  1. I don't have a specific scene in mind (I know there was one at Cross Creek, outside while resting against a tree), but I remember in general during GL's Reva Clone storyline, there would be moments showing the pure agony Josh was going through as he grappled with the idea that he lost Reva (again) and now he has to deal with this clone thing that he gave the OK to create while in the midst of his bewildered depression.
  2. Well at least if Carter's bachelor pad set is back up, it means we're in for some gratuitous shirtless workout scenes.
  3. A character like Ciara would have flourished 20 years ago on DAYS during the Last Blast era and beyond. In recent years, the closest they ever got was when JJ the cop shot a hooded Theo... right in the middle of Horton Town Square of course, oy...
  4. Sigh... a little bit of effort goes a long way. If only they'd dress these folks more appropriately to reflect what time of year it is. Add to that, whenever they are supposed to be outside, why can't they add in a track of ambient outdoor noise? They'll do it occasionally but not consistently, and it's usually too low in volume. That would be good to see. I've always loved the complexities of Nicole being her own worst enemy, giving into impulses that she knows are ultimately wrong, and sometimes biting off her own nose to spite her face. I can't hate on Nicole for overstepping and strongly hinting at Jada aborting the baby because that's a real-life thought process that anyone would secretly wish for; she just happened to blurt it outloud.
  5. Hilarious! I saw that last night. It is kind of a head scratcher that she gets an official "friend of" status; she's lucky she's actual friends with the OG's (The GEB's) in real life to squeeze into this title. Maybe perhaps something will actually happen between her vs. The Grande Dame down the line...?
  6. Um yeah. THAT was a surprise line of dialogue to say the least.
  7. @Cat @DaytimeFan Total agreement in both your assessments of Potomac. I loved that Karen and Ashley did not falter with stance that two wrongs don't make it right, no matter which party they like more than the other. The same cannot be said for triflin' Robyn. Good grief, she had the audacity to say Karen was in the best position to diffuse the situation, as she literally sit back with a grin across her face like a sow enjoying a mud bath, her camera rolling while shouting accusatory remarks at Wendy. Yeah, cuz *that* will help diffuse the situation. Meanwhile, I hope Juan enjoyed the footage of her caressing the hot shirtless dude on the beach like a sow in heat [Side note: Sow is my word of the day]. I loved the Karen/Ashley/Candiace dynamic of sticking up for what's right and not choosing sides. Mia has caused the unthinkable -- she's making me like Candiace again while softening up to Wendy. LOL at Charrisse on the beach. I literally commented on the same moment to hubby... "she always looks so stank and sloppy." She looks perpetually uncomfortable. And last week's champagne bar business proposal.... lawd!!! I'll give her credit for taking up being Mia's "personal assistant" or whatever and texting Ashley/Candiace that they can still stay at the house. I'm not even going to bother focusing on Mia. She makes no rational sense and she's doing it all for the cameras. Chuck her to the curb.
  8. Woof I've been following him for years. He used to sell good workout wear too.
  9. At first glance, one might think y'all were talking about wiener size up in here.
  10. All the more reason why Karen and Ashley (and Monique) remain my favorites.
  11. Agree 100% about Monique. She is missed and needed. Bravo casted well when they added her in the 2nd season and Candiace in the 3rd. However, the additions of Wendy and Mia have been a miss and a miss. I can't imagine who of the remaining core four would leave next, but they definitely need to prepare in advance and find stronger, better women to interact with the vets.
  12. Times like these are a reminder of how many of our great soap vets show up to work, year after year, despite being long past the typical retirement age, as well as coming in with aches, pains, and obstacles just to make it to the stage. Head honchos at so many soaps throughout the years bared the brunt of fan outrage when longtime senior members weren't heavily featured, when in reality, the actors themselves needed to take it easy. I am grateful that John Aniston continued to make the effort, despite his condition. As so many behind-the-scenes folks have mentioned, he clearly was in pain during his final years. It is nice to know he is at peace now.
  13. Amen, lol. She's deelightful, cheeseball acting choices 'n all! It wouldn't be our Queen of the Night without it.
  14. RIP John Aniston. Despite Victor's sometimes surly demeanor, Aniston always seemed like a warm, cuddly guy. Another end of an era. I agree they better do right by his tribute at DAYS.
  15. I’m hoping this wonderful news emboldens the Dems of Georgia to ensure we’re a 51/49 majority come December.
  16. Side note: does my memory deceive me or did we see a snippet of Eli, Lani, and the twins visiting Salem for Christmas?
  17. Crazy how Maree Cheatham is still actively doing work, yet DAYS never thought to bring her back in a recurring basis?
  18. Nailed it. They wanted to check a box for representation without doing any real work.
  19. Exactly. That's been on my mind in recent months (years?) with this whiplash writing of one dramatic crisis after another with NO aftermath. No trauma, no reflection, no time to sit back, breath, re-assess, and really have ANY character growth. For Christ's sake, how many characters had their minds & bodies taken over by Satan this past year?!? Add to that, new characters introduced are poorly developed without any specific character traits. I mean, who IS Jada?
  20. Seeing present-day photos of Burton reminds me of how important it is to always wear SPF on your face, no matter what time of year it is...
  21. I'm down for Heather migrating to BH, and I'd be down for Cynthia Bailey migrating to BH. That would be quite the game-changer and a much needed shakeup to the Beverly Hills roster. (Side note: OC *might* suffer as a result, but let's first see what happens this season with Tamra's return & Taylor joining) BTW: Hubby told me he read Garcelle announced she's leaving BH. Is that true??
  22. I love my messy Ashley, but that was just sloppy work on her part. Do better, Ash. Candiace's talking head read was funny though. Cha Cha lying on the phone was so obvious. Even in her lonely champagne room all bloated and gassy on the bubbly, she can remember holding Robyn back. Agreed on Mia. And three seasons in and Wendy still isn't a good fit with this group. It seems too forced to have Mia & Wendy there. That's why I can let Charrisse's return slide because there's actual history and ongoing beef.
  23. May I ask for those who follow the polls and talking heads, what is the general prediction regarding Ron Johnson vs. Mandela Barnes in Wisconsin? It seems people think Ron's gonna hold onto the spot. Perhaps it's because I'm in the very blue capital city, but there is so much more enthusiasm to get Ron out.
  24. Sure, with about 25 extra pounds of pure muscle, but I’ll take the compliment 😆
  25. Yet your Facebook profile pic is of someone else. Hmm 🤔 lol
