  1. Aren't Joss & Trina supposedly living with Carly, though? Or did I miss them getting an apartment together?
  2. When the role of TJ was announced, I had some hope it would be Tommy Jnr, but it wasn't. But it still is not too late for him to show up. I'd love Tom and Simone on recurring/full-time, too. I miss the Hardy representation, honestly. I hate to say it... but that's due, in part, to Ron Carlivati playing favouritism to those characters he still wanted to write for. I just think there's opportunity more for Pine Valley residents in Pine Valley than there was for Llanview residents, especially given the Anna/Mac connection. Jack coming in is opening the door, thankfully. This alone proves the hospital staff needs someone strong, and it's lacking that. I'd only welcome Project Orpheus if we got some Quartermaines back!
  3. The arrival of David Hayward, with Project Orpheus, would be so friggin' welcomed. Along with these names: Dr. Sterling Robinson, Dr. Angie Hubbard, Dr. Cara Castillo and the widowed Dr. Jake Martin. And then, the return of Dr. Steven Lars Webber. Plus, Tom Hardy and Tom Hardy Jnr.
  4. Curtis. It's so curtis. But yes, like @Darn, it should say "DIES".
  5. Both were already confirmed fi-core, along with Sheri Anderson, in Deadline Hollywood's article.
  6. Mhmm, and Pinciotti is already on the writing staff, so I am sure Bradley Bell is slipping them notes on what he wants, etc.
  7. Didn't even know he was getting a divorce. Of course, I don't follow or look for Porter news like that.
  8. Maybe they bring back the original home Carly lived in with Jax and gifted to Carly? Or they'll script Bobbie's death and Carly will sell the home to Maxie? But I also don't see that home being a $5,000,000 home? But, script-wise, it sounds like she's moving into another apartment set, which is likely going to be easier to construct than a home set. I don't see Maxie living in Sonny's former home, either. I'm hopeful for an Anna & Jack interaction.... would it be too much to ask? And for Jack to remark that her home looks strikingly familiar?
  9. Hoping Threads comes to web access; right now, it is an app-only platform.
  10. According to what I've seen, strike material is already airing. Only Michael Minnis & Mark Pinciotti were credited in yesterday's episode.
  11. Considering General Hospital is filming certain scenes one-day before they air, they're definitely trying to stretch the material that's been pre-written to their advantage, and if that's what it takes, I'm all for it right now. If there were no strike, I'd be pissed.
  12. I was about to come in and state that Santa Barbara, during the Dobson's messy first era, was very comedy-stanced, and it is something they did quite well, and it's what made it standout against its counterparts.
  13. Well, I also think General Hospital was shooting later lately to extend their episodes through July, given that they're dark this whole month. I loved Felicia & Mac together, in their playful ways, with James! And the Pine Valley mention was awesome. Missed hearing those two words; hopefully, Mac remembers his visits to Pine Valley, and isn't mindless and goes, "Oh! I've heard of that place before. Never been!"
  14. I liked Rhys' storyline a lot. It was a fun adventure. And yes, Sonya & Toadie are my faves! Jade, I will say, is there for most of 2012, so you've got her for a bit!
  15. Who TF would be upset? Yesterday's classic episode was one-hundred times better than anything airing today. Character-driven, well-written dialogue and it was brilliantly done.
  16. Yes, Toadie's gal is Sonya. Love them together!! As for Ashleigh Brewer, I find Kate a bit more insufferable in comparison to Ivy. I don't know why. I think it's just how she comes across in her portrayal. And the reason behind Karl & Susan's split is discussed down the line, but, in short, perJackie Woodburne in September of 2011: “This time there isn’t a younger woman involved which makes a nice change,” she explains. “It’s off the back of Susan’s involvement with ‘Jim Dolan’ who was the cancer patient that she got overly-attached to but who died. “It’s all about empty-nest syndrome because the kids are all gone. Who is she if she’s not a mother and a carer? So it’s about her moving away to find out who she is as a single-person without people to look after.”
  17. That'd be cool, but I'd be sad about Shane, honestly.
  18. He is major bulging in today's stream.
  19. Mhmm. According to his Linkedin, he's been there since the fall (or at least back in that orbit of shows).
  20. She is definitely a soap opera vixen that shakes up the canvas so well. A not-so quick pop into the Square was just what was needed. A true thorn in Susan's side, all while up to the same tricks. But it wasn't as predictable as it could have been, and I love that. A long-term stay would be such a wrong move. Hoping she pops in during this new revival.
  21. Re-visiting the chemistry between Roger Howarth & Maura West, to me, is too little too late for me. It's something they really should have tempted more of when Howarth was Franco. At this point, they're re-doing what they did with Howarth & Laura Wright: re-testing chemistry with Howarth in another role. And, much like Carly & Todd, this pairing simply does not work. I will say: at least Howarth shows up with West (unlike her former co-star). But, you have West, who EXUDES f**king chemistry with a damn set prop, and you just provide her with... Dr. G.H.? No thank you. Austin & Britt is what should have happened. It was right there. Can I be honest...? I have not seen even one female co-star have chemistry with Michael Easton. Not ONE. In any role, in any soap. The only ones close were Rebecca Budig & West, and that's because both put in the work to establish that. It's clear, to me, Rebecca Herbst is checked TF out. Know who I'd actually like to see chem-tested at some point? Herbst & Josh Kelly. Controversial, yes, but Kelly reminds me of Billy Miller's Jason, and I liked what they did temporarily have. But TPTB really need to take the L with Easton as Finn, and cut their losses. Have Budig reprise the role of Hayden for a limited-episode guest run, have Finn take Violet, and get TF out of town... after Daddy Chase dies, of course. And by Daddy Chase, I mean Gregory Harrison (who should have been cast as Jeff Webber).
  22. It's nice. Makes me question the decision to kill Brad off over Paul, especially knowing what we know now.
  23. Well, I'm glad I'm not "most" of the fandom, haha. I love character-driven things. And some characters from that year I'd love to see some back. I'm at the point now where Izzy just took the pregnancy test and it's a negative. I love loving this arc so much. This is what soaps should be about!
