Wow… just wow. I kinda suspected they would give it to her. She is a fan favorite and it was kinda her show for over a decade. shame they can’t celebrate the entire show. Only certain characters.

I’m so upset

I mean the Tates they added with Joe and Jamie were really great. I know some were not keen on Jamie and his actor but at least he was likeable. But Kim/Joe and the Graham story was explosively entertaining. But I don’t feel a damn thing about Frank Tate being brought up again and having a son like Caleb. I just hope that this story will bring back the old Kim. I want her to get her claws out again and give them all hell for messing with her. Miss my old Kim.

Unter Uns… ugh.. First Corinna was dying and now Chris slept with Jennifer. I heard that the actor of Chris Weigel2 will take a break because he is on tour with his musical or something like this. I really think they should’ve sent Chris/Corinna away with their son and let them come back later with a Corinna recast tbh.

The time doesn’t play a factor tbh. The re-runs of Corrie Classics middays are doing well too. Corrie is definitely rating wise superior than Days for decades

I mean why should she talk about it anyway? She is more known for her DH run international than Y&R and she hasn’t been on that show for two whole decades. She doesn’t depend on that show like some nostalgic people. I mean not everyone is hung up on their old job that didn’t even covered all costs of hers. People move on and ain’t stuck in the past like that dinosaur Eric Breaden lol I don’t even think Y&R is worth a mention these days besides celebrating 50 years otherwise it’s a snoozefest.

Moesha- Season 1 … Damn. I forgot how funny the male cast member were even though Kim and Dee were on fire too. Brandy as Moesha kinda annoyed me from time to time but it was still enjoyable. She grew on me over the first season but Hakeem, Miles and Kim made that show! i see that Netflix has a lot of great black shows on there lately. I think about watching Girlfriends from the 2000’s or One on One

DR David Hayward from AMC to GH. I am still shocked GH never got Vincent. He would fit into the madness of Port Charles. Marlena from Days to Passions. Maybe she could’ve saved that show from being as messed up as it is/was. Chloe and Gabriela from Days over to B&B. Those characters would work way better over there tbh. Jake from Another World would’ve fitted so well on Days or OLTL. Chelsea from Y&R would’ve been a great asset to GH

Could Phillip and Beth count from Guiding Light? Josh/Reva on GL were eating up that show to a point where I didn’t even gave a damn about them. Ethan & Theresa on Passions! How many characters were destroyed/ruined/sacrificed/dumbed down just to tell their Lovestory? Like seriously..

That’s not an official opening.. right? Right???? what to the actual F. ? This is one time where I would prefer just a small Y&R opening like they do on primetime with their shows. it reminded me of The Edge of Night for a second just with Cast Members added.

That’s brave coming from someone that mumbles his lines worse than Maurice Bernard (Sonny on GH) lol No offense ofc. But the way he try’s to trash her just shows his lack of class. He even disses “Desperate Housewife’s” and their dialogue.. Because Victor Newman’s lines are so Hollywood. Don’t make me laugh. I loved Psycho Isabella. She was lucky to get on that Housewife show? Haha didn’t EB tried primetime and didn’t made it further then being a guest villain or a guest character on some shows? Bro tried branching out and flopped and got stuck for 40-50 years on daytime while Eva had a primetime gig for 8 straight years. I think she was more successful. She then landed a Reccuring gig on B-99. She even was an executive producer on Devious Maids for 4 whole seasons ! And did documentaries and stuff. She didn’t even said something bad and he felt triggered coz he got reminded that he is still stuck on a boring soap opera that lost it’s touch years ago. Good for him to have a secure paycheck.

Thank u for your reply. I even get the love for early Luke/Laura… Anthony Geary was phenomenal and was lightening up the screen and so was Genie Francis. Like I mentioned some storys were dragging so hard like the search for the ice Princess.. But the other storys at least balanced it out. I was so surprised that the vets got heavily used too. John Beradino/ Steve had like 40 appearences less then Stuart Damon/Alan over February 1980 where I started until the end of the year. But by the end of April 1981 he was just 2 or 3 appearences behind him. That was stunning how the producers and writers tried to integrate everyone. ofc I know Scotty and have watched him regularly on PC, and GH when I started regularly as a child in late 90’s and 00’s. It was really surprising for me to see the nice guy Scotty. For him to get a transition was the best decision. I am so ready for Scott to return. I have no clue when this will be but I’m all up for it. @Paul Raven I can even get behind it why she would try that tbh. I enjoyed Hutch during the summer/fall 1980 too. But his story was wrapped up. He accepted the punishment and was on good terms with LnL! Story told. I think Monty should’ve waited at least until the Luke had more free time on his hand and not being heavily used with the Ice Princess. I just hope the story won’t drag on for me now. @Dion Oh really? I thought Anne was such a fan favorite? Interesting.. I never enjoyed her and Jeff tbh. I enjoyed the actress on Guiding Light when she was bickering with Kelly etc. and on AMC. Like u all said maybe they should’ve given her some edge. A feud between Heather vs Anne would’ve been iconic especially after Diana Taylor vs Heather! I think Joes party will be next up in my chronological order. They mentioned it last episode. Can’t wait. To see Robin Mattson as Heather in this outstanding performance makes me sad what they did with her since 2012. I know Heather is meant to be a villain but that actress made me even feel sorry for her when Jeff took off with PJ/Steven Lars. I even feel like she was sincerely changing for the better until she realized no one has her back. Sarah surprised me so hard with her own scheming against Heather that I even wanted Heather to put that brat in her place 🤣

STV started airing the old soap “Brookside” on their app with 5 episodes in a week and the re-runs brought in over 100K streams. That’s insane for an old soap that started in 1982. i remember AMC was trending on Hulu too when they had their online season. i really think streaming is the best way to save the soap opera genre. It shows with Brookside. The Neighbours revival will definitely help to find a way for it (the old 2012 season already gets streamed and the iconic episodes).

