The issue is none of the characters are rootable, in my eyes. Jill Farren Phelps came in and re-shifted the canvas to be the Cruz & Eden show, and they are a couple that I simply detest. And it's oversatured. And no other storylines are gripping. I understand the transition when EPs change, but this is just.... jarring.

I vaguely remember that. I'd be open to her opening her own restaurant, especially after her pop-up coffee place with Aaron all-but disappeared after a season. Maybe explore Kristina as a chef, maybe? I feel like the cooking profession is never explored in daytime. But I also want Kristina with a significant edge. Not as moody as Lindsay Morgan's Kristina, but with more of a potentially nefarious purpose! Hell, Kristina vs. Michael would be good.

Exactly. Rylan had what it took to take on the role of Lulu... but the writing was never there during her time. For me, Miller has a spark that the role needs, especially having seen her in some of her film work. I can see why people may have... reservations, and I appreciate them. And yes, the Stefan/Gabby relationship was really piss-poor. But I would like to have a glimmer of hope that we could get a Jane Elliot/Wally Kurth-type of situation with them. However, I also do not see Tyler Christopher returning, unfortunately.

The problem with changing from Julie Marie Berman to Emme Rylan is Ron Carlivati had a blank canvas to possibly work it... and instead, between the writer and the subsequent regimes, they pulled the Spencer out of Lulu and made her a complete wallpaper-paste of a person. There were no layers to her. She was about Dante & Rocco, and that felt about it. With Marci Miller in the role, I could buy Lulu re-evolving into a Spencer, and I do believe Miller would have magical chemistry with Dominic Zamprogna, Genie Francis and others, et al. I've always seen Miller as Lulu since her return as Abigail in 2020. But, regardless of who is in the role, Lulu needs to be multi-dimensional again. She can be the investigative journalist, but she needs to have intent in that role. Oh see, I think Miller could do wonders with the role of Lulu. A reset for the character. With Nikolas off-canvas it is the genuine way to re-introduce Lulu and/or Lucky.

Class act. I genuinely believe she had zero idea those felt they way they did.

I'm going to watch this tonight for Ms. Jennifer Lopez!
