More on the Supreme Court decision on the EPA: via the Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/jun/30/us-supreme-court-ruling-restricts-federal-power-greenhouse-gas-emissions The U.S. Supreme Court just ruled that the Environmental Protection Agency does not have the authority to mandate carbon emissions from existing power plants. The ruling could also have sweeping consequences for the federal government’s ability to set standards and regulate in other areas, such as clean air and water, consumer protections, banking, workplace safety and public health. It may prove a landmark moment in conservative ambitions to dismantle the “regulatory state”, stripping away protections from Americans across a wide range of areas. The Supreme Court has sided with West Virginia, a major coal mining state, which argued that “unelected bureaucrats” at the EPA should not be allowed to reshape its economy by limiting pollution – even though emissions from coal are helping cause worsening flooding, heatwaves and droughts around the world, as well as killing millions of people through toxic air. Comment from me: The only workaround to save the environment is for congress and senate to agree on legislation to protect the planet. But Manchin hasn't cooperated because he's from a coal state. (and because he's horrible) from the NPR link that @DramatistDreamer posted: https://www.npr.org/2022/06/30/1103595898/supreme-court-epa-climate-change Justice Elena Kagan, in a furious dissent, said essentially that the Court is making up new rules that contradict nearly a century of regulatory law. The text of the Clean Air Act, she said, clearly anticipates that the EPA will have to deal with new problems and uses broad language to allow that. The Court majority, she says, "does not have a clue about how to address climate change...yet it appoints itself, instead of congress or the expert agency...the decision-maker on climate policy. I cannot think of many things more frightening."

at noon eastern June 30- Ketanji Brown Jackson sworn in as Supreme Court justice- Two DAYS Actors Out
Oh I forgot this also happened during Juneteenth: Clyde and Leo talked about the jewelry. And something completely random: Victor and Bonnie played pinochle.- Two DAYS Actors Out
Oh right. I had been wondering why/how Julie had changed her clothes before going to the hospital & to Ben & Ciara's - seeing as hardly any other character had changed. I guess she must have stopped to change at the house when she & Theo went to relieve the babysitters.- Two DAYS Actors Out
Monday 6/20 episode Paulina got out on bail. They said let's get married tomorrow because tomorrow is Juneteenth. They notified family. Tues. June 21 was a new Salem Day -- and it began Juneteenth. Theo and JJ live in South Africa. Theo and JJ arrived in Salem together in the morning, just before the wedding. Theo explains that Gabi sent the DiMera jet to get him and JJ. Juneteenth in Salem began with Tues 6/21 episode and it's still Juneteenth. You can tell it's *still* Juneteenth by the wardrobe. Nicole was wearing the same dress Monday 6/27 that she wore to Abe and Paulina's wedding, and then Nicole changed into a white dress offcamera and married Rafe at the courthouse the same day. On Tues 6/28, Allie was wearing the same dress that she wore to Abe and Paulina's wedding. On Wed 6/29 Chloe and Brady were wearing the same wardrobe they wore Fri 6/24. And furthermore, Wed 6/29 JJ arrived at the DiMera mansion with Jack and Jennifer to see Chad, and JJ told Chad he had just arrived "this morning with Theo". So all of this - the Juneteenth wedding; Lani's confession; Roman telling Eric to tell Nicole how he feels; Eric going to see Nicole only to learn that she just married Rafe at the courthouse; Sami's return; Lucas proposing to Sami; EJ signing Sami's divorce papers; Ben&Ciara receiving a boat; EJelle having sex; Jan naming her baby Shawn Christian; Evan learning from Orpheus that Evan is the father of Jan's baby; Jack and Jen picking out a burial dress for Abigail; and JJ consoling Chad -- happen on the same Salem day. At this point it's only been a few hours since Lani confessed.- Y&R June 2022 Discussion Thread
Victoria outscheming EVERYONE. Finally. Such an interesting story about all the men assuming that the poor little woman is clueless and incompetent. Everyone having conversations about this. (Men assuming that "the poor little woman is incapable of making rational decisions for herself" is really reflecting society right now.) And meanwhile she is secretly being the queen here and taking down Ashland in her own way and on her own terms, without being *rescued* by any man. They are so underestimating her! Destroy them all!- Days: Beyond Salem Chapter 2 Spoilers
