  1. Yeah, what restaurants have sofas right next to the dining tables?
  2. I just can't believe how much this soap-within-a-soap thing is eating up the show.
  3. He was excellent. That's why I spoke up for him recently when I saw those negative posts about him here. Those comments made no sense to me. Yeah, the show clearly has given up on the Jagger character and did that 180 on Jagger's way out the door.
  4. Claire's grinning is beyond obnoxious. Nikki has been sitting at that table at the GCAC for hours and there's still not a shred of anything to eat on that table.
  5. LOL I know what you mean. But you do get my point, don't you? If you don't, that's fine. I'm not going to spend any more time or space on the damn credits.
  6. I'm the person who originally posted the question as to whether or not we need those posts. Since then, I've seen that multiple people want them and think they're fine, so I'm good with that. I'm really fine with no compromise. As you said, just scroll on by. But what I can do without? Posts that THANK the poster listing the credits. Seriously, do we need to do that? On occasion, I can understand thanking someone for information shared, or for some interesting insight. I don't think we need to thank people every time they post something.
  7. Not cute at all, and definitely frazzled and erratic. I stick to what I said after that shreiking, hyena-like performance: Cady McClain was AWFUL. Yes, I despise Melissa Reeves as much as anyone here, but she would not have played those lines that way. CM constantly performs on this show as if she's on a Broadway stage, playing to the rafters. It's not Jennifer and it's not good acting. She ruined those scenes. I did not recognize Jennifer at all in those scenes. I'd rather see Reeves back for these very limited appearances. I'll complain about what a horrible person she is, but I'll at least be complaining about her and not Jennifer.
  8. The way sets on this show are used continues to be a mess. Nate had dinner with Audra at the GCAC, then went to Crimson Lights for coffee (where he ran into Lily). I mean, seriously? Who goes out for dinner in a fancy restaurant and then stops by a coffee shop for a brew? They do this all the time, and it draws attention to the terrible sets problem at YR. I'm fine with the CL set, and I do understand the need to have characters run into each other, but it's done too often. These are supposed to be incredibly busy business executives. (Yeah, I realize all they do is switch titles and do company takeovers), but these casual strolls into Crimson Lights -- when management would have access to good coffee at their business -- is maddening. And don't get me started with the foot traffic at CL. Shouldn't that place be closing for lack of business?
  9. So Kristina thinks she should have had a voice in naming the baby? GH really is making the moves to make Kristina more and more unlikable.
  10. -- I do not want to see this. No thanks. -- The Who Should We Cut lists are interesting, but by the time everyone weighs in, there's no one left on the show. -- In other news, why is Cyrus back? I know Frank loves Jeff Korber, but come on. Kill me now with the "good guy with a Bible" stuff.
  11. What do you consider to be those fine things underway? Laura helping to redeem Heather? Blaze as a rock star? Having us wonder what the purpose was for Jagger and Brennan? Seeing the promise of teen storylines that quickly disappeared? I'm not saying that CVE is the answer, but Mulcahey was not working as part of a team. I simply think GH is better since he left.
  12. I am no Melissa Reeves fan, and in fact, I find her reprehensible. Still, Cady McClain is NOT Jennifer Horton. She's just not. Everything about her performance is overdone and overbaked. The truth is, she's awful in the role. That meltdown was out-of-character absurdity.
  13. -- OK, but don't we all know when the show airs? And can't we tell that the show is about to be discussed when it's actually being discussed? LOL I'll stop being a troll on this now. It's kind of funny that we're not talking about the show itself and instead about the credits and crew. -- Regarding the show, I don't find Jordan robotic, nor do I find Brad and Terry robotic, either. I liked seeing Brad and Terry again, although I hate the idea that it's more tokenism. -- Still, I like the GH we've been seeing for the past couple weeks more than the "Mulcahey months" that were all over the place and in many ways maddening.
  14. -- Bill's reaction to Luna kissing him could not have been more underwhelming or ridiculous. No one in his situation would act that way. -- Rebecca Budig as Steffy's MOTHER is laughable. -- Worst moment of the show was Steffy yelling "You kissed Hope???" to Finn, when that represented nothing he said.
  15. But again, for what? For names we see on our TV screens? The daily writers and director are listed on every episode.
  16. Asking respectfully -- Why do we need the credits posted here every day? They're listed on the episode, which we all watch. It's not as if we're getting some information we don't already have.
  17. hehe I knew you'd want #1 because of the chest hair. But yeah, I'm always willing to share.
  18. Yikes. This is sad. No words for posts like this.
  19. I asked AI about the DNA test -- and it seems it is possible to get a paternity test analysis at home: "Currently, most take-home DNA tests require you to send your sample to a lab for analysis. This is because the equipment and expertise needed to accurately analyze DNA are typically not available for home use. The lab processes the sample and provides detailed results. However, there are some at-home kits that offer limited analysis without sending the sample to a lab. These kits usually provide basic information, such as paternity tests using non-traditional DNA samples like hair clippings or toothbrushes. For comprehensive and accurate results, sending the sample to a lab is still the standard practice."
  20. 2 Although 4 and 5 would be incredible consolation prizes.
  21. I think one of the highlights of this week was Mac accepting Cody as his son and saying that he loves him. Josh Kelly and John J. York have chemistry as father and son, and played those scenes to perfection. The other actors in the scene were also really good. I thought all of it was pretty moving.
  22. Goodie. At least we know the shirt is coming off again.
  23. I don't think it's fair to say "the lesbian is being sacrificed" since we know that MANY other characters and plots were sacrificed. Because of writer changes and 180-degree turns, GH has been all over the place. I understand your point about ratings and the Nielsens. And yes, GH does beat all the other shows you mentioned, but it's also much more expensive to produce. Regardless, my point about the ratings was that although Kraze might have brought GH new viewers, they did nothing to stop the slide in overall viewership. I honestly don't think ANY couple or pairing is going to spike ratings considerably. Years ago, bringing back a soap star or a big name guaranteed a jump in viewership. No longer. What can I say? The way GH has handled gay couples and relationships over the years is maddening and disgusting. I'm angry about it. Did that get me to stop watching? No. That's the power and addiction of soap opera.
  24. Even if that's true, it certainly didn't help the ratings. We all know what's happened to the numbers in the last few months. I agree with others that Kate Mansi could have handled this easily, and much better. Why she chose another route, we'll never know. Maybe she is like some of us -- including me -- who can't walk away from internet trolls or comments that are off-base. Maybe she was fine with Kristina being bi/gay but didn't like the Blaze story as written. Maybe she just didn't get along with JGL and the feeling was mutual. I never liked the Kraze story. A female partner for Kristina, fine. But I never bought that Blaze was a musical star or performed in concert. I never bought that she was popular on social media. JGL did not work for me in that role. I'm gay and I'm glad she's gone. Sadly, her pathetic and disgusting homophobic mother is still around. I don't think Frank is keeping the homophobe around. He's slobbering over Eva LaRue and -- once again -- COMPLETELY ignoring what fans think and want. I've seen posts on X from soap fans I just about always agree with slamming Kate Mansi. I've stayed out of it -- rare for me. I think they're wrong on so many levels, but like KM responding, it's a losing game if I counter anyone.
