  1. Thank fück "fans"/audience are not involved in soap productions, 'cause W H E W.... they'd kill the genre, immediately.
  2. And the conversation will be this: "I DESERVE WILEY! I DESERVE AMELIA! MY MICHAEL IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU! IT'S ALL ABOUT ME! I I I I I I I I I I I"
  3. This is laughable to me that the Daytime Emmys would be pushed back for this... but at least it gives time for more Emmy submission reels, I guess?
  4. Cynthia Watros keeps being given material she could really go off on and then they retract it, and diminish her to a contractual day player. I still don't buy her as a fashion maven running Crimson at all. That story decision still does not sit well with me. I wonder who their choice was, hmm... Based on scenes I've seen, Billy Warlock is a very different AJ than Sean Kanan or even Gerald Hopkins. And I've got to say: if Robert Adamson were allowed to be Michael full-time, I would say he opposite Warlock would be a great son/father combination, in the same way I felt Chad Duell was opposite Kanan. I feel like daytime never got Warlock; I think the one person in his corner was John Conboy. Warlock was set up, and even he knew it: he knew his castings in the roles of AJ on GH and Ross on OLTL were not meant to work, but he still showed up to do his job. He's a trooper. And then his 2004/2005 return as AJ was sabotage, but even per his own words: it was the first-time AJ was given a chance to fight. He may have lost said-fight, but he was given a chance, and it made for his best three-months in the role (per Warlock).
  5. Haha. I'm glad you thought so. I got concerned for a very brief moment of time.
  6. Again, he's a breakdown writer. He doesn't have that kind of control, nor do I believe Michele Val Jean would allow this on her baby.
  7. So, him professing his love for Willow wasn't romantic for you? 🤣 Drew & Willow are really the new pairing of Elizabeth & Finn. WHEW.
  8. This is too cringe, and I saw a slap Chanel gave Johnny, and lemme tell you... it was poorly done.
  9. See, I really like the outfit. It's the new fringe I'm not sure about, though.
  10. I think it's smart doing it that way so people don't go looking at primetime hours. Plus, it's promising that "CBS Daytime drama" is used... feels like CBS is recommitted to their CBS Daytime programming block.
  11. They really do; it feels like the "comfort crazy couple" returning home together. And it felt right.
  12. I agree; I don't watch B&B (and have not since 2019), but looking at costuming on that serial, and I shutter in embarrassment. SAME! They are so beautiful together!!
  13. They do. So well-dressed by their costume designer and her team. Nothing, and I do mean nothing looks ill-fitted on any of them. I'm sure with the multi-day shoot of the first episode it helped ease many into the daytime pace. I think Karla Mosley is going to bode well as Dani, but I am most excited for Daphnée Duplaix & Tamara Tunie. Tunie because I loved her work on World Turns and the Law & Order franchise. And Duplaix I am fully unaware of; I wasn't a One Life watcher but have heard nothing but praise for her work in the role of Rachel, as well as her other work, so I'm excited to see her as Nicole. She just looks like she commands the attention, and I like that.
  14. Again, easy remedy for this: Marcus Coloma's stint as Nikolas Cassadine was not Nikolas, it was Connor Bishop (unknown to be alive). Victor Cassadine recruited him to replace Nikolas (still injured from being shot by Valentin), making Ace a Bishop and not a Cassadine, and it would also eradicate the bullshït writing/behaviour of Nikolas, re: Ava/Esme/Spencer.
  15. Kai Kim is back directing for Y&R. Their last directed episode was September 26, 2017. He's been a camera/video operator at the soap off/on since 2002, with their tenures as: 2002–2010, 2012–2020, and returned to the role in 2023.
  16. Shari Shattuck was not a bad Ashley; she just felt too cold for my liking, and she's even the first Ashley I recall watching. And wasn't the role recast because Brenda Epperson decided to leave? Some time passed between Epperson's final episode and Shattuck's debut. Sandra Nelson was a fantastic Phyllis for the time period she was on the show. Again, she is the first Phyllis I recall watching. Much like the work of Gina Tognoni, I feel like Nelson's work in the role helped ground the character... which it needed. For me, it's Michelle Stafford's work that keeps Phyllis the way she is, and it's hindering the character.
