  1. When the antagonists start dominating, I stop watching. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but it's my opinion. That's how I feel. I watch a lot of crime dramas, but I like it when the bad guys lose. It's the thrill of solving clues and catching them and then sending them away to jail. I don't mind criminals, I just want them to lose.
  2. I think it will be convoluted and interesting drama, and I'm sure Ms. Tunie will be great. But ... not a good storyline for me -- I won't be feasting. The more I think about this, the more I absolutely hate the idea of Leslie getting more power and influence. It's a big deal for me -- I don't want villains to profit. I just don't. I feel there's enough horrid things in the world, that I want to escape to drama where things get intense but the villains ultimately pay. I *need* to see the heroes win sometimes. I've posted this before, and will say it again -- I don't want villains hanging out with the heroes. I feel it dilutes everything. Yes Trisha Mann-Grant is a great actress, but I just don't want to see Leslie anymore on my screen. I'd rather the actress got a job in the movies, she'd do great. Send Leslie to jail, don't give her money. Seriously if this starts being a Leslie-dominated show, I'll just stop watching. Life is too short for me to spend my time feeling frustrated.

  4. https://www.instagram.com/p/DNbKscspHMW/ iamsofiamattsson (Sofia Mattsson) Rest in peace Tristan Rogers 💔 I feel so incredibly fortunate to have gotten such an amazing TV dad, and I will always cherish the very heartwarming moments we got to share together 🙏❤️
  5. Tristan Rogers and Nancy Lee Grahn guested on this 1994 episode of "Babylon 5". Her character was from the Minbari planet. Nancy mentioned donating to "go2.org" which is an organization to advocate for lung cancer patients https://go2.org/about-us/what-we-do-and-our-history/ https://www.instagram.com/p/DNZXJR6x_sq/ nancyleegrahn Tristan and I had recurring characters on Babylon 5 yrs ago. He told me that standing next to me was the only time he wished he was shorter so that he didn’t have to hover over my ginormous head. When the director asked him to look me in the eyes, he said “I’d love to but that head is too distracting.” Suave, wry, smooth, debonair and ridiculously handsome. This GH Aussie Icon left his mark and will be well remembered. Sending love to his family, and just donated to https://go2.org/ in dear Tristan’s name. XO
  6. On Studio City, Sarah Joy Brown played the daughter of Tristan Rogers' character
  7. https://www.instagram.com/p/DNbBzEhx7FY/ locicero_lisa Always meet your heroes.. if you get that lucky. The stories of my childhood fan letters to Tristan are true and well known, and he always took them with a big Australian size grain of salt (even when those letters were taped to the door of my dressing room) It was an honor and a pure delight to get to know him as both an artist and a friend.. the Monte Carlo episodes we shot together will be on my list of life highlights forever.. my heart goes out to his beautiful family… We miss you already.. 💔 Rest in Peace.
  8. R.A. Rondell is from a famous stuntperson family. His father Ronnie Rondell Jr. passed away in August 2025 and was the stunt coordinator for the original Dynasty. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/ronnie-rondell-jr-dead-stuntman-pink-floyd-1236346066/

