  1. Yes, the more red-hued orange dress is stunning. The fashion is serving in the first episode alone. Dani is definitely looking to fulfill the "momager" wild child vibe that she's been described as. Plus, she gives "free-spirited, headstrong and uninhibited".
  2. She's one of the Real Housewives of Potomac stars.
  3. ❝ “We wanted to have a show on the air that spoke to a different side of the Black experience,” Val Jean tells Entertainment Weekly over a joint Zoom with Ducksworth. “Not the downtrodden, not the ghettoized. We wanted to show rich, Black people doing messy things.” “I've long been fascinated with showing the side that we haven't seen a lot of,” says Ducksworth. “In these Maryland suburbs, there were some of the most affluent African American counties in all of America. So looking at that and the wealth of everything at Howard University, I felt that this was an area that was ripe for the picking. You get the upstairs, the downstairs of it all. It's true to life." ❞ Thankfully, none of this sounds "ratchet" or like "smut," or even (Thank God) "Black porn". This sounds smart, thoughtful and very insightful. Ducksworth calling it "true to life" is refreshing. That's what we like hearing! Nope; wasn't just you.
  4. Everything looks so beautiful! The fashion, the hair, everything! But, Karen Huger?! C'mon now.....
  5. Guess I'm the only one who enjoys the presence of some Panesar family members on the canvas. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  6. I'm going to state something controversial... but the work of Kay Alden, Lynn Marie Latham & John F. Smith was not bad. Yes, Latham was in there, but I do think she infused something different that was needed at the time. And while I don't usually love executive producers to have head writer credit, Smith did quite well with the production of the episode, as well. Visually, we're getting back to what we see in the clips above, but we're still a long way off. Amazing what you can do when the dialogue is there. And, it's also alarming just how emotionally damaged each writing regime has made Sharon... whew. That Sharon is a complete 180 to the Sharon of today, and that sucks.
  7. I don't know who I'd prefer to watch: Josh Griffith's current stories or Latham's [former] regimes.
  8. Head writers: Kay Alden, Lynn Marie Latham & John F. Smith
  9. Let's fücking hope not. That's the last thing we need. Wattpad might be where you'd want to look for that.
  10. Translation: Death of Jocelyn Wildenstein, the jet-set's "cat woman"
  11. God. Meyne Wyatt (ex-Nate) could not act. At all.
  12. Abso-fücking-lutely!
  13. About two-hours left, and then I can go to BED!
  14. IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME, TOO!
