  1. This was her best work, I think. It was raw, real, and genuine. I'm on record as not liking her performance in the death episodes, having found her mannered. I saw the acting. To me, this stuff with Billy is the Emmy material.
  2. I'm telling you, you have to check out Peyton Meyer on American Housewife. Dumb jock played to perfection, and so hot and adorable.
  3. 100%. On this and every soap, every time I start complaining about wardrobe or sets or the number of extras or anything else, it's because the writing is so bad.
  4. And kudos to Billy Flynn for his work in those scenes with SSH. I don't think any other actor comes with the empathy Billy does for those kinds of scenes. He makes Hayes' grief so much more palpable.
  5. It's such a joke to see Sonny having visions or praying in the first place, so I guess we might as well get a laugh that he's talking to Morgan.
  6. I thought the same thing while watching. Taylor's ensemble was tragic. Of course, no one in the episode was dressed much better. There was barely any style or color anywhere. Brooke wore blue and Donna deep pink, but Ridge, Finn, Steffy, and Katie all wore dark colors. This show about fashion needs something that resembles fashion.
  7. PLEASE make more lists for BOLD and for any other soap!
  8. LMAOOOOOOO Thank God, but lemme tell you, that list is sooooooo good!
  9. Maxim, I love ya, but is this a parody post????
  10. Yeah, that's true. I guess I forgot that Morgan was this show's Jesus.
  11. Why in the sam hell is Sonny praying for Morgan to help Michael? Who is writing this ish? I started LOL when the show opened with that "Prayer to Morgan."
  12. I admit I'm a sucker for hot jocks who show off a bit of the briefs. James Longman is gorgeous. I was into him before I knew he was gay.
  13. OMG, I want him so bad.
  14. Today's episode was better than a sleeping pill. Low energy, low stakes, low momentum. Just 30 minutes of nothing.
  15. I mentioned the greenscreen bag of tricks. Never meant to imply GH used greenscreens. That look through Nina's window shows a building that could not look more fake.
  16. It would be just like GH to off (another) long-term character to keep on a villain who should have been gone years ago. -- Whoever is choosing Diane's wigs needs to give up that job. -- Maurice Benard's still acting like he's in some really bad mafia movie. -- Nina's apartment continues to underwhelm. Too large, too sterile, too monochromatic. None of it looks real, especially that...image...through the window of the building across the street. Must've come from that Y&R greenscreen bag of tricks.
  17. I'd rather Brook Lynn leave Port Charles when the truth comes out.
  18. This Daphne actress is so bad she's fun to watch. Her mannerisms, her tics, her movements, her accent -- they're all terrible. I love watching performances this bad.
  19. You're so right about this. None of it fits for what we know about Lois. Well, yeah, if they're going to turn Lois into someone we don't even recognize, there's no big deal to write plastic surgery into a storyline.
  20. Because DAYS is pretending Tate and Sophia have no agency to do anything on their own. Sophia's mother Amy is calling all the shots, and DAYS is pretending that's the way it is. Just stupid.
  21. That was my big takeaway, too. I was shocked by that honestly. If GH is considering a recast for Michael, they really weren't thinking ahead on any of that.
  22. Clearly, Eden McCoy isn't one of those actors who can spin sugar from...well, you know. I don't think her grief scenes at reading at all. Maybe the writing is weak, but so is the acting. I agree that we all grieve differently, but whatever EM is doing doesn't work on screen, at least not for me. Drop the last 4 words of your question, then we've got a good puzzle.
  23. Christian definitely appeared on Y&R through the years, although rarely. In 2019, the role was recast with Alex Wilson. I remember seeing him when the show built a big house for Nick, which we haven't seen for a long time.
  24. Horrendous. -- Does anyone think Leo is capable of writing a bible for a soap opera? -- And Chanel needs therapy. Ending her marriage and her career over a kiss? Yeah, I'm downplaying what happened, but it's insane to jump to "IT'S OVER!" based on what happened. -- Kerry as Lady Whistleblower is interesting for 5 seconds. Not only has the guy not been around for the stuff he writes about, but the overriding question is why ANYONE outside of Salem care about ANY of this. Deau Moix he ain't.
