  1. you accidentally posted that on the nonspoiler thread
  2. The character is named "Dr. Mark Greene". Ron thinks he's clever with the "E.R." reference.
  3. Perez Hilton posted crap in his column about someone from a soap ... 10 years ago that he got from a tabloid who got it from a source they didn't name. I found all the links to the original crap from his 2014 column and from the tabloid where he obtained it, but then decided no need for those links here. ---------------------- Anyhow, the point of this discussion being, why would GH want to put a scummy person like Perez Hilton on their show?
  4. the spoiler that Perez Hilton is appearing on GH, and then searching for info about a rumor that Hilton once spread a rumor about a GH actress.
  5. Some thoughts on searching for info ... Posting "I found this by using an AI" or "I found this searching on bing" doesn't mean anything. When finding something on google, bing, or an AI, do some digging to find out where they got it from, and then cite the original source. Sometimes a source is quoting another source, etc., so then go back several layers to find the original quote. Wikipedia has footnotes to show sources, but still, I always check those sources. EDIT to add the most important thing -- if it's crap, why post it?
  6. Dave Rupel is in the full winners list https://theemmys.tv/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/51st-Daytime-Emmys-Winner-Release-FRIDAY-VS2-.pdf
  7. Dut to timing and lack of rehearsals in modern soaps, it seems like soap directors direct traffic but there just simply isn't time to actually *direct* the actors to show character traits. Sometimes it seems to me that (maybe) the actors are given only scripts and blocking -- and the actors are left up to themselves to decide on emotions. Of course, I'm just guessing.
  8. re: the tweet that @Vee posted https://x.com/atrupar/status/1800521789417943317 Aaron Rupar @atrupar New in PN: Sinclair injects deceptive attacks on Biden's age into dozens of local broadcasts (a special collaboration with @JuddLegum) https://publicnotice.co/p/sinclair-biden-slipping-wall-street-journal-hit Check out this video showing local Sinclair anchors reading from the same script 👇 ------- I see nothing has changed since Sinclair started doing this back in 2017. I remember the 2017 piece on Sinclair done by nytimes https://web.archive.org/web/20240505033707/https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/14/us/politics/how-a-conservative-tv-giant-is-ridding-itself-of-regulation.html and especially this 2017 piece on Sinclair by John Oliver
  9. *nods* I've never liked Jason, but there were times when he was able to *see* Elizabeth as a person. Which Finn rarely did.
  10. This Y&R Thanksgiving 2023 picture says so much about how Y&R sees Abby... It's awful by putting her in the middle instead of Mamie. And these are the only characters she interacts with.
  11. Preview "On the Next GH" for Tuesday June 11
  12. 13. https://x.com/SoapOperaNewss/status/1800286214215418142 Looks like Tuesday is an insert episode. The remaining descriptions match the prior batch, but are off by one airdate. That would push this description from Friday June 14 to Monday June 17 (unless June 17 is now something completely new) Carly is suspicious. Nina gets a thrilling invitation. Cody gets food for thought. Anna accepts an offer from Valentin. John gives Jason a shocking task.
  14. On May 30, he played both Alan Laurent and twin Martin Laurent. (The Martin scene was with Tucker)
  15. BTS video (has no spoilers) via Conner Floyd https://www.instagram.com/p/C8AN7hSvIB8/
  16. Preview video for week of June 10th (I assume this is still just a fantasy)
  17. It wasn't a bunch of crazed idiots last night. It was one extremely racist person on twitter who called Tabyana a racial slur on June 8, then the tweeter commented more June 9 defending their slur. I have receipts; but it's not okay to post that slur here or anywhere. A word referencing a primate. The person defended themself, saying it was a joke and didn't think their comment was a big deal, and that white is right, and that racism is a hoax, etc etc etc. It was a series of horrible tweets that I won't post here. Tabyana called the person out and ... And then Tabyana said something along the lines of putting people on ignore is one thing, but sometimes ignoring doesn't help and you have to call them out... and later same evening (after fans got upset) Taybana added something ... We cannot stoop to rude/racist people’s level. We’re going in circles and that doesn’t get us anywhere.
  18. Currently (8:52am PDT, 11:52am EDT) when I go to @Liberty City's post https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/66788-instagram-embeds-spillingbreaking-into-page/#comment-1932736 I don't see the Maura West ig spilling over -- in fact I don't see the Maura West IG at all anymore now (but I did yesterday see it spilling). Instead, I now see a horizontal gray line where the MW ig was, followed by the text of liberty's post talking about sourcecode. screengrab of what I now see:
  19. It used to be that if you posted an "x.com" tweet within a SON post, it wouldn't embed, so all we would see was the URL of the x.com tweet. But posting a "twitter.com" tweet within a SON post would embed fine. When posting here at SON, we had to manually edit the URLs of tweets to say "twitter.com" instead of "x.com" - so that it would embed. Just recently, that somehow got fixed -- so now it doesn't matter if you use "x.com" or "twitter.com" -- both formats will embed now. I assume there was a messageboard software update? It used to be that you if you posted the URL of an instagram post within your SON post here, it would not embed, and all that would display was the URL of the ig post. In order to embed an IG post within your messageboard post here, you had to use the sourcecode of the ig post. Now @Liberty City mentioned abovethread that ig posts will now embed by simply posting the URL without the sourcecode, so that must be a recent change? (and that's what's causing the spillover display for some of us). @Errol did both of those updates recently happen?
  20. I'm on an outdated Windows 7 PC so I assumed it was my own fault for not updating my system, and didn't say anything. But it was only very recently and it was exactly as @Maxim described, so then I realized it wasn't just me.
  21. I don't know when/why it was changed. The word "performance" being the focus makes much more sense(to me)... in that the Daytime Emmys are the judged by the best performance in a few scenes (i.e. reel). The Daytime Emmys are not awarded/judged by who is the best actor/actress over the course of the year. I mean obviously it's stupid that awards are given based on who has the best reel! But since they do it that way, then calling it best "performance" is at least more descriptive of what they judge. They really should call it "best performance reel" LOL.
