lol
  24. Yes! And I loved that line. Not only was it funny, but no one has mentioned the fact that HTS apparently has a large dome over it; hence their not-so-bundled up attire during the cold winter months. The only time this has ever been mentioned was on the very first day HTS was introduced, and Sonny had a throwaway line about it.
