  1. Yep, I agree. There's no reason to show Blaze ever again, and my hatred of Natalia continues. Who in the hell chooses these repeats? Violet? Because GH never gets it right. -- Lots of great comments on these pages about Trina, Gio, Lulu, and others. Still, I don't think they're going to listen to any of us. Have you seen the streaming numbers? Last week, GH was number 1 on Hulu for most of the week and in the top 5 every day. I'm sure they see those numbers and tell themselves how awesome it's all going.
  2. This Christmas episode is SO BAD it's awesome. I'm loving that every scene, every line is a laugh riot! -- The camera panning those Xmas ornaments like there's some Horton family tradition involved. -- Brooke pretending she decorated that tree. -- Katie showing up like she's dressed for a night at the strip club. -- Zende looking like he hasn't put down the fork since Halloween while RJ is nowhere in sight. -- The kids are off in some other room, as usual. So much "It's all about family" while the kids are nowhere in sight. -- Taylor giving Ridge his pen from "our first Xmas together." Dumbest psychiatrist ever. -- Carter and Hope under the mistletoe, without a single ounce of chemistry. -- Katie presenting Brooke with a plate of food, and Brooke proceeds to eat a grape. A single grape. -- Brooke tells Katie she's "not giving up on Ridge" -- the day after catching him with Taylor. -- Taylor telling Ridge "I know this must be a tough Xmas for you" while Ridge replies "Because I lose my best friend." Taylor has to add "And Brooke." -- Steffy telling Taylor "You're home...where you belong...and Dad agrees." -- Doormat Brooke texting Ridge a Merry Christmas with an XO. -- Chubby Zende reminding everyone that it's really all about the birth of Jesus. -- Singing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" without any of the kids around. The entire show was an epic fail, but worth watching if you laugh at all of it.
  3. Back at you! Have a wonderful holiday!
  4. I'm halfway through the episode, and I have half a mind to turn it off. The Leo stuff is worse and worse all the time. It's a complete waste to make any attempt to redeem that character when you write scenes like this. Yep. Its bad enough to waste DH as Hattie in these scenes, but also making Rafe a putz? Leo turns every scene into some drag show escapade.
  5. We'll have to disagree on this. TBH, I really don't understand your point, especially when Stafford gets the "she's always gonna do her thing" evaluation.
  6. Yeah, not exactly a good look for Lulu. Do the writers even realize how this makes her look? How awful this treatment of Rocco is?
  7. I have complaints about Y&R, but I don't agree with this one. I don't see any evidence the actors are phoning it in.
  8. Marla Adams was as good as it gets. When a short flashback can make a viewer feel so much, you know how incredible she was. Extraordinary.
  9. Am I seeing things, or has the actor playing Zende gained a considerable amount of weight? For a couple days, I've thought it was the shirt he's wearing, but now I wonder if he's packed on the pounds.
  10. I can list dozens of problems with the other 3 soaps. Still, none of them can compare with the mess that is BOLD. There is no worse show on daytime.
  11. Found it really bizarre to end today's show on Brennan instead of on Cody.
  12. While I appreciate all the sets on GH, Nina's apartment is a fail to me. It's too big, too bland. Looks more like a hotel lobby than a living space.
  13. I think you're right about them. They were a good fit for characters who at first glance didn't seem to be one. They worked well together, and I blame the show for ignoring them. Now we're supposed to feel something about a relationship we haven't seen for months. Dreadful is right. I can't stand it when a soap pretends an in-town "university" like PCU is some major player in sports or academia. No, they're not playing Oregon, Georgia, or Notre Dame and they don't have Heisman hopefuls on the team.
  14. So Brooke goes on camera 4 minutes after she's named CEO of FC? Yeah, businesses operate this way. LOLOL And now, 5 minutes after that, she decides to screw over her own daughter? This show continues to be major suckage.
  15. They're trying hard with the Joss Mourns Dex stuff, but none of it resonates. We just haven't seen enough of that couple in recent months. It's possible I wouldn't care to watch this even if we had, but that's a moot point. GH dropped the ball. I also don't think Eden McCoy is doing much with these scenes. Not seeing a grief-stricken partner, that's for sure. Doesn't help when -- for some godawful reason -- spends the day at the Xmas tree park so she can run into Cam for a really awkward conversation.
  16. -- I admit I don't like Sonny, but that's hardly the whole point, because I also dislike the way Maurice Benard is playing Sonny. The truth is that his acting skills have really regressed, and he's just not the same performer he once was. He struggles -- mightily at times -- to remember lines, and it's annoying and awkward and hard to watch. -- Do I think the order of the head writers' names matters? No, I don't. I think those names are alternated, and I don't believe their individual skills sets are attached to anything regarding the credits.
  17. MEK has been terrible. It feels like he's playing a different character every day.
  18. I don't, either. Joss with those Xmas presents for Dex is so lame and empty. I feel nothing, and I blame the writers. If we'd seen a better and consistent love story between them, we might care. -- That coffee warehouse set will never not be hilarious.
  19. Bell clearly handled it this way -- intentionally having Brooke and Katie tell Electra nothing about why she was fired -- but it's beyond ridiculous. You mean to tell me that a female employee in this situation wouldn't deserve to know those photos were out there??? GMAB. And we're supposed to believe FC can't withstand the gossip of a couple nude photos when everyone at Forrester has already acted an ass and done worse???
  20. I agree. I don't think she's as important to GH as Frankie Frame was to AW, but social media and the internet means the blowup over a Felicia death would be huge. The scenes at the end of the show with Sasha and Tracy were nice, but that opening scene was awful. All that screaming over eggs made Tracy look insane, and I think that was overdone. Thank you. This show doesn't need Martin any more than it needs Cyrus. I don't think MEK ever fit on GH, and that's one salary I'd dump.
  21. Beemer was hilarious as JPL in that clip. He nailed it. Stacy Haiduk was the biggest fail -- that had zero resemblance to Paul Telfer.
  22. I agree. Bell doesn't really care about any minority. He just uses them to tap dance for the white folk.