There were three of those "series". Chad & Abby in Paris, Chapter One Eight episodes Aug. 1 – Sept. 5, 2019 Chad & Abby in Paris, Chapter Two Eight episodes Sept. 19 – Nov. 7, 2019 Last Blast Reunion (takes place in New York City) Eight episodes Nov. 29, 2019 – Jan. 16, 2020 They were on a special "app" called the "DOOLapp" and that app was available only in the US. You had to have the app -- they couldn't be watched in a regular browser window. They weren't streaming, and they weren't podcasts, but they were sort of like that. Some viewers referred to the episodes as "appisodes" for lack of a better term. The show officially called it a "Digital Series". Each episode was between 6 and 10 minutes long. The first few were uploaded at once; and then one episode was uploaded each week thereafter. These series sort of had same concept as what Beyond Salem does now - Salem characters interacting outside of Salem. It was canon. But if you only watched the main daytime show and never knew about the DOOLapp "appisodes", it wouldn't disrupt your continuity of watching the main daytime show. The characters of Chad and Abby had exited the main daytime show prior to this. They had left Salem and were living in Paris. This was a quick way to check in with the characters without requiring a longterm taping commitment for the actors. The episodes were so short that I think each "chapter" was filmed in a few days. They introduced the character of Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) for the very first time in "Chad and Abby in Paris". Li and Chad worked in the Paris office of DiMera Enterprises. Later on, Hoffman debuted as Li on the main daytime show in April 2020. For the digital "Last Blast Reunion" in New York, they brought back several of the original actors from the Last Blast Dance teen crowd of old for a reunion - who hadn't been on the main daytime show in many many years. Including Jay Kenneth Johnson and Heather Lindell -- who came to the main daytime show later in 2020. In a different sort of carryover ... the 2019 Chad and Abby in Paris apartment set was used for the first time for the main daytime show in 2020 -- the set was used briefly at various times when Salem characters were running from the police and went to France and hid out at the DiMera Paris apartment.- ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?

I think you are replying to your own question that you asked on the Marci Miller interview thread, seeking clarification whether Abigail was stabbed on June 10 or June 13. I replied to you there, but I'll reply here also: Abby was discovered stabbed by Chad at the end of Friday June 10. It wasn't in the June 10 transcript because it was a silent scene - the transcript page has only dialog but not descriptions. However it is in the last sentence of the tvmeg "update" page for June 10. (They use the word "update" to mean "recap".) https://www.tvmeg.com/index.php/2022/06/10/days-update-friday-june-10-2022/ The scene of Chad discovering Abigail was repeated at beginning of Monday June 13, and then things proceeded as you described reading in the June 13 transcript.- ARTICLE: Marci Miller Exiting ‘Days of our Lives’ as Abigail Deveraux DiMera – SPOILERS
Abby was discovered stabbed by Chad at the end of Friday June 10. The scene of him discovering her was repeated at beginning of Monday June 13. On another thread, you cited the June 13 transcript as being evidence that June 13 is when Abigail was found stabbed. Abby was discovered stabbed by Chad at the end of Friday June 10. It wasn't in the June 10 transcript because it was a silent scene - the transcript page has only dialog but not descriptions. Tues June 28: CBS is airing the hearing. B&B is preempted. Los Angeles airs B&B later in the day so they are airing a rerun. The LA station is airing a repeat of Steffy and Finn's wedding, from Friday, August 6, 2021. They exchange vows and rings and are pronounced married. After the ceremony is complete, they begin the reception. At the end of the episode, Finn steps aside to take medical phonecall and Sheila walks up to him and introduces herself as his mother.- Days 6/27/2022 Weekly Preview Promo
Tuesday. Ciara and Ben receive a gift - the ownership of a sailboat named "Living in Cin". Really. Confirmed in SOD. I'm just grateful it's not the Fancy Face.- Days: Beyond Salem Chapter 2 Spoilers
On the main show, regular daytime Days: Tuesday June 28: "Ben and Ciara receive a life-changing gift from Hope." Hope gives Ciara and Ben a surprise - a sailboat named "Living in Cin". Really. Confirmed in SOD. (I could snark about the boat but I have no words) They receive the keys to the boat or an ownership certificate or whatever - as a present. I guess they are told where the boat is moored? And their exit from the main show: ___________________________________________ Anyhow. She's saying she filmed something else "in Canada", and then on BS Hope is in fake Montreal. The real-life travel to film in Canada could have been anywhere. I don't know what she was filming, but a lot of Hallmark stuff is done near Vancouver. And yeah you can tell from that outdoor "Montreal" scene where Hope is in the green dress - that the shrubbery/greenery is borrowed from one of the Days park sets.- The Politics Thread
They said last week that there would be no more Jan.6 hearings in June .... because congress is leaving for vacation soon, and there wouldn't be enough time to organize all the witness, documents, videos, etc etc before they leave. -- So much new info has been sent to the committee. They said the next hearing would be at some point after Congress comes back - sometime after July 11th. I'm confused. The word "trolling" can mean various things depending on the context and I sometimes miss written subtleties. Does Cornyn really want to overturn Brown? I took him literally. If he's being sarcastic I don't find it funny. What does he mean?- The Politics Thread
