  1. it is a great set, but I don’t know how it will wear. Does everyone get the same days off? Why don’t you have to have a room at the hotel to use the pool? Will all these extras suddenly disappear? Jason has always been the love of Spinelli’s life. He’d marry Jason if he could.
  2. Honestly, I was angry when I saw that PSA for the suicide hotline. Just horrifically out of place. Disgusting.
  3. Take a look at Billy and Lily’s new place. When they’re in the “living room,” one character sits in the chair — which is so close to the entrance door it’s ridiculous. This is how wealthy people live? That set is a piecemeal dump. Also hilarious? The Chancellor Park set. I’m sure the Abbott back yard is a lot bigger for that kid. You know, Harrison — the one they tell us is so great but that we haven’t seen evidence of.
  4. Michael is the D.A. and does work and holds meetings with Rey at Society? No one has a workplace office on this show, and it’s nuts. The set problem at YR is worse than it is on the other three soaps.
  5. And how about Ava making her way up a hill and trudging through the grass to talk to Trina. Yeah, that was realistic.
  6. Yep, just more annoying RH acting tics. And did you notice he’s wearing a name tag with no last name? Just Austin? GMAFB.
  7. The big box store is never going to happen. It just doesn’t lend itself to this show, and having characters inside it or outside it would look ridiculous.
  8. Price Town sounds like Super Walmart. Who wants to see junk everywhere? I don’t. Besides, the entire project being done undercover by Paulina is absolutely ridiculous. No building ordinances? No votes by council? No involvement by banks? No deals made with HTS stores? And how did Chanel and Allie get a loan when the place is about to be torn down in the middle of the night? The whole thing is just stupid.
  9. Speaking of NLG, after the MB mess, she tweeted and delivered A LOT of shade while praising GH and never directly mentioning Benard.
  10. Thanks for the logical, rational, sensible posts about Muhney and Hunter King. Those on here implying that she has some ace contract because of what (they believe) happened are ridiculous. Once again, the female gets blamed — when she never opened her mouth publicly about anything. I loved Muhney as Adam, but the stories about him are many. Calling him difficult would be an understatement. He didn’t learn anything after losing at Veronica Mars, and he compounded his reputation at Y&R. I have to believe he was warned MULTIPLE times to clean up his act.
  11. MB’s humblebrag at the Emmys was just his repeating what he said on his podcast — that he’s the star of the show, and Frank said so. Then he followed all that with a mess he created on Twitter. The man is OBNOXIOUS. He won a lead actor Emmy and then spent the weekend fighting on Twitter. That’s just nuts, and it’s what happens with an out-of-control ego.
  12. Yep, the whole thing is ridiculous. Could stronger writing save it? Maybe, but as written, no. The idea that all these major criminal families are fighting over PORT FRICKIN CHARLES is just absurd.
  13. I don’t think the writing has done Paris any favors either. When she arrived, she was fun and flirty and exuberant. Now? Not so much, with a lot of sanctimony and judgment thrown in.
  14. Not what I’m hearing or reading. It’s Kelli Goss. She’s on The United States of Al and is actually doing a nice job. Just wondering— is Mark still in this kind of shape? He’s great looking and I’m not calling him fat or out of shape, but in tighter sweaters, he’s not looking in the best condition, at least to me. Am I just imagining this? I keep thinking that maybe the pandemic carbs have hit.
  15. They need to modify that dialogue between Paulina and Abe, because it won’t wear well on a continued basis. I feel the same way about Chanel and Allie. How many times do we have to hear Chanel is sexually fluid and hear comments when she hugs Allie? Sexuality is not a storyline. I also thought it was bizarre to hear Paulina make comments to her own daughter about having sex with Allie. She acted like her sorority sister instead of her mother.
  16. Callahan died last March. He was mentioned at the June Emmy ceremony.
  17. So Justin is a brilliant guy, but decides to lock up Thomas in a cage? Yeah, ok.
  18. This show needs badass troublemaker Sally, not a sweet friend with Summer.
  19. That doctor can’t be dead — makes no sense to kill him off this soon. Why have Kayla and Tripp notice the missing pills, etc.? I’m not buying he’s dead. Phillip needs a new hairstyle — the cut he has makes his face look longer. So does Lucas, who’s had the same cut for decades and looks terrible.
  20. Terrible writing. This show can’t do a gay story, but will throw it in as a plot device before a frickin suicide. Just disgusting on so many levels. Beyond wretched.
  21. Hunter King is killing it as Summer, though I hate this writing that has her keeping secret what Tara said to her. It makes no sense. Tired of Jack’s sanctimony as he talks about fatherhood to Kyle. He was a rotten and absent father, and now he walks around the park (on a shitty set) in a suit so he can brag about his grandson playing ball — you know, the cute kid who looks like he’s as quiet as a church mouse and who doesn’t get dirty. Very nice that Ashland Victoria could meet with Nikki and Victor in the Grand Phoenix lobby, which they had all to themselves.
  22. The star of the week was Josh Swickard. Emotional, grounded, genuine, heartfelt. Just an outstanding performance in every respect. To be that good looking and a great actor, too. Wow.
  23. The only problem is that I have no clue as to what the Amanda / Sutton storyline is about. It’s a convoluted mess of things that happened offscreen, and I just can’t follow it — so I have no reason to care. The entire story is a damn disaster.
  24. BD has the WORST hair of any male on daytime. It’s just so bad, so dated.
  25. i agree with you regarding Wes Ramsey. I understand why people mocked and hated his character and bad acting choices, but the abuse — and make no mistake, it is abuse — has been horrific. I hope Ramsey has stayed away from Twitter, which has been beyond ugly and vile. I’m not a fan of Peter is Dead parties, I know that. How long will the abuse continue? The character was poorly written, and Wes made lousy acting choices, compounded by his use of Juilliard in an interview. So now crucifying him is the way to go? Count me out. It’s so bad I feel sorry for the guy.
