  1. I saw that. He said he's "well-hung." LOL I couldn't get over how flawless Cooper's skin is.
  2. Are you telling us that you're an insider? That you have inside, first-hand information on Griffith?
  3. The sets problem is horrific. If Ed Scott does nothing else, I hope he works on this. Another hallmark of Josh Griffith writing. He gets credit for knowing Y&R history, but this is a perfect example of what he does with it. Look at the entire Mamie return. Did any of it makes sense? No one. That whole scene was embarrassing and made no sense. Why would a bride turn every element of her wedding over to her ancient father? The worse was hearing Victor say "Leave it all to me" when Devon and Abby said "What about the guest list?" HUH??? Also implied was that A LOT of people would be invited, and we all know they're not going to fill up a ballroom. Is this going to be the surprise return of the ranch?
  4. Not trying to be difficult, but that does not explain why Ed Scott was hired at Y&R. Multiple sources are talking about this very thing, and I hope there is fire to follow this smoke. In the meantime, I expect Y&R to look better on screen. The show looks good right now, but as I've repeated ad nauseum, the sets problem is so bad it takes me out of scenes, and so does the static filming that has characters sitting or standing and never moving during the scene.
  5. I'll ask again -- why hire Ed Scott if he's not there to make changes? It makes no sense to add another salary for no reason.
  6. All of that is true. Poor Brooke. But still, the STANDOUT MOMENT of the episode -- even more than the chakra bull -- was hearing about Donna at her "weekly chess meeting." I mean, that is coffee-spitting stuff!
  7. There was chemistry between Cody and Brad. Can't deny it. Same. It made no sense -- none -- for Portia to verbally discipline Brad because she saw him hug Cody. I get that the writers want to give Brad more reason to dislike Portia and make moves against her, but they need to do better than this. That verbal reprimand made no sense. Disagree with this. I think Van Hansis' acting is natural and authentic. I prefer that to obvious emoting.
  8. And you know this...how? And if it's true, what is he there for?
  9. Ed Scott knows how to make a show look good. What I need to know is if he has any power/influence regarding the sets. Characters move from Society to Crimson Lights to the GCAC, then walk in the park before returning to Society and then to CL for a late night coffee. It's maddening. There's so little camera movement it's unreal. We get characters seated at a table or at a bar and then not moving for the entire scene. It all reeks of blocking that's intended to get scenes taped quickly and over with. So can Ed Scott make changes here or no? Another problem....most soaps have "out of sight out of mind" kids, but I can accept that more easily when people are at HOME. On Y&R, they're in restaurants all the time, and that makes missing kids a problem. Shouldn't we at least pretend that Victoria spends time with Katie and Johnny? Mariah and Tessa wanted a baby SO badly, but now? They're whining about losing their nanny as they eat out at Society. Isn't being away from Aria all day long enough for them?
  10. I read it was a prosthetic.
  11. I wish I saw some chemistry between Dec and Molly, but I don't.
  12. Amen to that. Others have put this Chandler stuff in its place, but I'm glad to see someone else mentioning that the guy is not a serious actor. His smirking and grinning ruined so many scenes over so many years that I lost count. Yes, he's good looking and has great pecs. So do about 50,000 other actors looking for work -- and they can act without smirking.
  13. 🤣😂🤣 I'm not exaggerating, either. RSW always looks good, but to get technical, his muscles seem fuller today. I mean, it's worth this Body & Soul mess.
  14. True, but then again, the episode was so bad that I Thank God for that. Robert Scott Wilson was looking FIRE. Sorry for fanboying, but I don't think he's ever looked better. Sex on a stick.
  15. If Violet the Brat will be shipped off with Finn, I don't know why we're getting these scenes at all. Wouldn't it be easier to just say at some point that Finn is out of rehab and Violet left to live with him? I haven't heard anything about the show bringing Finn back, either, but we all know Frank has some deep love for Michael Easton. If Violet is just some prop to give Chase and Brook Lynn something to do, that says everything about Chase and Brook Lynn. Disagree completely. Jonathan Jackson is acting the hell out of what they're writing for him since Lucky returned to Port Charles.
