  1. So Brooke goes on camera 4 minutes after she's named CEO of FC? Yeah, businesses operate this way. LOLOL And now, 5 minutes after that, she decides to screw over her own daughter? This show continues to be major suckage.
  2. They're trying hard with the Joss Mourns Dex stuff, but none of it resonates. We just haven't seen enough of that couple in recent months. It's possible I wouldn't care to watch this even if we had, but that's a moot point. GH dropped the ball. I also don't think Eden McCoy is doing much with these scenes. Not seeing a grief-stricken partner, that's for sure. Doesn't help when -- for some godawful reason -- spends the day at the Xmas tree park so she can run into Cam for a really awkward conversation.
  3. -- I admit I don't like Sonny, but that's hardly the whole point, because I also dislike the way Maurice Benard is playing Sonny. The truth is that his acting skills have really regressed, and he's just not the same performer he once was. He struggles -- mightily at times -- to remember lines, and it's annoying and awkward and hard to watch. -- Do I think the order of the head writers' names matters? No, I don't. I think those names are alternated, and I don't believe their individual skills sets are attached to anything regarding the credits.
  4. MEK has been terrible. It feels like he's playing a different character every day.
  5. I don't, either. Joss with those Xmas presents for Dex is so lame and empty. I feel nothing, and I blame the writers. If we'd seen a better and consistent love story between them, we might care. -- That coffee warehouse set will never not be hilarious.
  6. Bell clearly handled it this way -- intentionally having Brooke and Katie tell Electra nothing about why she was fired -- but it's beyond ridiculous. You mean to tell me that a female employee in this situation wouldn't deserve to know those photos were out there??? GMAB. And we're supposed to believe FC can't withstand the gossip of a couple nude photos when everyone at Forrester has already acted an ass and done worse???
  7. I agree. I don't think she's as important to GH as Frankie Frame was to AW, but social media and the internet means the blowup over a Felicia death would be huge. The scenes at the end of the show with Sasha and Tracy were nice, but that opening scene was awful. All that screaming over eggs made Tracy look insane, and I think that was overdone. Thank you. This show doesn't need Martin any more than it needs Cyrus. I don't think MEK ever fit on GH, and that's one salary I'd dump.
  8. Beemer was hilarious as JPL in that clip. He nailed it. Stacy Haiduk was the biggest fail -- that had zero resemblance to Paul Telfer.
  9. I agree. Bell doesn't really care about any minority. He just uses them to tap dance for the white folk.
  10. The truth is, no song -- no matter how great -- is worth the money it would cost. It is crazy to spend considerable money on a regular basis to use any song. BTG should have its own theme. I do think a good opening and theme matters, and I hate that network TV has all but given up on them. That's one thing the streamers do exceptionally well on so many series. I love the way an open makes a statement, sets the mood/tone, and announces "This show is important."
  11. -- Yeah, I was rolling my eyes like crazy on that one. Of course, they're still taking days to color in their designs on paper instead of using tablets and computer programs, so that fits. The fact that they're getting rid of Electra without even talking to her...this show is a laugh riot. -- Does anyone care that Zende is "sticking with the family" regarding the FC takeover? How edgy that the Black guy doesn't support the Black guy. And Zende is the inside guy who can save the company from the takeover? ZENDE??? LOL -- Why would FC sink without Eric, Ridge, and Steffy? LOL -- Carter naming Brooke as CEO just shows he's as big a moron as anyone at that company. Why name someone who's clearly going to bring even more drama to the situation? Because he's an idiot.
  12. -- Did I really just hear Lucky utter the line "Wow...I think I need to shower" when Ric left Liz's house? I think the writers are all over social media. -- Sonny in a church? Yeah, this show is phucking with us.
  13. The hate for this character/actor is beyond ridiculous. I can see wanting someone gone. I've written those posts myself. But I just can't understand the piling on when this character has done very little, both in story and in airtime. Sorry, I don't get it.
  14. As far as ATWT openings go, I prefer this one. I hope BTG gives us something this memorable.
  15. I don't think that's true. Y&R has improved immensely since Ed Scott returned, and it's back to being the best-looking soap. Yep.
  16. LOL I fully agree with you. From what I see, these criticisms are based on nothing. Not a thing. But likewise, there's nothing about that promo that is "amazing." It's interesting, it looks good, and it does what it's intended to do -- promote the soap. But amazing? It's not. Have to agree. In that shot, the mix of outfits doesn't work for me.
  17. It's a SOAP. I really don't understand the criticism. What exactly did you want to see? Calling that promo "trashy and unsophisticated" just seems like trolling to me.
  18. One set looks "large and lush." The office set, not so much. Look, I'm not playing Debbie Downer here, an I have a problem with people who are negative about that promo. They're absurd. Still, I think it's shaky to overpraise anything at this point. It's exciting to get a new soap, but our expectations should still be reasonable.
  19. True. And honestly, all this horniness doesn't do much for me. I think both actors are iincredibly good-looking, but I do not see any sizzling chemistry. When Carter was all over Quinn, they were 🔥. These two, not so much.
  20. The teaser trailer is pretty good, but I wouldn't get too excited about it. We've seen this before -- spending a lot more to intro a show, followed by a "realistic" budget. I highly doubt we're going to get primetime production values on a regular basis.
  21. That 10 minutes was enough for us to hear Katie tell Brooke that Ridge will come back soon, and that he'll come to his senses and apologize for what he said. I mean, can Katie be any more ridiculous? Of course, this is the Katie who's allowed $B to treat her like cow dung for over a decade.
  22. Nothing special about that scene at all. Honestly, I'm inured to these goodbye scenes on GH at this point. It's become The Death Show. It's bad enough when GH actors die, but when you add all these storyline killings on top of it? Too much. It's hard to feel anything when you've started a Death-of-the-Month Club.
  23. I criticize RC's writing a lot, but Doug's death and funeral was long enough. We don't need weeks and weeks of that, even if it's a beloved character who's died. I'm actually glad KA's return was delayed a couple days, giving other returns the spotlight before she got her own. And I've said this before, but SSH was given enough to do. Yes, she's adored and we all love her, but her style of acting is...a choice. Her scenes with Doug did not work for me, and I never got emotional over any of it. I wouldn't even nominate her for these scenes.
