Welcome back, Melinda. Too bad you got caught in all this crap with Kristen and her mother. The writing for Rachel Blake will never not be ridiculous. Bitch hates Stefano but she’s acting just like him? OK. Seriously, she never should’ve been brought back. Not just because this storyline is stupid but because her “death” was also a major turning point back in the day. Brady did seem to show a little bit of a spine with Ava today. Hopefully, he follows through with his words and remembers that he is the parent and that he shouldn’t let his awful kid run his life. As for little Rachel, I still think the only therapy she needs is a nice long session with Dr. Belt and Dr. Wooden Spoon 😂😂😂 And I liked that Ava was there to comfort him about John. Speaking of John, Marlena showed some fire today! I was loving that’s she so ready to go to Washington and talk to Shane about John. It really felt like classic Marlena. Her and Steve teaming up could be really good to see. This is how Marlena should be used; with her family and her real friends, not her dopey patients who cling to her. And hopefully, this leads to Shane, Paul and Andrew having a big part in this storyline as well. I also liked Tate and Holly’s argument about Doug III, and everything that happened with Sophia. It was some really good teen angst. And I’m looking forward to seeing what happens now that Tate knows that it was Julie’s necklace that was stolen. I hope he like tries to blackmail Doug III instead of immediately revealing it to everybody. That would help build up the feud/rivalry between them and they really should. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a good fight on Days 😂 And once again, Leo was unnecessary. Like, why is this creepy old man so invested in the lives of teenagers? Doug III definitely needs another person to confide in. The cliffhangers at the end were really good though. I actually didn’t see them coming and they both have me looking forward to next week, along with Marlena and Steve going to Washington.

Yeah… Martin is an abusive dick and I hope Smitty cheats. I like the storyline though, but I still don’t think that the lack of chemistry is intentional. And I also still think that Andre and Dani’s fling should be used to cause a scandal for him as well. I like Jacob and Naomi too but I’m not really sure how he isn’t facing any disciplinary action for not doing anything after Dani pulled the gun. Same can be said for Martin. That should be another scandal for him, which could help build up the conflict between him and Smitty. Maybe a hot reporter and former colleague of Smitty can investigate, which could lead to Smitty cheating. And yeah, I don’t mind the set design of Bill and Hayley’s house but I will admit that that couch is hideous 😂😂

Tracy, FTW! 👍 If there's someone on GH who doesn't kiss Sonny's ass and isn't written like they're the bad guy when they don't, I'm glad that it's her. And I'm really loving the relationship that they're establishing between her and Gio, and how concerned she is about Sonny's influence on him. And I'm glad that they're pushing him so much as a character too. Not only is Giovanni Mazza cute AF lol but he's a pretty good actor too. Hopefully, we'll get a good Gio/Emma/Trina/Kai friendship.

Yeah, that definitely says something. RSW and GR were no surprise considering Ron’s obsession with them. Hell, I would’ve been insulted on Ron’s behalf if they hadn’t said anything 😂😂😂 As for Julie Dove, maybe she was fine with the way her character was written, but personally, I feel she deserved better. Welcome! It’ll be good to see more people in here after Ron leaves 😂😂

Today was very flashback heavy, but if it means that this Fake Rafe stuff is finally ending and leading into something better like Shawn/Jada/Rafe or EJ vs. Gabi and JJ, I’m all for it lol kinda feel bad for Shawn though. I’m curious to see where he’s gonna go from here. I was really impressed by EJ/Dan Feuerriegel today. He played it like an actual villain, rather than some campy clown, which is exactly the why that he always should play it. And I was liking the way that this part of the storyline is building up. It’s starting to seem a lot more clever and well thought out than what we’ve seen over the past few months. And yeah… Stephanie/Alex/Joy isn’t as interesting as Philip/Stephanie/Alex. JJ meeting Joy and finding out about the possible baby could be interesting though. But, all the Body&Soul talk was unnecessary.

Exactly! That’s why people on here saying “Ron’s just a breakdown writer” didn’t ease my concerns about him at BTG. Because look what “just a breakdown writer” did at Days.

I still think it would be more sensible if Martin had been Vernon and Anita’s son, not grandson, that the way the age thing wouldn’t be that much of an issue, IMO. Regardless, I enjoyed Martin and Smitty yesterday. They seemed like actual husbands yesterday, even though I still think there’s some work to do. In terms of the writing, their storyline stands out to me as much as Dani’s does. And I also liked how the majority of the B and C storylines took center stage yesterday. Kat vs. Eva could be very interesting too

I always said Ron has writing talent. As for Jamey, anyone could do what he did to get where he is 👄🍑🍑🍑🍑 I’m worried he’ll be part of it. And try to inject stupid stuff into it like he did with Liz/Marie at Doug’s Guess we can put them on the list of actors who’ve spoken out now that Ron is gone 😂

Surprisingly, GH is even doing a better job with Lucas/Brad then BTG is doing with Martin/Smitty.

Before I start, I just have to say once again how glad I am that Jamey Giddens is gone!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎊 As for today, Ava slapping Kristen was the best part. Her smug bitch attitude was so ridiculous today that I’m glad somebody finally did it. Kristen and her little demon spawn deserve a lot more than a slap but this was a good start. Brady looked pathetic again though, except for in his scene with Marlena. He really needs to grow some balls and stop letting Kristen and his awful kid run his life. It’s at the point that I’m wondering why any woman would want him. Except for being hot, he literally has nothing to offer. One thing I’m hoping for with the new writers is that they stop holding back when characters are fighting or arguing and just have them go all out. There’s no reason why any character hasn’t called Kristen a bad mother yet. Alex going back to work at Titan is the right decision. Not only does he belong there, but it also shows how ridiculous and pointless this Body&Soul nonsense was. I still think he should be a villain though. He should be trying to undermine Philip and Xander, not being all buddy-buddy with them. Plus, it plays into the way that RSW plays the character. I still have mixed feelings about Joy though and about Stephanie keeping the secret about the possible pregnancy. She should be messy but not just so that it makes Alex look good. Btw, can we please stop with the Nancy bashing? Dude, we know you hate the character but give it a f*ckin rest. Things like this are why you got fired. Fingers crossed that he and his bitchboy don’t ruin BTG like they ruined Days.

Poor Smitty. I like where it looks like they’re going with him and Martin but the lack of chemistry is really hurting both actors and characters. I mean, are they ever gonna show each other any affection? And again, is that Brandon Claybon’s real voice? Because it sounds like he’s putting on a stereotypical “gay voice” The press conference was ok but I hope this isn’t the end of the follow up from Dani’s outburst at the wedding and that the effects of it play out for a long time. And, I hope there’s eventually some fall out over Dani/Andre because that could be another potential scandal as well or at least get people gossiping.

Yeah... I'll give him that 😂 And I still think he does have writing talent too. But like I said, he's also got a lot of issues, and those issues are what got him fired. Hopefully, he didn't bring them over to BTG.
