Well, I was in deep lust with him on American Housewife, and that he was so dense and funny at it made it all even better.

-- I like it that DAYS brought Hope back to town after the funeral service. This way, her character took center stage rather than get lost in all the character returns. -- Peyton Meyer is doing a great job as Doug III. Did any of you see him on the sitcom American Housewife? He played the dim-witted jock bf named Trip and was hilarious.

True -- like how to ham it up for the next scene.

The only way to enjoy any of this is to laugh at it.

I'm not sure, and that just goes to today's dialogue being so awkward. There are ways to remind us they're related and how without being odd. I'm OK with a Gio retcon since what they've done with the character so far is a big nothing. Still, attaching him to BLQ is a mess. I've grown to really dislike AS and her rules for playing Brook Lynn. I want people like her off the show. I agree with you -- Dom is a good 45 and a really good looking guy.

-- These "Propping Natalia" scenes are too much. Do these writers really think we're buying this kind of redemption? "I'm not that person any more" doesn't work for me, especially with Kristina AGAIN saying the baby felt like hers and Blaze's. -- TJ and Curtis constantly referring to each other as "Uncle" and "Nephew" is awkward as hell. -- SMH at Dante going to Sonny -- of all people -- for advice on how to deal with his kids. -- And no, I don't give a rat's ass if Charlotte is returned to her mother.

-- Another good episode today, except for Leo who came close to ruining it. We really needed to see HIM in the Stephen scenes? I cannot understand the RC fascination for Leo, a character who always has to be "on." -- I despise Melissa Reeves as a human, but to me she is Jennifer. I don't see anyone refusing to watch the show because she's playing the character. A recast might work, but I do not like Cady McClain in the part at all. I think she's over-the-top and melodramatic and just wrong in every way.

-- Another bad thing in the Carter/Hope story is how stupid they are to think that contract -- and getting Ridge to sign it -- would be enough to take over the entire damn company. I mean, that's a joke. -- So Il Giardino takes reservations? At lunch, no less? 😂 After Sheila acted perplexed and lost about the reservation and Will and Electra not having one, she gave them a table not even three feet away from them. I was howling,

These greenscreens...just make it stop. Yes, they're better since Ed Scott has joined the show, but they're still not good.

Yeah, we've all been waiting for this, and we've heard all along how special it would be. And now to see the service rushed like this? Maybe they'll surprise us the rest of the week.

I LOVE that scene. Ronn Moss is all kinds of bad, all levels of bad. There's chewing the scenery and there's CHEWING THE SCENERY! Only Ronn Moss rose to that kind of do the damn thing!

Yeah, they should have had a church setting. That outdoor set was too small and didn't work for me. You bring back all those characters and then smoosh them into a cramped space where they're on top of one another. I also wish the service came a couple days later. It all feels rushed and the pacing is off. Peacock had a Black Friday sale of subscribing for an entire year for $19.99, so hopefully some lapsed viewers came back.

I had to LOL at the ridiculousness on yesterday's show -- Phyllis sitting in CRIMSON LIGHTS and complaining about Sharon showing her face. I hope to God the writers were tongue in cheek with all of that.

-- They can try all they want to redeem Natalia, but none of it works for me. -- Rick Hearst was again awesome today in those scenes with Molly. I actually thought Kristen Vaganos failed to reach his level of excellence.

Huh? Aren't you watching on Peacock? Why are Stephen, Lucas, and Shawn all wearing suits? Do all people get dressed up in their finery to drive to Salem for a funeral?

Carter's declaration of love to Hope....geez, was that sappy and awful, compounded by that sappy and awful soundtrack. We're supposed to believe this is some all-time love match for the ages, when it's more like cup-a-soup put in the microwave for a minute. BOLD can also miss me with Ridge bemoaning the loss of his "best friend" who was "like family." GMAB.

-- That is true. I still didn't like it at all. Those scenes should have drawn tears (at least for me -- I cry easily), but I felt nothing. -- I have to agree with everything else you pointed out. Liz hasn't connected with Marlena for 38 years? Steve would really climb through that window? Liz in her late 70s and Marie in her mid-80s would still act like teenage girls? Pretty ridiculous.

Like almost everyone here, I've enjoyed these past few episodes -- the returns, the emotions, the nods to history. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I think Susan Seaforth Hayes was bad in Friday's episode (where she learned that Doug died). Am I the only one who found her oveer-the-top and hammy and pretty awful? I feel for Hayes and all she's been through. I really do, and I know how difficult those scenes and these episodes must have been for her. Still, I don't think it worked.

-- Awesome Lulu and Rocco scenes. Both actors nailed it. Like others, I was a little confused and disappointed at Dominic Z's choice to play Dante as a little cold. That was weird, especially since DZ is usually so good. -- Maurice Benard was lost today. The struggle was real, and it's no fun watching him search for his lines. -- Alexis vs Ric was great television, although I'm team Ric. Alexis has been wrong consistently on everything regarding that baby. -- Good to see Genie Francis back, but Laura's scenes with Lucky were nothing special. -- That Quartermaine mansion foyer is bad. As I went into detail last month, they've remodeled it multiple times, and they cannot get it right.
