Beyond annoying. It's a story right of of 1960, and it's garbage. Once again, Carlivati has taken a good storyline and made it a joke. Watching these characters behave as if this makes sense is too much. I'm not seeing those two as a couple at all. The music played at Chanel's NYE party was wretched. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Just another reason to fire Janet Spellman-Drucker. Haven't seen today's show yet, but yesterday's promising first 30 minutes was upended by writing stupidity. Why in the hell would Johnny take Joy upstairs to tell her he wasn't happy about her being at the party? And not only that, it was NEAR FRICKIN MIDNIGHT. None of that made sense. Neither did seeing Philip standing on the other side of the room from Stephanie when the ball dropped. It was the lamest NYE countdown I have ever seen, with pretty much no celebration at midnight. Couples were apart at midnight??? Awful production and writing. I have to admit I enjoy Fake Rafe and think he's hilarious. It's the only good work Galen Gering has done in years LOL.

Interesting article to read. Interesting choices, too. While I can understand many of them, so many are head scratchers that I LOL as I read. Fairman writes to curry favor with the actors he writes about. The sucking up is unreal.

That's the reason I think they should keep Cole too, but the signs are ll there for Cole to be knocked off. Just another thing to b unhappy about with this show.

We just had the sadness of Doug's funeral. We didn't need that same level of grief on Christmas. The show has problems, but the level of melancholy isn't one of them. I agree. I didn't like the Dimitri story at all or the way the show dispensed ith Peter Porte, but that was high art compared to the trash we're getting with Body & Soul. This garbage has been running for MONTHS, and that is insane.

He's just a really good-looking straight boy who's gay friendly and on all the right sides of social issues. I also love his swag....that laid back and mellow confidence.

I'm ready to pre-order. Daytime is sooooo ripe for peeling back the curtain.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Remy/Electra storyline is being rushed like crazy. You know what's worse than a bad storyline? Rushing a bad storyline. I appreciate it when soaps make course corrections based on what they see or on audience feedback, but BOLD takes that to new heights. What's happening with Remy is nuts. BOLD does this with stories and with actors/characters. Krista Allen pissed off someone? Gone. Joshua Hoffman as RJ? Gone. Matthew Atkinson? Gone. Darrin Brooks as Wyatt? Gone.

🤣😂😂🤣 Look, I know the guy is low-hanging fruit, but he's the one who caused that by delivering such garbage for so long. Has he done some things well in his writing days? Yes, but he's also done AWFUL work that is self-indulgent and meta in the most horrific ways. His failures at DAYS (including Leo and Body & Soul) are epic. I'm only sorry we have 4 more months of his shlt.

He's not bad, and that's why I'm giving the guy a chance. I feel the same way about Kai as I feel about Gio. The WRITING has let them down, not the acting. Gio has been given nothing but one chem test after another, while Kai's scenes are rejects from The already-awful All-American.

Exactly. No one is clamoring for Ron Carlivati to create and write a soap. No matter what RC is getting paid, it's certainly not as much as his DAYS salary as HW Sweet gig without pressure? Uh...CBS and others have a lot invested in the success of BTG. I think there's plenty of pressure, and he should avoid sleepwalking through any of it.

I would have fired Janet Drucker for doing NOTHING to make the show look better. Sorry, but I can't go along with some scenario that Ron C wanted out. He was fired. I also highly doubt he's making more on the writing staff at BTG than he was as HW on Days.
