  1. A big YES to this one and to Netflix's Hot Frosty with Lacey Chabert and Dustin Milligan. Dropped yesterday.
  2. Exactly. It's the kind of tiny detail that takes me right out of the story. You mean that NO ONE in that cast or crew is aware of how many years a state rep. serves? Unreal. And how satisfying it was to watch Jason kick that ass.
  3. What political office did Drew run for and win? Maybe I missed something. I thought he ran for a state rep office, yet Nina just mentioned he'll "have to run again in 4 years." Unless it was a statewide office, he'll have to run again in 2 years, and everyone who knows the least bit about civics and politics knows that. If I have it wrong, please let me know.
  4. Can we talk about how beautiful Taylor Kinney looks in this?
  5. Nice! I'll take more of Zack Tinker any time I can get him!
  6. -- Anyone else notice Christine and Daniel eating at the GCAC. I was glad to see real food on the plates other than salad, for one thing. I did have to laugh that from one scene to the next, the pastry rolls looked like they were torn into and devoured, but the eggs were never touched. By the last scene, Christine and Daniel apparently inhaled those scrambled eggs even while leaving half of their fruit.
  7. -- So this Kai kid -- "QB1" -- is a first round NFL prospect, but he transferred to GCU?? Are we serious with this? Those scenes were so cliche. -- I actually feel sorry for Kate Mansi. The writing for her does nothing but make her someone impossible to root for and impossible to like. There's no warmth in her dialogue and none in her performance. KM wa so promising when she first came to GH, but this is bad. -- Someone in hair hates the Diane character or MAGA Diane Miller. They're giving her the worst wigs I've seen on GH. -- Lucky still needs a shower., a shave, and a haircut. -- I think it's time for Tristan Rogers to retire, so I'd be fine sending him off with Holly for good.
  8. Eddie definitely looked goooooood, although I think I would have put him in boxer briefs instead of tighty whities. I will be sorely disappointed if we don't get Eddie + Buck by the end of the series, even though Eddie flat-out said "I'm straight" in this episode. Have to agree with you. Ryan Guzman is gorgeous, period, but I thought he was so damn hot with that mustache.
  9. I am on board with everyone else's comments about how much production has improved -- the ranch set, the lighting, the pretty much everything. A couple points: -- Even though the new costume designer isn't yet credited, the fact is that Jill Walton was styled incredibly on her return. Makeup and hair and wardrobe were 100% better than when she last appeared. Ashley's return outfit was also fire. -- I loved the scene with Nikki playing the piano. However, while I can forgive not showing Nikki's hands on the keys until the end, production needs to do better with the sound -- making sure it doesn't seem as if the piano tune is coming from offscreen. That was a miss for me. -- Have very much enjoyed seeing more characters in any one episode, making the show seem richer and fuller. -- And are we getting more sets per episode? I can swear the past couple eps have given us more sets. -- I really want more of those old music cues. They enrich every scene in which they're used.
  10. Enjoyed more than usual this week, although I could do without Clyde and Kristen, both of whom I've grown to despise. I give Carlivati credit for so many gay characters, but putting Javi with Leo? No. Just no. It's like getting the best peanut butter and jelly and putting it on 6-day old bread. Bread that's moldy. In her interview with Michael Fairman, Diedre Hall mentioned that Body & Soul was over -- and that Ron was sent packing because of it. So do we have MONTHS of this B&S crap to come??? I did love seeing how short Queen Dee was with Fairman. She takes no prisoners, and I loved it.
  11. Oh, Paul, you're forgetting that Hero Victor saved Nikki from the stripper pole! I agree, but when you have Detective Chance saying "I keep asking what I'm missing!" we can't expect Nikki to notice all that heavy construction machinery on the property. And don't forget, Nikki's been buried in financials at Newman. 😂
  12. Carter to Ridge: "I think of you as my best friend." Oh, Carter. You gullible, naive sadsack.
  13. I agree with others that Ed Scott deserves credit for all the changes in lighting and production that we're seeing. Better wardrobe is another indication that someone's paying attention to this show -- and its ratings. Still....I can in no way sign on to that greenscreen of the graveyard at Heather's funeral. That was awful. Just because it was better than the completely horrendous greenscreens we've seen in the past few months doesn't excuse it. It took me right out of the scene, and could not have looked worse or more fake. If they can't do better than a greenscreen out of the 1980s, skip it. Don't do it at all.
  14. I didn't like today's episode. Yes, the individual performances were fine, but the grief and cry scenes were unrelenting -- just one after another, and for me that diluted any emotional impact. I realize we have to see a lot of people reacting to Sam's death, and I know that can't be dragged over 2 weeks, but something about this screamed overkill to me. I also find it head-scratching that the episode ended with Holly and Robert, and not with the Sam montage with Laura's voiceover. Stupid decision.
  15. NAC is the ONLY good thing about Grotesquerie. He's really hot and sexy in it. The finale was awful. There were dozens and even hundreds of symbols and Easter eggs throughout the 10 episodes, and none of them were explained. I was hate watching from episode 5 on, and if it's renewed, I won't be back. It SUCKS.
  16. In my mind, no soap tokenizes Black characters like BOLD.
  17. Just wondering why Carter looks so confused and perplexed at the end of every conversation.
  18. I was slack-jawed at how terrible that Halloween episode was. It' wasn't funny, it wsn't clever, it wasn't inspired, it wasn't campy. It was HORRENDOUS. Within 10 minutes, that episode screamed "TURN ME OFF." Just embarrassing.
  19. That Closer article about GH's troubles is nothing but a pieced-together mess of things we've read elsewhere. They had no new insights. They mention GH looking for "big name actors" to give ratings a boost, citing Sarah Sherman from SNL. She's a big name? Regardless, we haven't seen any other sign that GH is looking for name actors in cameos.
  20. Sarapa nailed it on the BOLD couples. This show....they really think we're excited because they did a Halloween thing to the credits and music and decorated Deacon's pizza dive for the holiday? And had Sheila bake toe cookies -- and act as if that was a cool thing to do?
  21. OK, just watched the scenes with Jason reacting to Sam's death. Don't remember ever saying this about Steve Burton, but he was the best part of the episode.
  22. True, and the writing isn't supporting them, either. NLG did all she could in her scenes with Sam, but what she was given was tired and cliche. I've heard it all before on dozens of soaps, and I just wasn't moved when I should have been. And what's with the continuity in makeup and hair? Are they piecing scenes taped on different days? When Alexis is in the hospital waiting area, she looks stripped of makeup and very pale. In Sam's room, she's wearing more eye makeup and her face has a sheen. Van Hansis' hair was not shiny and slicked back the way it was in the operating room. Did the hair product stop working?
  23. Yep. I also think he was excellent during his entire run. I'll take that genuine, natural acting any day of the week.