  10. @Errol It happened again yesterday August 16, 2025 on the Tristan Rogers thread. I posted Finola Hughes' instagram tribute. It looked fine after I posted it. Link to my post https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/69279-rip-gh-star-tristan-rogers-has-passed-away-after-battle-with-cancer/page/4/#findComment-2045036 Then, in the next post, dragonflies posted a question about when/if Tristan had appeared on GH at the same time as Sean Kanan. But after dragonflies posted, my Finola post then displayed as spilling down over/around/and past dragonflies' post. screengrab of what happened: I noticed that and made the screengrab which I saved. But didn't stop to report it then, as I wanted to fix it immediately so that the honoring of Tristan wouldn't be disrupted. I edited my post to add a ton of lines of blank space under Finola's IG. It still overlapped some, so then I edited again to add even more space. Finally it looked okay and the bottom of my post now displayed as being just above dragonflies' post, with the extra spacing not displaying. This morning, I looked at it, and all the extra spacing I added is now displaying. But I'll just leave it alone since at least there is no more spillage..
  11. I didn't know Carlivati had a law degree until you posted that. Found an old link -- (Link) -- but I don't think he's active anymore? Cheryl L. Davis is still a practicing attorney, so I'm more curious how she wrote or will write this inheritance storyline https://cldplay.com/about/
  12. I agree. Okay I'll throw out some speculations ... Peaches, now that she's dying, has wanted to find Leslie and tell her the truth, but couldn't find her. So then maybe Peaches tried several strategies? Maybe Peaches' first step was that she recently contacted Barbara's family and told *them* that Leslie was their relative, just in case she couldn't find Leslie before she died, maybe they could find her? Okay that doesn't really make sense, but I'm just thinking aloud. At any rate, I think Barbara's family would have had no knowledge of Leslie's existence until Peaches recently told them -- *if* she told them. Also Peaches hired the investigator to find Leslie, so maybe the investigator filled in the missing pieces, and that gave Peaches the opportunity to tell Barbara's family about Leslie's existence, and then the family told Peaches about the money? Oh heck, I don't know!!! I don't think any of my speculations fit. For your other question: Wouldn't members of Barbara's family have already used up the blind trust that Anita set up so many years ago? Yes probably unless there were investments and interest on part of it, but still, likely used up by now. However Anita said that she just donated her personal share of the proceeds of the Articulettes reunion concert into the blind trust, so clearly the fund still exists. Still, lots of unanswered questions!
  13. @Paul Raven posted: Leslie's original plan-running Laura off the road and Eva taking her pace, doesn't really make much sense. What was the purpose of having Eva work for Nicole? I thought Leslie's plot was to have Eva spy on Nicole and Ted and get inroads into their lives -- and in fact, Leslie got Eva to suggest to them that they have a big anniversary party -- something they hadn't even thought of doing until Eva suggested it. Leslie wanted a big party with everyone there, to reveal the Ted/Leslie affair publicly. I think I posted back then that this was the first time I'd seen a new twist on the old soap trope of a big reveal at a major event -- the twist this time was the revealer's coconspirator engineering the event to exist. And of course the other reason the show started off with that ... was to establish that Leslie is a sociopath.

  15. Okay. I agree that Peaches told the inheritance attorneys about Leslie. But how did Peaches know about the inheritance to begin with -- how did she know that the inheritance attorneys existed? Peaches wanted to tell Leslie she was dying. She sent out an investigator to find where Leslie is living now. Did the investigator somehow learn about the blind trust?
  16. Found this interview from 2017 where he talks about the film https://carolyntopoltalk.com/visiting-with-jordi-vilasuso/ Jordi Vilasuso: The Invitation was a low budget, independent movie with a terrific cast, crew, and writing team. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in theater, film, or television. It felt like we were doing a play. We were all in one house. We had two days of rehearsal. Everyone shared the same dressing room — all the men were in one room and the women had their room. We were together, working for a month, in this house. CTT: So it was an ensemble piece? JV: It was a very ensemble piece and there was nothing but creativity and support from everyone. Everyone was there and cared about the story, found it very compelling and just wanted to tell a really great story. It was a super fun ride. It’s turned out to be really great. I think Entertainment Weekly called it one of the top 10 films of the year so far. [As of mid-November 2016].
  17. Your original link didn't work, I think there was a space added into the end of the hyperlink or something I think I fixed it when quoting so it should work here. Insightful article. Thank you for posting.
  18. Posting on this Politics thread has fallen way off since the horrible one went back to the white house, especially after his agenda and the congress' agenda went into full force. Obviously, I cannot speak for all the other posters as to why their posting has fallen away; I can speak only for myself. For myself personally, to be honest, with fifty gazillion horrible things happening in politics daily, I haven't been posting on this thread very often, it's all so overwhelmingly awful. I can barely handle reading the news, let alone talking about it. But I do realize that it does need to be talked about. I have missed your voice here.
  19. Kimberly McCullough interviews Tristan Rogers in 2012
  20. oooh! how did I miss that? Thanks. Edit, okay I just rewatched, and yes there it is.
  21. I miss owning a car. It was my tradition to go for a long drive every year on Madonna's birthday and play her music loud
  22. Caitlin Reilly, daughter of John Reilly (Sean Donely) She appeared as Sean's daughter Annie Donely for the GH tribute after John died.
  23. Posted by Ian Buchanan Liked by claudiogama_71 (Claudio Gama) who is the husband of Tony Geary, but Claudio posts pics daily and likes pics daily -- I don't know if he knew the significance of Ian's post -- if he knew that Tristan had died.
