  1. Excellent finds! I am beginning to try out Loving
  2. Here's my thing, though: how is a "gay man in his 40's" supposed to act like? I know plenty of men⏤heterosexual or homosexual⏤who behave just like Leo Stark does. And the same thing goes for when viewers bitch about how teens are not "acting their age." Everyone is different, and while I am not defending the "writer" and his lazy-ass writing, I am stating there isn't one specific way to write a character. Because I don't see people calling out Sami when she comes to town pulling the same, tired schemes she always does. 🤷🏻‍♂️ If anything, it's hailed because it is Sami Brady.
  3. Adamson is only three-years older than Kevin G. Schmidt and five-years older than Luke Kleintank. Rory Gibson was a downgrade in terms of talent but definitely a reset in terms of age. But, thanks to Gibson, Kyle Abbott is now older than Noah Newman, which isn't how it is in reality. Ordway is three-years younger than Emme Rylan, who everyone vastly prefers in the role and still yearns to return. In reality, age is a construct in soaps I feel many get too hung up on. Nor do I feel either Adamson or Ordway look "too old," either. Both read younger to me.
  4. She has the spunk needed to make Lulu as Spencer again. I cannot wait to see her do more.
  5. Havins Bruening is a solid actress. My love for Miller was just more where I was leaning, but always bought the casting of the former. Happy to see she's back in daytime, considering she didn't think she'd act again.
  6. Despite my wanting Marci Miller, Alexa Havins Bruening was very well cast as Lulu.
  7. Ordway just had something special; I actually thought she would've done exceptionally well with the "Naked Heiress" storyline. She's one of JFP's hires that I liked. The other one was Robert Adamson.
  8. I wouldn't judge them; some cannot afford the monthly costs of rent. For some, hotel living is more economical.
  9. 3 hours ago, Liberty City said: At least they keep it consistent with Lulu and her recasts.
  10. I'm thankful it happened. It was a nice switch-up from the usual they've pitted Kristina in. I am sure with the trial beginning this week it'll return.
  11. There is a way to tell the story... but the "writer" doesn't have the capability of telling it. It will be interesting to see how the upcoming regime handles them, collectively and separately.
  12. I was half-expecting her to get up there and scream: "YOU SELFISH BITCH! HOW DARE YOU DIE WHILE I AM MOURNING MY DAUGHTER ADELA! IT'S SO INSENSITIVE OF YOU!" I am thankful that did not happen. However, the entire funeral felt emotional-less and rushed.
  13. Greg Rikaart looks amazing for 48; unfortunately, with the way this soap shoots and dresses their actors, it comes off worse. I see plenty in their 20's and 30's who look ten-times worse. This is him this past June at the Daytime Emmy Awards: Exactly; we've seen plenty of heterosexual relationships do the same thing in terms of age. It shouldn't be a double-standard for homosexual ones.
  14. 💯 this. All of this!!!!!! It's also ridiculous to think Leo (or his actor) as "old". Whew. It would be extremely weird, and also tirelessly repetitive. Hoping things under the new writing regime settle these issues.
  15. He told us he was giving us Lucky as close to Luke as he ever was before, and I got none of that, haha.
  16. Here's how I've broken it down: visually, Alexa compliments Julie but vocally she compliments Emme. It's a nice mix between two former actors in the newest one. I cannot wait to see the shenanigans Lulu gets up to. Liking that her Spencer side has already come out in her trying to escape her room. She's got more Spencer spark than Jonathan Jackson has had, in trying to give us "Luke Spencer's son".
  17. Credits for Wednesday, November 20, 2024: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Chris Van Etten, Elizabeth Korte Writers: Nigel Campbell, Kate Hall, Anne Schoettle Director: Tina Keller
  18. I feel like we will get that especially with Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) who "inherited her grandmother Anita Dupree's gift for singing, which bonds them".
  19. The material with Patrick Mulcahey as co-head writer aired from March 15 – August 6, 2024.
