  1. Any other recommendations to potentially check into it? I am more of a drama guy.
  2. They were brief lovers in 2018 when he was also beginning to entangle with Anna Devane. Hell, even the idea of Jackson Montgomery may work for Alexis. I just think there should be someone viable for her that won't be toxic or a mobster.
  3. Oh, I found the acting to be superb. But the overall writing and pacing just... wasn't for me. This is the second Netflix original I wasn't into. The first was House of Lies (barely got to ten minutes of that one).
  4. I'd love for Shawn to come back; the briefly teasing of a reunion with them when he came back in 2021. Shame that did not go anywhere; I felt like their chemistry was HOT!
  5. It just... did not grab me in the way I thought it would, which was disappointing. I should have stuck to re-watching Greenleaf instead, lmao.
  6. Alexis' romances have been: not including her three marriages Ned Quartermaine (2000; 2014–2015; 2020) Cameron Lewis Sonny Corinthos (2002) Thomas Rayner Pres Floyd (2006) Mac Scorpio (2010) Shawn Butler (2012–2013) David Bensch (2017) Hamilton Finn (2018) Neil Byrne (2019–2020) Gregory Chase (2022–2023) Ned, outside of Jerry, Ric & Julian, is her most-romanced partner. Realistically, returning Lane Davis' Fergus Byrne would be viable, but highly unlikely.
  7. He likes himself a Bensonhurst lady, lmao. It is very sad that Jax wasn't there, or there wasn't something scripted to suggest he reached out to his friend, whether a temp. actor appeared or not. Hell, have Josslyn came into the funeral and say, "I heard from my dad, he sends his love, and is sorry he couldn't be here for Sam's funeral." Hell, even a vulnerable moment of allowing Ric to be there for her and Molly, and then later on refusing it, and labeling it as a moment of weakness driven by grief for Sam. The funeral, in general, felt jagged and rushed. Like @carolineg suggested: possibly Brennan (although, I'd love for him to go for ANNA!)
  8. I watched season one of The Crown today... visually, it's stunning and well-shot... but it is also boring as ever-loving fück. I don't get the hype. Won't be returning.
  9. I liked the concept of Ned/Olivia, but the moment Lois came back is the moment I realized how pointless their marriage is. And while I respect Rena Sofer & Wally Kurth on their decision to not rekindle an onscreen romance, it is something that is.... largely missing between them, and is one romance I'd love to see revisited somehow. An Alexis/Jax pairing would've been solid; long-time acquaintances/friends turned lovers. He would've been solid for her... but, we know what happened behind-the-scenes that kept this from happening. Realistically, there isn't really anyone on-canvas I could see Alexis paired with, and it working beyond a one-night stand.
  10. The interview, around 8:12 (timestamped above), she does mention there was a discussion with her manager about the possibility of coming onto Beyond the Gates (which she does refer to as The Gates). And, from the sound of it, sounds like she might not have wanted to do it, due to the continued filming, but she is looking forward to watching it.
  11. Not really. Not anymore, any way.
  12. So many of us were; so happy Patrick Mulcahey infused some spark back into Maxie Jones, and that Kirsten Storms showed up for it. It snapped her back into character in every single facet.
  13. So, it seems like she's on that set, which I love. Preview of one of the sets:
  14. I wouldn't mind her on Y&R if the role were right... but, at this point, I don't know if any soap would pick her up. If the "writer" were still at DAYS, that's where she'd be doing. He'd be begging Ken Corday to hire her.
  15. I thought he did a wonderful job today in the material he was given.
  16. Vanguard, it's not happening. It's user-edited in. And Andre is a photographer, not a dancer.
  17. Don't trust IMDb. It is user-edited, and they have others on the cast, like: Michelle Visage (as Maya), Terra Jolé (as Leah), Greg Clarkson (customer #1), Contessa Metcalfe (as Tyra), Nina Parker (as Maggie) & Abby Lee Miller (as Lucia). All user-generated. And list Ron Carlivati as associate head writer, which we already know he isn't.
  18. Credits for Tuesday, November 19, 2024: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Nigel Campbell, Kate Hall, Anne Schoettle Director: Robert Markham
  19. I don't need a recast... I just need Holly gone, altogether.
  20. Already an improvement on the costuming of these characters. Nothing off-the-shoulder or obnoxiously studded. Melody Thomas Scott is serving LADY OF THE HOUSE in her all-red look, and I love it. We have FOOD back?! That looks divine, especially for a motel! Positively divine!
  21. YUP! Helena hated both Stefan & Natasha, but she warned them both of Valentin... that's the power this character was given.... and then taken away.