  16. All of this is on point -- ALL of it. I especially appreciate your comments about Will, who's written so absurdly that I have no words. Will doesn't represent in any way a teenager, nor does he represent someone who's grown up around wealth. I don't know what they're going for with him, but it isn't realistic or sustainable. No one with those looks and money would act that way. No one that age would act that way. He's like some boy who grew up in a plastic bubble and who has no idea how to behave and interact with others. In this way, it's like he's on the spectrum and is clueless about social cues. The one thing they've been good at? Making sure we know where his interests don't lie. So what does Bradley Bell do? Put him in a fashion house where we know he doesn't belong. None of this is criticism of Crew Morrow, who's doing a great job with the crap they've given him.
  17. Thanks for the information. It certainly does impact the stories we see. My only point was that the average viewer age has not doubled in 20 years. It's been high for a long time. The problem is that by telling stories with that 65+ demo in mind, you get planned obsolescence. You hold onto people who are dying and bring in no one new. The clock is ticking, and the soaps do not care. The networks ascribe to the belief that in the age of streaming, there's no way to bring in new viewers. They operate out of fear -- fear that these blue-haired fraus will stop watching. DAYS streams so is a little bolder with some cultural touchstones (like gay characters), but just a little. I thought we'd get a more adult DAYS on Peacock. That hasn't happened. I don't pretend to have the answers. I just know that when viewers can watch wildly interesting and adult series on cable and streamers, these network soaps look even more dated.
  18. I agree that the average viewer of soaps is over 60. I do not think it was 35 in the early 2000s.
  19. So bad, don't care. They have no idea what to do with Chase and Brook Lynn. How can you waste a hot guy like Josh Swickard this way? In other news, my laugh of the day came from that wig they plopped on Diane's head. Who decided she needed 3x as many bangs? It looked like a Halloween costume wig.
  20. You need evidence as to why daytime soaps are failing and losing viewers? Netflix has a Top 10 series like Heartstopper with LGBTQ+ teenage characters leading the show, and a network soap about a FASHION HOUSE is afraid to have a single gay character. It's insane, and it's operating out of FEAR of losing blue-haired grandmas who don't know how to use their remotes. Even Y&R is better, though I hesitate giving them any praise. We get Tessa and Mariah, but they have no storyline, and it's clear that Y&R is deathly afraid of showing gay males.
  21. The coming out to Lucky was nicey and unrealistic, I agree. Lucky could have asked more questions, such as "How do you know?" or "When did you discover this about yourself?" or "How difficult has this all been for you?" Seems like GH just wants to move past that plot point quickly and not pull another "Hi, I'm Natalia with the Homosexualist Lesbian Daughter Who's Going Through A Phase And If Not, I Have to Hate The Sin And Love The Sinner."
  22. It was boring. Let's face it. Would a guy who looks like Will have to intern at a fashion company to get attention from girls? He acts like he's never been around a hot girl before. The least they could do is have some gay guys working there eyeing Will up and down. THAT would be realistic. But yeah, I know that in Brad Bell's fashion world, there is no gay except for a flaming wedding planner every few years.
  23. The establishing shots used by DAYS just get worse and worse. They're laughable, looking tlike they were found in some TV production starter pack. More brilliant work from Janet Spellman-Drucker!
  24. I agree with all this. While I'm really happy to see Lucky accept Aiden so quickly, I want to see some pushback against him disappearing for so long. We just had Natalia The Homophobic Mother, so I'm glad we're not getting a repeat of that with Lucky. Disagree completely. He didn't look pained at all. He looked emotional. And that preview? Looked incredibly good to me -- and I can't wait to see it.
  25. Crew Morrow is doing a good job as Will, although I am having a hard time picturing him doing any work at all as an intern at Forrester. I realize that no one at Forrester really does much, though. P.S. Hope is such a hoebag.