Now I’ve made it through every episode of April 1981! The steam was back and I was hooked again. i still don’t believe that it was just Luke and Laura that draw in the ratings. Robin Mattson is a phenomenal actress and had Some outstanding acting done during this month. While Luke/Laura their story was stalling during the last couple of months the Heather story was moving pretty fast. Joe is still trying to get dirt on Heather and finding out her involvement in Diana’s death! He befriended her. I really like how he ain’t get fooled by her but still try’s to be civil to her. Heather manages over the whole month to get the all clear to get out of the clinic fulltime and pretended like she finally got her memorie back. But she underestimated Sarah. Sarah is an underrated character tbh. She don’t want Heather to leave her and started to mess with her “best friend”. She started to play dumb even though she wasn’t and threatened Heather. She even pretended to had an mental breakdown where she destroyed her toy. She then hid the gun to have something over Heather. She really messes with my girl Heather here and is not afraid to go all in. Anne Logan has nightmares and is afraid of Heather. I really have to say that I don’t get the love for Anne Logan. She is the most irritating character ever. Joe finally made it through his exams and the writers already squeezing him into every possible story where a lawyer is needed. Lol The Ice Princess story didn’t bothered me much this month. I enjoyed the way they are building up the art auction and involved Lila and a lot of the main cast again. Can’t wait to see how the auction will play out in may. Luke and Laura became close/friends again. We even got a bit more Lee Baldwin and his anger torwards Laura. Alexandria became so vile and power hungry. She was really frightening.. But James Duvall’s plot finally started moving again. He learned the full truth about the ice Princess being missing, two friends of his being dead. And we learned that he has a copy of the formula that they are after. Lesley and Tony Castle/Cassadine have some fresh chemistry and I like them going out. Especially because it drives Rick insane with jealousy. Alan vs Alexandria was one of my favorites this month. But Alexandria knows about Susan and him and her being pregnant. I hope Alan will fight back. I still wonder if Tracy was meant to play this story instead of Alexandria. I even loved that Alan mentioned his sister for the first time I. Months. He said that Alexandria doesn’t have the format Tracy has! Love it Dr Noah Drake didn’t had much do since his arrival. But I enjoyed his romantic involvement with Bobbie. They are building it up slowly and they are kinda cute. But the only thing really confusing me is the comeback of Hutch! After a 2 month break they are bringing Hutch back to the show and I don’t know why? He is so isolated from the rest of the canvas. There is no real purpose for his jail story and him being a dead man walking because Luke/Laura are involved in a different story and ain’t having much time for him. I liked Hutch but this was unneeded for the writers to squeeze him back into Show

Congratulations to one of my favorite soaps of the past. I still love the cast and some scenes and plots but overall it has become worse than Passions. But I would be upset if it was cancelled for good tbh.

I have the feeling that the actors and actresses from Y&R don’t have much of a problem with the 2000-2023 storys and work they’ve done as much as some fans lol

Michael Easton! He had so many great pairings and made them work. Only pairings that didn’t work are with Beccy Herbst and Idk why. Normally every pairing of both actors work. Beccy Herbst is a chemistry machine aswell. Ron Moss. He was a great 80’s/90’s actor and he made that show work on B&B. I mean he had chemistry with not just one lead but three. Hunter Tylo, KKL and the Caroline actress. Even after a decade he still had chemistry with them and platonic chemistry with Susan Flannery, John McCook.

I really have to say that over the last couple of years that Gwen has been on the show that I think she became quiet likeable. I even enjoy her and Xander and I hate that it won’t last

Billy Warlock as AJ on GH. I mean he didn’t worked well as AJ anyway but his pairings felt forced. GH has a actress that had so many beautiful pairings and chemistry with everyone: Rebecca Herbst as Liz! But the only pairing that just won’t work is with ME as Finn. Which I find weird coz on paper this seems like a pairing that would be suited but somehow it won’t happen. I mean ME had great pairings and showed that he can create chemistry with co-stars. I still wonder what’s the issue here. Thorsten K.! He has no chemistry with anyone on B&B if u ask me. don’t come for me but the Cane-actor didn’t had any chemistry with the Lily actress and I can’t believe they from Y&R kept holding on to them for like forever.

I’m sold. i remember that AOL posted them like 2 decades ago but I never got around to watch all of it. i have to admit that I’m familiar with AW as a show and it’s history somewhat but I just watched like the last few years with my mom sporadically because I got born to late for the 80’s and 70’s. I think I probably watched from around 94 to 99.

Maeve and Rebekah is the most disgusting thing that happened to SS in the last decade and that weird Nicole/Drew-thing. I’m really over BrightShine… I don’t even care if Maeve is just playing Rebekah and BrightShine at this point.
