  1. Catching up... Sigh... After watching the Jersey special, I REALLY hope something changes this year. Another repeat of the last two seasons will get old by the 3rd episode in. One thing that was mentioned that only Theresa spoke the truth about: EVERY housewife knew damn well something was going down at that dumb Posche Show Bravo setup.
  2. Me thinks Ramona will join the ranks of NeNe and Vicki as being the last original cast member standing on her series. LuAnn clearly does not realize she brings almost nothing to the table these days. NY can most certainly go on without her. Take their generous offer, Countless; you've got no leverage whatsoever.
  3. I'm liking Lydia too, but she's gotta bring that hippie mother around more often Heather & Terry's "fight" was a perfectly manufactured tiff for the sake of the cameras. Blah.... No wonder her acting career never took off.
  4. I mean... At least with Jill Zarin's one on one, Andy at least tried to appear to be diplomatic (with a few expressions accidentally showing us that he thinks she looney), but this mess with Sheree just continued to make her look like a damn delusional fool. It's like The Emperor's New Clothes and this bitch still doesn't realize she's naked.
  5. Yes. But don't take away Kathy's impressive eye rolling. That kind of perfection cannot be mimicked. The one time I thought Cindy was funny was during that one point at the reunion when Alex was literally panting out of breath after an argument and Cindy snarls, "What, are you a lapdog?"
  6. Back in summer 2011 after NY's finale aired, Bravo let it be known right away that they had heard the viewers' complaints in how NY had become too dark and how the 3-part (or was it 2-part?) bicker fest reunion was so unpleasant. It sounded like their decision to dump 4 out of 7 ladies was due to backstage theatrics (Jill) and viewer complaints or disinterest. After all, I don't think anyone cared one iota when Cindy was let go. Kelly should've been committed after season 3.
  7. It saddens me to see the lack of interest in NYC. Even the hubby doesn't really care about the Big Apple ladies (although he cares more about OC than I do so it balances out) but I can understand why, after the dark season 4 and overall disappointing season 5 (which I turned out to love after the first few lackluster weeks). Seasons 1-3 are basically the epitome of this franchise and anything afterward is just trying to hold onto and/or recreate buzz around this group of ladies. Still, I'm excited to see Pinot Singer trotting her loudmouth, inconsiderate self all over NYC for some turtle time and snarkfests, along with all the other wonderfully self-entitled but low-paid dames.
  8. The whole Heather/Terry bickering is so forced. The things she fights about are so petty and pointless... in reality, she wouldn't sweat the small stuff. The man is loaded and is the father of your 4 children. Shut up or leave. Ugh, she's annoying and this Adrienne/Paul Bickersons 2.0 is a bore. Okay, I'm liking Lydia, but what's winning me over is her MOTHER! LOL Is it wrong that I hope she falls off the wagon and becomes a stoner again? I didn't realize that Tamra & Vicki were also in the wine business. Clearly, this Housewives brand of wine hasn't been a hit like Teresa's or Ramona's.
  9. Pretty sure the blurred face on the right was Lisa. The person on the left was the person that never made it to air. Ramona > LuAnn because Ramona has a much bigger onscreen presence, brings ALOT more memorable drama to the series, has made a new business venture based off her onscreen love of Pinot, has more catchy, memorable aspects about her (from "Turtle Time" to her crazyass eyes)... If we wanted to make a comparison, Ramona vs. LuAnn is like NeNe vs. Sheree (or Kim vs. Sheree, however you look at it) in making the most out of this Real Housewives experience. (Although I love LuAnn's "Chic Cest La Vie" song, not gonna lie)
  10. Oh, yes I totally forgot how NeNe mentioned the need to recast a handful of OC ladies. So so true. And I loved her point about NJ's darkness as well. Yay! NYC is finally filming! Can't wait to see those ladies back onscreen. I think NeNe omitted any Beverly Hills lady as being "boss" because it's relatively new compared to the other cities which are up to season 5, 6, 7, etc... Although I did detect a lil vibe when she mentioned Lisa's name, like she doesn't care for her but is smart enough not to diss her.
  11. I loved NeNe's interview! A few topics to mention: I liked how NeNe explained how the "veterans" of each franchise are each the "boss" of their own show, since they were there from the very beginning and saw all the ups and downs and brought the show's successes and had to see castmembers come & go (NeNe mentioned DeShawn, but no mention of Lisa... in fact, in that clip of the pilot, Lisa's face was blurred. Weird.) New Jersey technically has 3 bosses, but Teresa stands out from the other two. I like how NeNe was genuinely sad to see Kim go, since they were in it together since the beginning, and despite their blow-ups, they were the 2 most successful faces of their series that help put it on the map. But DAMN, I loved how NeNe admitted she wished she hadn't introduced Sheree to the producers. NeNe was spot on with that shady lady, and I'm glad she mentioned that Sheree's presence is what brought down the morale of the show behind the scenes, because you could sense a huge shift in "alliances" this season, which was much needed, before it became too dark like NYC S4. So NeNe was talking about Porsha needing to be let go, but now she takes it back. I liked her openness in her opinions of why she thought she needed to go (Kordell) at the time. And I like how NeNe still stands by her opinion that the Kenya/Walter relationship was a fake setup for the sake of the show. No comment from Andy on that one.
