  1. ^ The ABC broadcast closing credits for Friday Feb. 7 are playing in the background of this YT preview video. That would be the closing credits for Mon-Fri Feb. 3-7. Evan Hofer is still in the contract actor credits. For the ABC broadcast on Fridays: The noncontract actors are always listed on the final slide, and usually it's only a 5 or 6 of the many noncontract actors that appeared during the week. Chris McKenna isn't listed either in contract or noncontract, so presumably he's noncontract but they didn't have room for him on the final slide.
  2. (preview of a scene from Monday Feb. 10) GH Sneak: Trina and Ava Catch Up Trina runs into Ava at the park. Trina relays to Ava a phone message that Ava still doesn't have a buyer for her second gallery space. Ava's disappointed. They discuss various topics related to Ava's real estate and finances, including the Cassadine stuff, and Sidwell, etc. Then Ava asks Trina how she now finds the time to be at the gallery so often -- and Ava wonders why Trina has started spending less time visiting her friend (Kai) at the hospital. Trina replies that it turns out that her being at the hospital wasn't helpful. Watch the video on abc.com's GH page in the "clips" section at this link: https://abc.com/video/a85d31e9-ecc7-485d-8456-37da9a812a50/playlist/PL557769560 If you subscribe to Hulu, find the same clip by going to the Hulu GH page, select the "extras" tab, and then look for "GH Sneak: Trina and Ava Catch Up" https://www.hulu.com/watch/36d4fc52-b532-450e-bd89-2548c2b9f373
  3. EB from tvinsider: When pressed to name something he wishes he could have played more in his four-plus decades, Braeden responds, “Well, I kind of regret that there wasn’t this ongoing relationship with Ashley [Abbott, Eileen Davidson] — that could have always been looming in the background — but other than that, to be frank with you, no. I have enormous respect for the writers because I would not want to do what they do.” --- WOW. Has he ever said that before?
  4. Michael Mattes has attended Days events and takes photos. Decades ago, he had a website with the photos, and here it is: https://web.archive.org/web/20011211225331/http://daysofourlives.simplenet.com/album/ He still takes Days event photos. He is now one of the hosts of Dishin Days, so you could contact him there -- he'd probably have a list of past events.
  5. I noticed that a lot of people (on social media and messageboards) seem to be interpreting this dayspeacock "ladywhistleblower" announcement as a directive to stop posting clips of the show. But I didn't read it that way. They specifically reference the Days tiktok account, and from how they worded it, I took it literally -- I interpreted it to mean that somebody copied the dayspeacock tiktok account with a lot of its content, and created their own similar account to share stuff. The show is pissed -- and the show is using Lady Whistleblower to complain (because the stupid "powers that be" think we viewers all love the LadyWhistleblower storyline and will pay attention to that). I mean I could be wrong, but that's how I'm reading it. Basically like an actor saying "xyz facebook isn't my account but someone made a copy of my page with all its content, so don't be fooled." The LadyWhistleblower announcement even says: "beware of imposters" ... just like an annoyed actor would say if there was a imposter actor page. Except that an actor would speak plainly and not use a stupid storyline device to convey the message.

  10. Jason Thompson and Courtney Hope via "Swoon" (sister website to tvinsider). They discuss working together and analyze their characters. Not really spoilerish but posting here just in case. https://www.swooon.com/1175257/young-and-the-restless-billy-sally-romance-future-jason-thompson-courtney-hope/
  11. "On the Next GH" preview for Monday February 10th (tidbits of miscellaneous scenes)
  12. Same clip from the "YR Insider" youtube channel. fyi @Errol Just noticed that this YT channel exists and has been posting the "next week on" videos since the beginning of December 2024. I hadn't seen their channel until @BetterForgotten posted from it on another thread. "Next Week on Y&R" (preview video) for week of Feb. 10th https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSFFU_vvNEI
  13. I wonder if Ava/Sophia was originally supposed to be Chloe/Joy?
  14. Whenever I see the topic of suicide mentioned on the internet, I usually personally post links to crisis hotlines, because I personally feel it's the right thing to do. I have done that here on SON if I happen to see suicide mentioned. I may have strongly stated that I think that it's useful to mention it. But it was my opinion and not a SON policy. (Donna may have thought I was stating a policy but it was actually just my strong opinion).
  15. -- speculation only -- unproven random speculation that PERHAPS the show had intended to write a Chloe return for Brady, with a Broe romance. And also Chloe returning with her little sister Joy. But for whatever reason, PERHAPS they wanted Nadia and Nadia wasn't available? So then they had to reassign Nadia's stuff to whomever. Chloe's romance was rewritten for Ava, and Chloe mentoring her little sister Joy was also rewritten. Just guessing. /end speculation.
  16. This thread has now been going for eleven months! love it.

  18. I thought Skye fit better as an AMC Chandler. The Rae Cummings stuff never made sense to me on any of the soaps.
  19. My parents raised me right. Since the 1950s, they were social justice Christians who befriended people of all faiths, no faith, and from all over the planet. I met many wonderful people when I was a child.

  21. In my youth, in the 1970s, I did protests, and we underwent civil disobedience training. We were asked to do the training before protesting, so that we could truly understand what might happen, and decide individually for ourselves in advance, what might happen to me or my loved ones if I'm arrested or trampled or beaten. They suggested that even if you plan to only do protest marching - but weren't going to do active civil disobedience activities to get arrested -- that it might help to do the civil disobedience training anyhow. So I did take the training class, to learn. Some training was how to reason with counterprotesters and how to reason with rational police, but they also gave training on how to assess danger and when to walk/run away for safety. It seems like there's much less protest skill nowadays. Just social media telling you to go be trendy and march and yell. And also now there's much more violent counterprotesters and emboldened police. It feels more like the early 60s now.
  22. And Trump's team is supposedly deporting without hearings due to what they're claiming is a "national emergency" excuse. So they'd send you to Guantanamo or Columbia without giving you a hearing to prove that you're actually a U.S. citizen. Always important to avoid being arrested at a protest, due to what Maxwell Frost said, but especially now.
  23. Closing credits for Feb. 5, 2025 Canada (Feb. 6, 2025 USA) Jermaine Rivers on contract as Damian Kane. Nathan Owens recurring as Holden Novak. Nathan Owen's character (as FakeDamian) in January was called "Damian King" in the closed captioning. Now the closing credits in February show Jermaine Rivers (RealDamian) as "Damian Kane".
  24. Just curious (asking members here) what's your opinion on who should be the "voice" or leader of the Democratic party. Who is the face of the policies that need emphasis? (I don't have an opinion yet myself. I find it all so confusing.)
