Michael Logan posting it feels so special, since he is still the only soap journalist that would ask the questions that needed to be asked. And while the Dobsons were very flawed in how they executed Santa Barbara, it is still very clear their vision for that soap was the only vision it needed.

I tend to agree, but it also depends on the situation for which the second chance is seen for.

So, I know nothing about this soap, but I've seen scenes of Sharon Gabet's Raven, and what a masterclass her work absolutely was during that time.

Finally stepping back into Santa Barbara this morning at Ep 941, and I am immediately reminded why I tuned out... whew. While the Dobsons were a huge reason as to why this soap had the problems it had, it was clear their vision was true to what the soap needed to be. SMFH. Oh, definitely. I much prefer her in the role.

It is time; the last time they tried it was in 2014. Nikki & Victor have had more romantic reunions than Nick & Sharon, and I do believe it is high-time they are reunited. Granted, the pair is not my favourite for either character, but it would be nice to have a solid reunion.

I've long been a defender of Chris Van Etten & Dan O'Connor and their crew, but, after today's episode... they can all GO! The scripts of Carly & Drew were just... ugh. Disgusting, especially Drew. Not only was it out of character, but also way out of line. Bring back the interim writers until a new head writer and / or head writing team can be hired... preferably with a female in the mix.