  12. Atlanta: 3 New Jersey: 2 New York: 3 Beverly Hills: 1&2 (I can't decide; BH is always consistently good)
  13. Oh this is going to be fun. More delusion and baseless claims. It'll be just like Jill Zarin's interview where Andy is sitting there with a lil smirk on his face while Sheree is answering, where you just know he's thinking "this bitch is bat [!@#$%^&*] crazy".
  14. Similar, but different. On OC, it's "bullying." On NYC, it's "systematic bullying." P.S. I love how Bethenny asked for a clarification on what the difference is at the reunion.
  15. Yes, they should do to all what they did with Beverly Hills' Lisa, where she is featured in another series (who's number of episodes is half what a season of Housewives is), while still keeping her on the parent series. We watched the first episode of Don't Be Tardy, and we realized we weren't interested in another season of her endless rich-person-problem whining. It's gotten old, and like others have said, is best served as part of an ensemble cast, instead of a whole half-hour dedicated to one person's bitching. We didn't even entertain the thought of watching Kandi's show (singing competition shows are so overly saturated on TV) and I'm sure we'll watch no more than one episode of Phaedra's upcoming show. Once again, a whole half-hour of "southern belle" sayings will grow tiresome real quick. I definitely think the reunion is what sealed Kenya's fate. She bombed hardcore. Meanwhile, Porsha's ironic display of devotion to her husband helped keep her around and finally gave the audience something to talk about.
  16. Oh Kenya, I *wanted* to love you so bad, but you dug your own grave. P.S. I totally have Gone With The Wind Fabulous on my playlist. But since I have video editing software, I make audio files of everything I like without pay 1 cent.
  17. Aviva's back for RHONY! http://www.realitytea.com/2013/04/26/aviva-drescher-signs-on-for-last-minute-return-to-real-housewives-of-new-york-visiting-boston-marathon-bombing-victims/
  18. Jesus Christ, her ex-husband is 82?!? Didn't know that...
  19. Seasons 2 and 3 are my favorite, but in terms of "quality" where there's better characterization and better relationship development between friends and lovers, I'd say 2 is best as 3 is pretty quick-paced. I do love that innocence of Season 1 though, especially once they find their groove when Amanda joins. Soapfave06, I agree with unnecessary conflicts in season 4, and I *totally* thought the same thing when recently rewatching when Hayley gets mad at Allison for going into his ex-wife's room, like it was some sacred shrine... only to reveal in the very next scene that their marriage was loveless and the room was only there for Brooke's benefit. Made no sense other than to have conflict between 1 commercial break. And yes, the personality shift in Taylor from season 5 to 6 goes from edgy east coast bitch who's a force to be reckoned with... to a flighty, cartoon dingbat. Despite this drastic personality change, I thought Rinna pulled off both personalities perfectly. What was everyone's favorite and least favorite versions of Allison Parker? I think Courtney Thorne-Smith is such a dynamic underrated actress. I'm not gonna lie, I love how season 1 is basically The Allison Parker Show. Every nuance of her life was discussed ad nauseum, especially the first half when it was self-contained episodes. Season 3 is Allison at her all-time hot-mess self, being an alcoholic and then a power-bitch in heels as President of D&D. I love how she gets her strength back in season 4 (and my husband LOVES her HAIR in season 4, ha!) but I HATE that she gives up her job so easily and takes a minimum wage waitressing job at Shooters and then gets involved with Jake. Allison was established as being such a determined woman who wanted to make something great of herself; to have her working at Shooters for an entire year was ridiculous IMO.
  20. I agree. My problem with OC is that they're all pretty vile, rotten, superficial bitches with no one real stand-out star (there's no NeNe, Lisa, Bethenny, Teresa, etc.) It's just a sea of vapid blondes and 1 has-never-been actress. And that new girl? Yikes. I'll refrain myself from saying mean, but funny, remarks about how she looks. My favorite is still Gretchen, but it's really like choosing the lesser of all the evils. What the eff was with Vicki getting all bent out of shape because Gretchen cracked a joke (a joke, get it? Like funny, ha-ha? Oh, I look forward to Teresa returning...) when Vicki said "my baby". Chillax Miss Piggy!
  21. Interesting, thanks! I love this. You have a way with words.
  22. She can't pose to save her life. Caroline still has that "twist of lemonface" pursed lips look.
  23. Oy, this Twitter desperation reminds me of another Atlanta lady once rumored to be joining.... but I won't go there. This is sad. I'm wondering who'll bite at the chance to do this "exposing" of Miss Leakes. Are Howyoudoin' Wendy Williams and NeNe on good terms? I can never keep track of that drag queen's friends or foes.
  24. I agree. Danielle was frighteningly paranoid, but boy did she provide for some great trainwreck drama. I hope the continuous rumors are true that she'll be appearing at some point this upcoming season. YAY! A NeNe spin-off! Imagine all the new one-liners we can quote!
  25. Beaver's Ass LMAO! I'd love for Caroline and Jacqueline's dirty laundry to finally be aired out, especially the twitterholic Jacq. I also would love it if it were exposed just how thirsty sis-in-law Melissa was to get on this show and the lengths she promised to go to to be relevant for the show.
